Nothing. On G4, they switched to the Sony venue and the the crowd behind the G4 hosts were rowdy as the preshow started.
 
ign is showing killzone 3 vid....ugh do i not care about that game......give me the last guardian, SOC in hd, uncharted 3 (i wish) and slycooper
 
Man I almost cried when the new Donkey Kong Country video came up on the screen. The first DKC is one of my favorite games ever, I never actually thought they would make a new one, at least not on Wii (maybe on DS). The new Kirby looked awesome to me, Zelda looked ok but I have faith in the series and Miyamoto, and I actually thought Goldeneye looked cool too but that may just be nostalgia talking I'm not sure. And I am really excited for the 3DS, the lineup of developers and games is SICK. For the first time in years I am more excited for products on Nintendo consoles than I am for products on everything else.

man i must be watching a diff nintendo press conference because what i saw wasnt that impressive. ill reserve any full comment on the 3ds since thats somethin youd need to see in person but the only thing i saw that i thought was good was that the new ds has an analog stick or rather a nipple. did they mention anywhere how much itll be going for?

aside from that the new metroid, zelda and goldeneye games had very dated looking graphics. ms conference must hae been utter shit for people to be drooling over nintendos this much.

Example: I liked Kinect better when I first bought it as the Live Vision Camera.

any of you 9-5 worker types who are also stuck with the IGN liveblog having any luck? I click on it but it just brings me to the same page.
 
goddamn...killzone's detail and graphics are top notch but I fail to see anything gameplay wise that is different from the last one or will set it apart from every other shooter

i was talking about shit like remote play, psp support, psp go support, more online integration into XMB, Home, etc....leads me to believe they will drop the ball with 3D, move, and other big new things they are showing

The only thing I hate worse than motion controls is 3-D. I think Nintendo got it right, ditch the glasses. Very impressed with their conference. First time I've been tempted to go back to Nintendo in awhile. If the unnamed Final Fantasy game was by any chance the remake of VI on DS (since it had technical issues in theory) I would order mine tomorrow.

What does Sony have up it's sleeve other than jumping into motion with Move or 3D? Needs something unique.

Personally, I'm enjoying both. The Wii is my least used console. I turn it on about once every 3 months.
 
Yeah thats the difference. With 3DS you have the entire 3d experience in your hands. With 3D on PS3 you have to buy a expensive ass TV along with the PS3 and the game, and possibly the glasses as well depending on what TV you buy.

this is where opinions and personal preference come into play. Dont get butt hurt about my opinion. I feel that the PSP's support is shitty and I get maybe one good game every 6 months and the PS3's exclusives are few and far between. I prefer my xbox for the controller and my friends on live so I feel Sony should step up tto the plate and make me want to play their exclusives. MS spends tons of money securing exlusive timeframes and content on non exclusive games plus they have quite a few exclusive games I enjoy. I dont feel Sony tries to get out there and grab gamers. I feel like they say "we have the bestest shit ever and thats that" and they expect people to come running. I dont feel they try as hard as the other 2 to really make the gamer want to play the system. I think they rely on the fanboys a bunch.
