the 3ds vs vita thing can be compared tomorrow. Too early to declare anything until after the nintendo conference, which I am looking forward to.
But on price alone, it will definitely be competitve.
The Vita so far very impressive for handheld. It will sell well over time.

Microsoft is getting crushed right now. Gears of War 3 looked amazing, but that was pretty much it for me. Sony is on their game right now.

Anyways $250 is a killer price. I thought if they came in at $300 they were solid but $250 is gold. At that price I may just adopt one fairly early on. I think its exactly what Sony needed during this confrence and if they dont announce it on stage they are freaking idiots. I would have given them a B before the $250 price but with it ill knock em up to a B+. If they can announce one or two big games we have not heard about they will totally be A rank.

Edit: Fanboy Magus is mad because I said ONE of the games Sony presented looked dumb. Sly 4. What a sad guy.

The 3DS is the first piece of Nintendo hardware (excluding virtual boy) I haven't bought. I also don't even plan on getting one at the moment. Overpriced, based solely on a gimmicky feature and unacceptable software.

Truthfully, i own one, and its hands down one of my favorite handheld consoles ever. Its true that most of the current library is fairly gimmicky. But theres a few games (Dead or Alive, SSF4, Samurai Warriors), alone that show how powerful the system is (Even without the 3D feature).

Pretty sure Nintendo has quite a bit up thier sleeve for the 3DS tommorow

Same here. Nintendo is really on a free-fall as far as hardware and games go. They used to be the best. This whole casual-focused Nintendo is getting really sad.

I'm a huge sucker for Versus games...and I cannot wait for the Street Fighter x Tekken game. Also...the Modnation Racers PS Vita dude with the lisp was...something else.

  • SSX
  • StarHawk

Passing on Uncharted atleast until it sub $30. Same Tomb Raider type game.


PS: If someone can contact MSI Magus and tell him I didn't mean to offend him when I said I didn't like how Sly 4 looked. He went ballistic lol. I don't want to have enemies on these forums I love CAG.
 
So far the conferences have been so-so. Personally give the edge to Microsoft but not by much as both were not that great.

Only in for Uncharted 3 and maybe Sly 4 (though it didn't look all that impressive).

Vita looks nice but I don't think it will work out too well. Just me.
 
Better presser than the others, only thing I'm interested in was the 24" 3DTV (2p same screen).
 
Vita has a good entry price but I didn't see any games I wanted. Same goes for the rest of Sony's conference. The whole thing was just incredibly boring to me. PS3 is what I play when I can't get it on PC, but I'm not excited at all looking forward. E3 sucks this year.
