Sigh, this is gonna make me go to EB on a daily basis....

EVERYDAY THEIR MORNING UPDATES WILL DROP A GAME TO $10!!!!

Usually this price drop will last for 1 day...USED Will be reduced to $4.89 on most cases...

Holy crap. I need to go first thing to EB tomorrow and see if they have it, I've actually wanted it for quite some time. Hell, even if its 5 or 10 dollars I'll be stoked.
 
Picked up a used copy of Juarez, last new copy for 1 cent was sold a few minutes before I got to EB. (Dixie mall location, Mississuaga)
 
There used to be one in the mall in town, but then the recently transformed it into a GS. I checked the locater, and there is no eb games within 100 miles.
 
EB and GameStop are one and the same. The deals are the same, the company is the same, etc. I believe the plan is for all EBs in Canada to eventually become GameStops -- of course, this just means changing the signs.
 
0.99 cents =/= 99 cents. It says 99 cents on the receipt... where are you getting this "1 cent" business?

Anyways, I rented Call of Juarez and the stealth sections are pretty mediocre. I gave up on it halfway through, and I'm not sure I'd waste my time on it again even if you gave it to me free. But if I see it for 0.99 at an EB, I might still pick it up just for the kitsch value.
 
I'm glad the EB I frequent are knowledgeable gamers and like to have conversations about gaming.
 
I was just looking on eBay randomly for games, I was saddened by the amount of hoarders selling. Seemed like every other game was one from this sale. My haul has been 1 copy of Trauma Center, guess I missed out on Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles...
 
any one know of anything happening tomorrow, got superswing 2 (not liking it so much as i thought i would) and geometry wars.

both are available for like 24.99-29.99 at bbv used, so probably have a 12-15 TIV there, but i got some nice finds there...

for 7.99 i got cod2, dk barrel, pgr4 (so 16$ for 3 games)
for 24.99 i got conflict denied ops (filler), mass effect and LEGO INDY JONES WTF, it wasnt preplayed but had a red sticker on it, the girl didn't notice and i didn't say anything but it was bought on my account so someone is going to notice and get yelled at, heh

will post some prices as i noticed in the BBV Wii price thread.

Um, if theres nobody your getting it from, there are like 8 copies at my EB, so if you want the next time I go in I can pick you up a copy (should be going tomorrow or Tuesday, but it might not be on sale then...)

I dropped by today nothing new.
I'm still waiting for Assassins Creed to drop too. One clerk I talked to said the pile in the back of the store is 1/2 his 6 foot height.
 
There are never price changes on monday at eb. no one is in the office on the weekend to set up price changes. only price changes are tues to sat. check tomorrow to see what is new on the sale.

the reason for the stock of assassins creeds for 360 is because its being given away along with a 25$ gift card with the purchase of the Elite Model 360 for limited time. I dont think the 25$ gift card addition is shown in the flyer but that deal is going on.
 
I hope for Assassin's Creed but for PS3 (no X360 for me)... I played through the game when I rented it, but for 10$ I would play it again.
 
Just stopped by the Bayshore location and it looks like they're all out of NiGHTS and Geometry Wars.

Wasn't on sale or anything, but I picked up a used copy House of the Dead 2+3 for $15. It's probably the last Wii game I'll get to buff up my sister's collection unless Super Smash Bros Brawl, Okami, Mario Strikers Charged, or Boom Blox drop down in price before the end of the sale. It feels good to not have to worry about her come Christmas time. One down, a gazillion more to go...

BUZZ! versions for the PS2 are $10 (these include those buzzer things).

As for Boom Blox, it was red tagged when it came out (don't know why) but I think it had a $39 price tag on it, I can't remember.
 
Got a copy of Geometry Wars, tho while gutted, you can't beat 10 bucks.

Now short of something amazing, I think I'm done for these 10 dollar deals ... I'm running short of funds. :(

Okay, so I swung by an EB and I picked up PS2 Buzz Junior: Jungle Party + Buzzers for a red sticker $9.89. I think they had one copy of Regular Buzz + Buzzers, but it was $40 or something.

I don't know if this "Junior: Jungle Party" thing is gonna do it for me, though. I'm not 6 years old anymore...

It has been $7.99 at BBV since the huge PS2 games pricedown.

Regular was $49.99, and it was on sale for a couple days last week.
 
Picked up Geometry Wars Wii, but wanted Donkey Barrel Blast more :(..I thought it was on sale at EB , but I guess I confused the BBV sale with the EB Sale. I saw the Buzz Junior game on sale, but passed on it, as I don't have any kids and the games are way to simple to have fun with. I prefer the Buzz "Adult" version and will wait for a price drop on that.
