Good deal on the Jungle Beat bundle (though it's questionable whether there will be any left), Guild Wars, Bully, and MKA. Pretty mediocre otherwise.
 
I hope this does not mean they are going to stockpile Wii's until after Xmas.

I was hopeing to go Xmas eve and try and get one at open if there was any chance they would have any in stock.

I was 5th in line for a store that ended up having only 4 so I really want to get one before Xmas for the holidays with family.
 
There are a few tempting offers there, but the EBGS around here suck. I'd bet that I wouldn't be able to find any of the games I want without them being 'open but new' stock. The thought of paying new prices for something that has been played by employees or in-store seems a bit ridiculous.

Plus last time I went in to a GS to buy a copy of EEE for PSP the guy gave me a weird look when I asked if they had any sealed copies behind the counter and refused to buy the open in-store copy with the sunfaded cover. Like nobody ever asks that question and I'm some kind of 'tard. Nice.

I just bought Fire Emblem yesterday for $15 at Sears. And DK: JB, BW, and both CR will most likely not be left after Christmas because they are on sale this week. Are we sure about these prices and the fact it's not part of the 1 Day sale?

If this already hasn't been mentioned, if anyone has an existing warranty at GS with their 360, you might be able to cash in on your warranty and get GRAW and another year for free.

YMMV, I'm sure some stores won't let you do it (I did it with Call of Duty 2 and the warranty recently) but worth a shot if you have to renew it soon.

I really hope the $10 DK Jungle Beat + Controller are still available after the $15 sale of pre-Christmas. I just can't bring myself to buy one when there is a $5 drop days away.
 
Yeah my main concern is there won't be any available at that price. I'm hoping I can buy them for $15 now, and have them adjust the price to $10 a few days later but guinaevere thinks its a no.

I'm psyched about the Warcraft 3 and Diablo battlechest deals. I went through a long period of not owning a computer and was forced to miss both Diablo 2 and WC3, since July (when I finally got a computer again) those damn compilations have been teasing me. I just need to find Warcraft 2 and I can party like it's 1996 all over again.

I just went back to my local Gamestop where I had purchased one of the wall skins for my son for Christmas when they were still $19.99 and got them to credit me back the $10 difference to the current $9.99 price. There weren't any issues. But if he gave me any static I was just going to return it and rebuy it... but no need it went well.

So I picked up Jungle Beat and the extra bongos for $14.99 as well as Donkey Konga 2 for $14.99 ... looks like I'll be going back in to PM Jungle Beat when it goes on sale... and maybe pick up Fire Emblem

lol. I love how GS/EB prints up this whole 5 page advert just to announce that they're selling a whole bunch of games at list price. Do they think that they're going to snare anybody with this? As in people who didn't know Sonic 360 was $60 or whatever.

In all five pages of this, the gamecube games are the only actuall "deals" here.

I see your point but the Sonic does come with a free bonus so its not that bad. Eragon is funny but I think that is in there to be an ad for the movie as well. Half the ad is all Normal Prices but The GCN, X360 and PC are the only worth any time.

Just an Off topic topic question, Anyone know if the day after Christmas is called anything? I mean I think I going to have to return 2 gifts since I got just brought them (which I'm not suppose to know). Just thinking that its going to be like Black Friday but everyone is waiting in the return line.

Try it could work. The system could just bump the trade to 80$ for both. Also on the ad does not state that there is a limit. If you want to make sure just ask the people that work there because they did run this deal before.

I'm glad I held out for this. Too bad there isn't any game trade in deals going on..would be A LOT easier on my wallet. I knew there was one recently, but I didn't expect this deal to come.

A little off topic but does anyone know if I sign up for the GameStop Edge card if the +30% trade in + 10% stacks with the trade in of an xbox system?

I'm thinking that it would. If so would it be 99.40 trade in (80.00+24.00 [30% of 80]+10.40 [10% of 104]-15.00 cost of card)
 
Shoot, not to rain on anyone's parade, but I can remember when EB used to do actual deals after christmas... Hell last year alone we got some games that had been out less than a month at half price...
