I always try to have a list of 1.99 or less used games in order of preference to use for my saver shipping... sure is an easy way for me to bulk up my ps1 collection... I even get the games complete somtimes

I was pretty lucky to snag MP2, Zelda, and the f-zero GBA games before they went OOS
 
Thanks OP. I got to snag a copy of MP2 earlier today. I was thinking about getting Zelda Four Swords but I decided to hold off on it. Hopefully F-Zero will be in stock soon.

This is the second time that I've heard someone report SAVER not working with a used GBA game... perhaps it's a used GBA game thing? Strange.
 
Project Snowblind is $19.99 at gamestop.com as well. Could be a price drop (for those who missed out on the CC sale)

The price drops for MP2 and LOZ4S has become a daily event. It has been dropping to $15 around noon EST for the past couple of days. Hopefully this will go on for a while.
 
Oh boy! F-zero GP Legends back in stock at $29.99! Here we go with the cart reloading for the next couple of hours til it drops back to $4.99! I'm so nervous I'll lose out to an ebay hoarder again.

The price dropped on 13th and i wanted to know when/if it was going to back to the higher price, i dont think they reset it every day, they're probably going to hold it at that price for a certain amount of time but then put it back up, and i was wondering when that would be so i know how long i have.........assuming that stuff like metroid and 4 swords ever comes back in stock.
 
It's sold out two or three times now at $14.99, then when it comes back in stock it's $49.99. Until it drops again within a day or two to $14.99 again. It's been a cycle the last week. So your question is probably "when will it stop dropping to $14.99" and I don't think we have any idea.

I think I'm gonna go ahead and invest in Four Swords next time it drops, I figure I'll get a GBA from ebay or GS eventually, might as well get the cable and a game for pretty cheap.
 
Basically, like someone posted in either this thread or another one, EB supposedly has a "special" stock of games where they can sell a certain number of copies of the game at the low price and once that stock is gone, they "revert" back to their full price. So when I said it has become a daily event, I mean EB has been dropping prices on a lot of games recently and at random times. My philosophy is that this is EB's way of liquidating before they get completely swallowed by GS.

That would seem to be a logical assumption, but EBGames.com works differently from EBGames B&M (which is more like your explanation above).

EBGames.com has a surplus warehouse that is filled with thousands of titles, if not hundreds of thousands. Each day sales supervisors determine what games are in excess and decide to sell a certain amount of those games at an extreme loss - which results in our $5, $10, $15 madness.

With MP2 and LOZ:4S, EB has decided to post 100 copies of each at a time, let them sell out, and then determine if they can post 100 more the next day. Considering we have seen MP2 posted 3 or 4 times now it's a relatively safe bet that it, or both of these games, will be posted again. It's only a matter of when..... Keep clickin those quick links fellas.

Oh! and for those who are also interested, pure pinball and splashdown and some other "$4.99" games are in stock at $9.99 currently. If it's like yesterday, then these games will probably be OOS within a couple of minutes if they drop to $4.99 again.

The price has dropped before, not just on the 13th. I ordered my Metroid Prime 2 for 14.99 on the 12th.

I wish the Xbox games would hurry up and drop today. They had dropped by this time yesterday and I wanted to get a couple before I go to lunch today.
 
I learned my lesson, and after placing my order for the games I wanted and making sure the order went through, I'm glad to say that all the $14.99 games are back and so is F-zero GP Legend. :whistle2:D
 
EB is so slick too, though their used games are really high in value, MP2 and LOZ4S gets only $10 for trade in value each. So it's not even worth buying them just to trade them in. :razz:

If anyone could grab me copies of Gungriffon and Memorick, it would be appreciated.
 
F-Zero was back for $5 too. But as I was searching for another preowned game for the SAVER coupon, it went OOS. Seriously, it was about 2 or 3 minutes.

Go through check out and my gift card account is a bit short but after entering it all is still there . . . so I enter my cc for the rest and boom Fzero is gone . . . ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

If my gift card credit had been enough, I would have gotten it???

Got MP2 and Cartoon GBA with Fade to Black ($1.50 ac for shipping).

I learned my lesson yesterday. It was about the same timing as yesterday that it went OOS. I got my 2 copies though!! :razz: I was prepared, I found a PO game and had it in my cart so as soon as I saw the drop, I just entered CAG15 and SAVER and checked out. :applause: I can relax now, I have all the games I wanted from this weeks' price drops. Who knows what next week will hold! :bouncy:

I know how you feel about just missing it. But look at it this way, all this frustration will turn into elation when you get that email confirming your order for F-zero! I start to wonder if maybe I bought the only 2 copies. :razz:... I mean just going on the theory that EB gets limited surplus stock to sell every day. Seems like F-zero goes OOS a little too fast when it drops. :whistle2:s

I dunno, I think that it's because they have VERY limited stock when it drops to $4.99. Though I didn't want to waste time and see how many they had, I just ordered my 2. :D I guess I can check the stock tomorrow when it drops. :lol:
 
FYI the $4.99 Xbox games are back too, I just picked up Splashdown and Pure Pinball with a stupid sydney 2000 PS1 game since I already put an earlier order in for my F-zeros.

Picked up Gungriffon and Knight's Apprentice for you, Shipwreck, with a copy of Gungriffon for myself (which I swore I wouldn't do, though I did a WTF) and Shadow Vault.
 
Anyone else here running out of decent PO games to use SAVER and CAG15 on? :lol: with all the price drops on EB as of late, I'm stocking up on Wipeout 3 and other garbage PS1 games. :roll: I'm looking and it doesn't seem even worth it to try and hoc the PO games on ebay even. Coasters? :whistle2:k

Um... yeh... :whistle2:\" There's nothing else to use CAG15 and SAVER on anymore... sometimes I'm tempted to just click through and pay $2 for the stupid shipping to avoid the hassle of spending time looking for a PO game I might want. My sad new routine is that everytime I put an order in now, I immediately go looking for a PO game and add it to my cart in case another deal pops up soon. :neutral:
