Did you try unplugging it?

i just started it and turned it off quickly before the screen saying it couldn't download popped up, all I can say is make sure you turn it off as quick as you can and that I used the X on the controller (holding it down) instead of the button on the front of the console if that makes a difference.

Completely agree. Fantastic game & a really interesting story.

It's pretty impressive when you know that one dude was behind it, not a team like usual.

Sorry, but are we talking about From Dust or Dust: An Elysian Tail?

So here's my haul since BF:

BF only sale
ME 3: Leviathan
Daytona USA
Rock Band Blitz
Forza Horizon Oct. car pack
LFD 2: Cold Stream

Full price purchases
Rock Band 3 (yea that was a $10 screwup)
Rock Band 2 song export
Dragonborn for Skyrim
Deck Packs 1/2 for Magic 2013

THQ sale
Metro 2033
Saints Row 2 DLC

Holiday sale
Bully
Fez
Mark of the Ninja
Dust: An Elysian Tale
Hydro Thunder

All from the Target BF points (bought 5 cards) Had to buy 800 points from Gamestop to cover Hydro Thunder and the remaining balance of Dust. Found an unused 240 point code in a used copy of Dance Central 1 at Gamestop also.
So can we close this thread now? Pretty misleading, there's no "ENORMOUS sale next week"
It will be moved to the deal graveyard

But thanks

Thanks WV Matsui for making this thread a few weeks ago. It was my go-to XBLA sales guide for the past 2 weeks. Hats off to you, my friend.:applause:

I hope everyone enjoys their new XBLA backlog :)

The game is really fun to play, and the art is fantastic from a technical stand point, but I couldn't stomach the story and the art style looks like it's directed towards furries. The combat system is really impressive at first before you realize how one note it is. Combo based battle systems like this just get repetitive.

The game is absolutely impressive seeing that one person was behind it and it's better than most live games with a team behind it, but by the time you get to the end of the game the initial wow factor starts to fade and you see all the faults in the game. 7.5/10, but you can't beat it for $7.50. The most fun I've had with any XBLA game this year.
