Yeah, you've got other options that are good plays. I've had to play the guy for the past few weeks because my WR corp is awful. Robinson, Bennett, Rice, DJAX, and V.Brown are my choices.
With Houston's commitment to running the ball, Leinart at QB, and Johnson coming back I wonder if I should make a different choice at TE? O.Daniels has been my main guy but he's done next to nothing for the past several weeks. Other options are Celek, Ballard, or Gresham.
I'd like to endorse Ballard again, but after last week, I don't know. The matchups are right for shootouts (@NO, GB, @Dal) and he's still a favorite target of Eli's, but he couldn't catch the ball at all last week against Philadelphia. Gresham isn't bad, a bit inconsistent, but better than I've given him credit for this season. Celek falls into the same category, although I like him a bit less than Gresham.
Given the matchups, I'd probably put my faith in them in this order: Daniels, Celek, Gresham (invert Celek/Gresham if your league is TD heavy), Ballard. Daniels is my top option because Andre Johnson is back this week. AJ just being on the field should mean Daniels will be open, and if Leinart likes looking to Daniels, he should have a nice day. Daniels' best games occurred when AJ was playing and in the week immediately following the injury, so it's reasonable to assume that Daniels will bounce back unless Leinart won't throw to him at all. I still feel that Ballard should be a reliable TE1, but I'd give him a rest this week to see if he rebounds to ensure that last week was just a fluke.
