I hope I get to battle you guys. The last clan we beat is now defunct so we need a new rival. :)
 
Knights of the Round Princess is a much better name in my opinion.
Also for a team theme goes we should make our clan color all purple to signify the union between teams Red and Blue .

Haha. Great reason to neutralize the colors. So we shall have purple skin with beards? Maybe our eye color or hair color can represent our former teams: Red for Commies and Blue for Smurfs.

This Sunday I will be opening the IRC at 4 pm pdt so that we can discuss strategies and assign roles based on our personal strengths. Freaky and team Red: How do you think we've been winning every single New Pork City? We planned that shit a day in advance. :p

It's just a name. It doesn't matter all that much. We can be called the London Silly Nannies for all I care. Moving on.

Can we just simplify this?

We won't always be blue or red so swapping hair/eye/skin colors based on what team we are is kinda .. umm .. pointless and borderline retarded. Just pick one color and we'll all go along with it.

Roles are fine and dandy, but if I get back from NY to find out i'm chopping wood for 2 hours every Wednesday and Sunday ... :bomb: lol

I kinda liked Clockwork's idea of the purple. It suits quite well as it is generally associated with royalty and nobility.

I created a blue clan group. the irony is that social groups are so hidden and unknown that even now it's still the latest created group. I gave Kandal an icon so he could create one for red but i guess it never happened.

Really though, the majority of us have mics, so while we can do a general outline of what people should do per game, I think we should do fine as long as we keep each other informed of what's going on. I think for the most part we know what and what not to upgrade first to last depending on the map.

And yes, let's not make our team theme too complicated, I get confused enough when a bunch of dudes pile up together and they look different. I'll be lost as all get out when we all look the same.

To try and prevent confusion like this we could just have everyone make their colors purple but have different hair/beards.
 
I finally got my internet connection to work again after a power outage. :bomb:

Purple bodies and whatever color beards. Sounds good.

I personally think we will get slaughtered on the first clan night if we don't do a per level discussion (hence the earlier irc). Rushers coordinate in groups and when both sides are rushing, whoever has the bigger and better party will have the advantage. For those CAG Smashers who remember, I don't wanna be Smogon'd again. :whistle2:(

As for my somewhat mean-spirited comments, it's all for kicks and giggles. Maybe I should throw a ;) every time I joke around.

I have played lots of games with blackshinobi but I have a weird glitch where I can never talk to him and he can never talk to me.

Regardless he's a great player.
 
Okay, I cleaned up the OP. I'm archiving Red vs. Blue info in case anyone needs to see it again. Before I delete several PSN IDs, I need y'all to help me confirm that the ones in orange have been inactive for a long time (i.e. are not on Red or Blue and have not played or posted here for > 1 month).

I also happened to throw in some nicknames/titles for each of the knighted. Tell me if you want to be called something else because I just made those up. :lol:

Wolfkin, do you mind sending social group invites to the Red members? We need to keep our secrets hidden in a private thread. ;) Someone mentioned it earlier but I do not mind posting "minutes" regarding general strategies per level after Sunday's CAG Night.

So I've posted separate threads for each level along with map pictures. I posted strategies for 3 different levels. Critique 'em and see if any noticeable flaws exist. :D

Not sure if I'll be able to make it to tomorrow's game. My family is having an early Thanksgiving tomorrow, so I doubt I'll be home/awake to join in. It all depends on what time we get back home.
 
I won't be playing today as well, my brother & his wife took a trip out of the state & I'm watching the kids all weekend.

Good games to everyone who showed up, particularly Clockwork and Wotcher. It was very difficult to implement The Plan if we only have 3 people. :bomb:

I'll change the OP title into something more catchy. Hopefully, that will generate some dedicated newcomers. :pray:

There was an issue with matchmaking I think. I left to try it out but my PS3 froze after not being able to connect a few times. I could get onto friends matches but using jump in didn't work.

The maps are in our private social group. Do you want to become knighted and join our clan? If so, I'll ask Wolfkin to send you an invite. Two clans are particularly interested in facing us and we need to assemble a worthy army beforehand.

StarKat, we had some connection issues tonight but we eventually figured it out. This shouldn't happen again next time.

what time did it happen? i was up and waiting but i crashed. sandman got me.on the plus side i woke up at 3am and had nothing to do for a 6 hours.
 
I'm going to go on record and say that after last night, I have never in my life wanted to smack a child so hard. The worst part about it, he was on blue -- we should have never had to endure listening to him if it wasn't for the chat glitch. :bomb:
 
totally apollo. Chibi some kid on the blue team (CAGs on Red) kept talking in his high pitched (unmodulated) annoying voice about stupid things that voice griefers talk about. Random stuff "OH look there's a red guy. I'm gonna go kill the red guy" "You're on the red team you're the enemy"

The worst part is normally when you hear cross team chat it lasts at most for the round and then problem is solved next round but it kept going and going and going. We're start a new map and we're still hearing this kid. Luckily he left eventually but not before hurting us all in ways that leave auditory scars. I can't unhear his stupidity.
