As an impromptu "bootcamp" I will be hosting a private game tonight @ 5 pm pst to show you some glitches I've learned over the past 2 days playing with Kings. Some of these glitches are game-changing. Anyways, I'm in the irc right now so feel free to join if you'd like.
 
After simulating some clan-like matches against some Kings, I think I'm gonna redraw every single map. :lol:

It is somewhat now imperative that you show up on Saturday. Ask Clockwork, Dmunkee, Chibi, or Rowmeoh. This ain't gonna look pretty if we don't have every single individual on the same page. :whistle2:(

I haven't been able to go online with my ps3 the last three days due to "network error." Hopefully, it will fix itself by Sunday. It usually fixes itself. I don't know how or why.
 
Black Forest, Great Gorge, and Deep Fried are ready. I just need to include videos to show you all some important tricks. ;)

Sorry! You disappeared for a while and I kinda stopped playing it. I think I may have even sold it, don't even know anymore with all the games I have. :(

My first foray into hosting was Smash. I had so much fun with it - along with Mana Knight's well-organized CAG Nights thread - that I decided to host a few other games including SSF2THDR and Buzz. Now it's Fat Princess. I usually only host 1 game at a time though, maybe 2 but it becomes quite difficult.

Just a shout out to all my Smashers: Prepare for a 2-year 2010 February/March-ish tournament in celebration of our longevity! I already have a well-planned 'gimmick' in mind. :bouncy:

Okay, I've decided to create map strategies through videos now. I'm sick and tired of redrawing them and it's much easier just to talk and play. I've done videos for both Alpha and Beta for 4 levels already (Great Gorge, Rocky Road, Deep Fried, Sugar Cove). I'll post them in our "Preparing for Clan Matches: An In-Depth Discussion on Clan Strategies." Expect a few more levels before late afternoon.

CAGs: We did a wonderful job today in our clan matches. Even though we lost 0-2, there was so much chemistry between all of us on our very first clan-vs-clan match. The matches were all very long and we ALMOST had Great Gorge. Losing Dmunkee hurt really bad. :whistle2:( All in all, I commend everyone's valiant efforts as team players. :bow:

Raxo: Thanks for organizing the match after all. We started playing at 4:30 and finally finished around 8:30. Hence the lack of clan games. On a side note, Mortal Portal can be quite arrogant. He was talking to us on Black Forest. :p
 
Aw, sorry I had to drop out, just when things were getting good :cry:

Even though the Broc's took tonight's games they certainly weren't cakewalks (that's clockwork and I's job :lol:)
Definitely had a blast playing with everyone tonight, both for the clan games and our practice games.

I've also learned something new. Nothing stops the ranger rush! :applause:
 
I apologize very much for keeping you waiting. I came home from work fully expecting this to be set up only to have us in shambles. So candybrat and I had to take on leader roles we're not normally accustomed. So sorry.

Great games though. You guys had had some great teamwork going on. I thought it was great. You guys gave us a run for our money. We had a great time battling you guys. I know you can beat some of the other clans out there!

P.S Our team was kinda complaining about not having time to prepare but that was wholly our fault.

congrats. i tried three separate times to log onto psn today but got the dreaded cant connect due to dns errors.

No, that was all due to evergoo's master planning. :lol:

Would have been nice to get in. The next time, tell them to be better organized and get some numbers. 5 players just doesn't cut it. :cry:

Role call for next Sunday (12/13)? We'll try to get a much bigger game (8-on-8+) In the meantime, I'll challenge another clan since I myself was unimpressed by Broccoli's organization. I had to do some last minute scrambling to see if we were going to even play.
 
The guy who organized it did a terrible job and then suddenly left us hanging. Usually we are much more organized. Hopefully next time (if there is a next time) we'll be better organized. I had to do a lot of scrambling as well.

Again many apologies.

Also 6v6 was really fun. It required a god amount of strategy to complete. In my opinion 10v10 is the best.

16v16 is a chaotic mess but fun.
 
I have scheduled a match with Jasmine, leader of The Undead, on Saturday December 19th at 6 pm pst. Who's up for some cake? We need about 10 CAGs. Please reply by Tuesday, December 15th.

This Sunday we can just do Red vs. Blue or do Alpha vs. Bravo. It's up to you all. :D

Today's lesson: only 1-2 Bay Area CAGs can play in 1 game. Oemor, you got fucked. :lol:

I swear, it felt like there were only 4 of us on that entire team. Seemed like everyone else was just doing whatever they wanted. Granted we were the only ones with mics, but you figure someone would catch on to our general strategies.

We'll have warmups at 5 pm pst since the clan match won't happen until 6 pm. Clan irc will happen at 4:30 like usual. Based on what we learned from our matchup against Team Broccoli, I will update most of my videos with annotations while also adding new videos. Expect those to be available by Thursday.

Freaky, what's the prognosis on your PS3?
 
I am sad, I never get to play with you guys anymore. I have seen many of you around at the ungodly hours I get to play the game in my team and against me, and I have been impressed how well you guys always play. All of you are top notch.

When I try to play I end up in these 6-8 player matches maybe 12 if I'm lucky. I'll play for maybe 6-7 rounds and still we never get near full.
