FGT XX isn't as good as Guilty Gear XX

Looking at Rolento. I didn't like how he felt in the first build, but I'm hoping he'll be better in the final.

Other than that I don't really know. I know it has to be a weird/ugly character, since that is apparently my style of character choice.

Maybe somebody here can help me out with a question. I'm looking at buying my first fightstick tomorrow or Thursday and am trying to debate between the Sanwa JLF and the Seimitsu LS-32.

Myself, I tend to play 3D fighters a lot more than 2D fighters. If I played 2D fighters, it would appear the choice would be Seimitsu if only because of the round restrictor plate. But being a 3D fighter, I'm thinking the octagonal restrictor plate would perhaps be better.

But here's where I'm confused. Unless I have the two mixed up, it appears that the Seimitsu has less deadzone than the Sanwa. But yet, a lot of things I've read seem to point out that the Sanwa is better when it comes to fighters. But if the Sanwa has more deadzone, then I'm not sure I understand why that is.
 
if you're buying your first, the difference between the two is so small that you'll really be fine with either of them. i'd say that nearly all of the best players really don't care.

all of japan plays with square restrictor plates, i don't think round or octagon will make you any better.

the only genre where i could think it might possibly matter is shmups, if only because the best shmup players will only play in a specific arcade and they all have seimitsus. but again, those people are REALLY good, and them on a sanwa is better than an average player on a seimitsu.

I was thinking of grabbing that 30 dollar one at gamestop, I'm not looking for anything for tournies or any shit like that, just to have fun. Plus that one is interchangeable, so you can buy your own parts for it.

Well, I just put down some cash on the 360 CE of SFxT. I'm honestly debating even bothering if they're gonna screw everyone over like with MvC3 and such. All ready pisses me off about the extra PS3 characters and Vita. Guess the 360 gets screwed over...

Leaks and common sense dictate all of these characters will be DLC. I honestly cannot see Capcom creating 12 characters solely for the Vita version, lol.

Well hopefully you can get them at a per character basis and not have to download the whole pack. :p

Same one I was looking at actually. Have to make some calls before I head out as the closest stores with it in stock are roughly 30 minutes away (on opposite sides of me).

Been awhile since I've had the chance to play though due to work. Anyone wanna play tonight around 9:30 EST to help me shake the rust off (and get closer to that 100 online matches achievement)? On 360.
 
Went to trade in a few games at GS earlier to put towards SFxT. Evidently, the guy entered my disc only copy of MvC3 as UMvC3...oh well...makes up for the several times they've screwed me over I guess

I tried to buy Lumines at gamestop over the weekend.

the darn pspita isnt even out yet and they already trying to sell me a gutted copy!!

Stop being a wimp and get a fighter on 360 for a change. Chicken wuss!

Also, no dream required. One of us pays for the room (me or smalls or jekki) and then we reimburse that person either via Paypal or with cash when we meet up in Vegas. Then we meet up with the other FGT guys (heavyD, axc, whoever else) and play games, drink, gamble, party, eat hella food etc..

My girlfriend talked to me the other day about getting our EVO trip booked soon, since those week of 4th of July prices will kick in eventually. Gotta wait and see if she can get the time off work though.
