I'm up for UMK whenever, love that game. and I was pretty into GGPO for awhile, as were a lot of cats in here. I haven't played lately though.

Ooooh, I never played UMK3 online. Is the netcode good? Are there lobbies? I own the damned game but never played online. I just wanna know if it's worth booting up the 360 again for UMK3.

It's not bad, but some lag can throw off some combos (mainly infinites). The times Foley and I would throw down back when it was out we had good times, but again I never really won.
 
When I read the newbie forum I always hear people complain about how they got a stick and have been playing for a while and they suck with it.

Today I popped in SF AE and messed around in 3S.
Oh man.
It's so much harder to do moves. I can't hit-confirm Ken's SA3 at all.

Makes me wonder how people CAN'T do moves in SF4.

Thanks everyone, I appreciate it. We named her Yuna Ceres Patton. The Japanese characters my wife picked out for her first name was "Freedom" (Yu) and "Summer." (Na). The middle name was my choice. And no, she wasn't named after the FFX character.

We wanted a non traditional, simple Japanese name, but also something that's easy to pronounce in English.

I got some stress relieving matches of SSFIV in last night and did pretty well with Hakan. Little Yuna was hanging out with me while I let my wife get some well deserved rest. It's amazing what baby power will do to your Street Fighter skillz.

Here's a boring true story.

I know one girl who is going to Evo with some of her friends. I've talked to her online for several years on and off, nothing serious at all. I haven't met her IRL either although we've apparently crossed paths at AX.

I saw Markman's Twitter/Facebook asking for female greeters for the MC booth so I asked her but she politely declined. And by politely declined she said, "I don't want to be so obviously drunk in front of anyone."

And so I asked her about her friends that were going... turns out one of them is actually AndyOCR and that she's known him since middle school.

Wow, what a crazy world.

She's alright, I guess. I wouldn't really know because I haven't met her in real life despite how often we've been at the same events.

speaking of UMK3 (I'm late) I finally got around to re-re-unlocking the characters on the replacement Xbox I got a few months ago. The hoops you need to jump through to avoid accidentally erasing them are even crazier now! You gotta start the game while not signed in to a profile... press B when it asks you to sign in... select arcade mode... start a game and THEN sign in. After that you can play online and the characters will all still be there. PITA!!!

I'm down as long as I don't miss Blip Festival 2010 in NYC which is like mid december.
