Mordecai, Ranulf and Lethe were the ones I was really hoping to see, along with Tibarn. I am really regretting spending a lot of orbs on the NY banner now. All of the units seem good but I think I’m most interested in Tibarn and Nailah.

Seeing these characters makes me want to play RD again, but that would require digging out and hooking up the wii or Wii U.
 
I'm just going to do several 15 orb pulls on the NY banner with the golden tickets.  Rates suck and you gotta maximize your returns. 

Sturdy Impact is hilarious though.

Well, I got up around 4% when I got a 5* Lene.

No, that's sadly not a typo; I got the red sword dancer. I'd be more excited about it if it wasn't my 11th singer/dancer. I might give Safeguard to Laegjarn, though. That seems like it'd be a good fit.
 
Yeah, it's amazing how much regular dancers are a complete waste of a pity breaker now.   I have zero of the specialized dancers except PA Axura.  All of the other seasonal dancers are better than something like Lene. 

 
I've been playing around with Naesala (as he's the only beast I have) and I like how the beast mechanics work. It creates (mild) tension on decisions, or requires more planning on team building. For example, if you want 3 movement next turn, you can't heal him after he attacks (unless you repo the healer, or use Physic). Tactics and drives are good, hones and spurs are bad. They really did a good job of making them feel a bit different than normal heroes.

I only wish that they changed actual types (infantry->flyer) but I understand that with skill/terrain restrictions there's no way that would work cleanly.
 
Welp I just got my first beast and my first flying dancer in +atk -hp Reyson.  That should be nice to have.  If anyone gets demoted it would be him though since his kit is incomplete. 

But this happened the other day which was fun:

Two brand new units!  That's the best pity breaker I've gotten since the beginning of the game.  Best of all is that they both have great IVs too.  +def -spd Dorcas which is his 2nd best version, and +atk -hp Saber.  

I was just reading about Saber's refine and he can be a real badass if you want to invest in him with special spiral.  The funniest part is that these two units complement each other nicely.   Saber wants Infantry Pulse for 100% special uptime.  

 
I got Reyson and the GHB one.

I have so many dancers its not even funny. I have all the first Performing Dancers like Axura.

Also Bridal NInian and Legendary Azura. So many dancers.

But Ninian regular is my fav

I've been holding off on this project for several months.  Part of that was consideration for all of the other powerful green armors.  But I've never made a wall character and I need some merged units.  That extra DC I was saving in my back pocket is now gone.  Who knows exactly when I'll get another one.  At least it's on several units now.  I also had to sacc one of my two W!Tharjas whom also had a raurblade+.  At least I held off from merging her.  Vengeful Fighter is VERY rare too.  I only have two of the five units whom have it:  one Tharja and one Grima.  If Sheena gets initiated on and doubled, she will return fire with Aether in the same combat.  She should be pretty great once she gets a couple more stat points from SS.  I just need two more copies of her now which shouldn't take long.

Well, it cost me all of my orbs (insert Thanos meme here) but I finally got a Nailah off the beast banner. Her IVs are bad (+hp/-atk) but it's not like her attack is big to begin with.

On a side note, I think it's a shame that none of the character portrait art has any of the laguz in their beast forms. But, I suppose the dragons don't either.
 
I think I wanna +10 Zephiel next.   Really like his character  and sprite in FE:H and you don't tend to see him a whole lot. 

Need more DC fodder.

Cool banner.  I can't deal with all the uproar it's causing.  People are insane.  If they held any true convictions then they'd actually quit the game instead. 

Personally I'm saving for the Mythic Banner on the 29th.  I'm up to 26 orbs already!

I usually ignore Arena until the last few days, but I actually played a bit today.

I've never had my results be as map dependent as the ones today with Nailah. If I can get her transformed and get the full 3 unit nearby bonus, she's fine. If not (like on the lava map) oof.
 
that's awesome you got a Nailah.  She's such a unique unit.  But I dunno about -atk; her attack is already low to begin with.   Not sure how viable she really is in the one-shot arena. 

 
Yeah, she's not really effective. My favorite so far has been failing to kill green armors with 11 hp. :D

But, I lounge around tiers 17 and 18 anyway. Besides, my only other options are Naesala (might swap him in), Anna, and a 4* Beruka.
 
I don’t care for this Hostile Springs banner at all. IMO, monthly seasonal banners is just too much. I need to start saving orbs again anyway, so I’m glad I don’t have any interest in these alts.
 
Monthly seasonal banners are cool you just gotta ignore them as often as possible when there are other banners with better %s.  I generally don't save orbs either though except a week or so before the legendary banner reveal. 

The new ticket system has been awesome.   It beefs up your returns to that of leg. banners when you use a ticket and pull full circles. 

I had no problem doing about 7 full pulls on New Years and 7 full pulls on the beasts.  It worked out really well.  I've gotten several new units this month even though most of them weren't foci. 

 
CYL3 midpoint voting results remind me once again how different I apparently am from the majority of fans. My favorites are nowhere to be seen, and the top ten is littered with characters that have 1 or more alts already.

I agree 100%. I can’t grasp why people would want more alts instead of more unique characters.
 
Got an Elise today with some Tempest orbs. I don't know why I didn't realize this until I saw someone had given the duck to Legault, but the bucket of ducks is not part of the weapon.

I mean it's obvious when I think about it because it's in the other hand, but carrying one duck isn't as funny to me as a whole bucket of them. I probably won't fodder it off now.
 
It’s so hard to save orbs when every month there is an OP power creep. Duma looks like a colorless dragon Surtr. He’s going to be ridiculous in armor, dragon and beast teams.
 
Well the focus unit reveals for the mythic banner were kind of disappointing but I'll be pulling on it regardless.  I'm missing 8 of the 12 units again. 

You can't beat the returns from these banners and it would be cool to pull a Duma.  I highly recommend fat Tiki if you didn't get her last time.

Oh yeah, fat tiki is awesome. I run her and Surtr together and they are ridiculously strong.
 
Good FEH day for me today. 29 orbs got me a -hp/+atk Loki and a +atk Laegjarn. I'll probably merge my +def Laeg +2 into the new one. This will be the third boon/bane switch I've done :D

100 orbs got me TWO dancing Ryomas lol...

I was excited when I got +atk -def version of him on my second circle with many orbs to spare.  But you gotta wait to tally the results.  I spent every orb I had and that's all I received.

I used all 160 ftp orbs I had saved sniping for Duma and finally got 1 (+HP/-Spd). I also got Summer Linde and a 4* Reyson, so I’m pretty happy. I just hate pulling colorless because it’s mostly fodderless garbage.
 
CYL3 results are in.
1st place: Alm and Micaiah
2nd place: Eliwood and Camilla

Well, I guess I know who my free cyl unit will be this year. After all, my first one was Lyn and my second one Hector.

Edit: Oof. Mordecai couldn't even get a thousand votes. Brigand Boss had more votes.

Who the F$&@ wants MORE Camilla alts? I haven’t been able to pull a single Alm or Micaiah so I guess those would be my choice. I’m really disappointed in these results though. I was also voting for Mordecai.

Apparently slightly fewer people than those that want Micaiah and Anna, but more than those that want anyone else.
 
Good stuff from the 2nd Anniversary Feh Channel. Three free 5*s, daily BHB banners, maps and orbs, merge update goes live, AR update, and a new timekiller game mode.

I like that the new version of A Hero Rises is going to let people pick the one they want like CYL. That way they can look at all the heroes they're passing up on when they take the free Surtr for f2p guides.

I agree these are some great changes, especially in AR. The hard part is going to be deciding what color to pull on for the free 5*. Right now I’m leaning toward green. Honestly, I want some DC fodder more than any specific unit.
 
Well, I chose green and got Summer Adult Tiki +Atk/-Def. I didn’t have her before so I’m good with it. I also got my first Minerva with my free pull on her banner. I love the free pull on these daily banners!
 
I wanted to go colorless, but that wasn't an option. So I played Summer Leo Roulette and got a 2nd NY Camilla. I'm not sure who I'm going to give either Spd/Def Bond or the bamboo sword.
 
Can't say that I'm excited about the new announcements.  The last thing I wanted was another currency to grind.  It's cool we're getting a couple free 5* characters though.  But seeing as they're random, lots of people are going to be bitter about what they receive.

All the incoming orbs will be cool however.  It's nice being able to do lots of pulls.  One thing I have been thinking about for a long time is that they eventually HAVE to have a special event sometime this year in the form of a Legendary banner with 12 legendary units on it, don't you think?

Congrats! Xmas Robin is really good. I still use him pretty frequently with Surtr since he comes with Armor March.

I’m skipping the Valentines banner. I do feel like I could use a better red armor unit but Ike’s Res is so low. I’m hoping Red Myrrh wins the voting thing. She seems pretty awesome and cold mix her in with beast units.
 
nothing interesting for me lately.  no focus units.   But I did pull a +atk Ninian on one of these random daily banner freebies so that's really cool.   Now instead of two useless +HP Ninians I have a usable one that I can +2. 

The new banners aren't very enticing.  I usually do one full pull for 15 orbs though.  I'm constantly at zero orbs.  But I think I'm going to start saving until the next legendary banner.

AR is going nowhere.  You lose 60 to 80 points a day in T19+ in spite of winning many matches.  Everything I play against is WAY more heavily merged than I am, and they have the vital units which I'm missing.

I got a +hp/-res Val. Mist today. I was hoping for Greil, but I don't think I want to blow all my orbs on this banner trying to get him or Ike. I also got my first hit on the daily banners. I got a second Myrrh, so I can finally fix my -def one. :D

As for AR, here's my current defense setup.

Dang, I chose to go Red for the Year 2 banner hoping for anyone except Hrid or Gunnthra, but especially hoping to get H!Myrrh. Of course I pulled Hrid. I already have a better IV version but I suppose at least he has good fodder. I’m just not sure who I would give Hone Attack 4 to. Sucks that you don’t get dragon flowers when you get dupes.

Who did you guys get? Who are you hoping to get for the Vote banner?
 
I got my second Hrid as well, -atk just like my other one. I'm definitely going to hang on to him until the update to SI though. With 4 slots and some other units you can get Hone Atk 4, QR3, and his weapon+ out of one Hrid.

I'm glad we got the two free seasonals because free 5*s for SI is always great. But it is a bit disappointing that I got duplicates of NY Camilla and NY Hrid rather than units that I missed the first time.

As for the vote, I'm just hoping that a dud doesn't float in there from joke votes to ruin the random free unit.
 
I got my first Hrid lol.

Red was an easy choice because I was missing all but 1 or 2 of those characters.  

I actually pulled a +atk -res Mia from today's banner free pull!

 
So I did decently. I used my horse emblem team to go through all the paralogues that I hadn't done in forever and do the Infernal ones too. 

Saved up like 100 orbs cause I wanted Hearts Ike. Luckily I got him. Along the way, I got Brave Cecila and Laegjarn. Which is like cool.

For my free unit I got Beach Y Tiki, but I wanted Halloween Myrrh but whatever.

Also on the second free Ike banner I pulled a Elincia. So overall not bad and still have 45 orbs for banners of the future.

I also need DC and Bold Fighter for my Xmas Robin.

Debating if I wanna sack VDay Hector since I dont use him.

Thoughts?

 
I'm still in shock over what incredible inherits you can do with NY Hrid.   I think that one of his best uses is inheriting his Hone Attack 4 on Leg. Azura because that would allow her to buff units +7 to all stats.  Now I'm trying to decide what other sword units might want two pieces of his kit with weapon + QR3 + Hone Atk 4. 

I just realized that the weapon has two parts you'd have to inherit.

Yeah, the problem I have is that every sword user I care about has their own unique weapon already. Getting rid of a DC sword, Meisterschwert, or Dark Mystletainn takes away what makes those characters good. I am considering putting it on Fallen Celica. Zofia isn't THAT great, and it would give her chill atk, chill spd, and hone 4. Even still, I only use her on the blessing maps so that seems like a waste.

I've got until at least March to figure it out.
 
I have a Fallen Celica that I do not use, LOL.

MY hearts Ike is done and working on Xmas Robin. Just need to refine Slaying Lance, add DC and hope I get someone that has Bold Fighter to fill the B Slot. This TT is perfect for those too and farming SP.

 
What do you guys think of Greil? Is he worth getting my last bold fighter, or would he be good enough with QR and the Heavy Blade seal? For reference, I also have an Xmas Fae, Leg Hector, Val Hector, and Xmas Chrom.

In other news, I got a 5* Seth (who would I even inherit seal atk/def to?) and a 5* Nino. I couldn't bring myself to merge her into a 4*+10, so I decided to just bump my old one up.

In other other news, our vote heroes will be Halloween Myrrh, Duma, Leg Azura, and... Legendary Lyn? Well, I guess I know what my random free one will be now : /

I don’t have Greil, so I’ve never used him, but on paper he looks really good. Personally, I’d probably keep his base kit and save BF. I guess it depends on how often you plan to use him. I can’t really see using him over Surtr, although having armor march on him is awesome.

I can’t F’ing believe L!Lyn won...what a joke. I’m going to be PISSED if I pull her. I was really hoping to have a 50/50 shot at either H!Myrr or some DC fodder. I guess at least I still have a 25% chance of getting what i really want...
