Fire Emblem Heroes: Choose Your Legends!

I haven't done much with daggers. My Kagero runs Barb Shuriken/Threaten Defense/Glimmer(Moonbow) fairly well. I also liked the idea of red hot ducks on Legault (or now Camilla), but I'm not willing to sac my only Elise. But high spd daggers that are easier to +10 seem like they would be good with a consistent +7 damage.

Also, though it won't matter for Arena, I think the new pair up mechanic is going to be a place where daggers can really shine. Hit/debuff units with the dagger and then switch to a wall and let the now weaker units crash against it.

So saving until the next Leg. banner once again. It's the only way to go. With the occasional 15 orb summon round here and there.

In honor of the upcoming banner, here's the project I worked on tonight when I wasn't watching the game.

I just wanted to take a moment to say that with three looks at this banner so far, not a single red orb has even shown up.

Edit: It was looking like trouble, but my dry spell finally ended. I got a +def/-res (?) Lethe today. On the last set that started with the free tix.

I did end up sacrificing my only NY!Hrid to Leg.Azura and boy is she powerful.   Between her and SS Ophelia I am finally attempting and clearing abyssals with ease.  It took about 3 minutes total to finish all three Haar GHBs today. 

Caineghis looks like a lot of fun and I've already spent all my tickets sniping colorless orbs even though I was going to skip this banner.

Oh, and Yune is surprisingly powerful.  Even though she is -Atk.    She's much better than I thought she was going to be.  A lot of that has been inflated bonus stats from arena and AR though too.  But man is she fun to use.

After seeing all the skills and stats, I really want Caineghis and Mordecia. I think They’d work well together with Mordecai’s buffing skills.

This legendary banner isn't very good overall but Alm looks really fun, his artwork is incredible, and I'd love to have L!Roy as well. Might be dumping all 160+ orbs again. Colorless and reds only?

I don't think I'd do a heavy blade build; her atk isn't high enough.

Yeah, I'd probably just keep her stock for now with spd/def solo. Until better inheritance fodder comes along.

 
Yeah, this legendary banner is meh. I think I'm going try to stock pile most of my orbs for the next one.

It took like 5 minutes to level him.  I was getting +60 SP per kill.  It cost about 60 stamina 1-->40 lol.

 
I love legendary banners so much.  It's pretty much all I spend on anymore. 

This one is almost over.  Then I save my orbs and wait another ~20-ish days and there's a new one to pull on.

I agree 100%. Such better value than pulling on regular 3% banners. L!Alm and Eir will be on the July legendary banner together. I really want to save until then and get as many copies as possible. Unfortunately, I’m weak and have a hard time not spending orbs.
 
I've always been a sucker for seasonal units. Even though I know they'll all likely be on a legendary banner, that doesn't change my wanting to get them from their banners when they come out.

Speaking of which, what should I use in the A slot for Felicia (since I have no DC fodder)? Close def, Atk/def bond, brazen def/res, fury, or something else that's not overly premium.

Last pull for the week.  Actually no I'll prolly run chain challenges so maybe I can get one more in.  Got my favorite character to +3. Also was able to get rid of my attack flaw on Alm and now he's +Spd.  Awesome.

Hero King Marth is sooo cool though.  He's such an interesting unit, and currently my favorite unit in the game.  Even though I haven't used him that much yet.  If I could +10 any units in the game right now it would be L!Marth and F!Adrift Corrin.

A 16 mt slaying desperation weapon, a flashing blade that does an extra 5 dmg, and null follow up? Oof.

Also, Corrin's sprite looks like she's on a commercial for a COPD medication.

Sweet Titania dude. I've considered building her as well. Not many good green mergable horses and she fills the role of mage tank. Pairs well with Sigurd and 2 dps.

and by 2 dps I mean Reinhardt and B!Lyn

Wow she looks amazing. With that Res I’d definitely try to get DC for her, especially since she will hit back with physical damage. I need to figure out who to make my next project. I saw a Libra build on Reddit that looks ridiculous as well. Need a good Blue or Green high Res unit.
 
well I haven't managed to save any orbs for the Mythic banner.  *sigh*.  I spent ~150 orbs sniping colorless off the fallen banner because those units are too good, and so is the rate of return on colorless.   Once I hit 4.50% pity rate this happened:

+def -spd F!F!Corrin but she still rocks.   She is an amazing solo-oriented unit with the atk/spd solo plus the buff from the weapon.  She's a monster. Even with the speed bane she reaches 66/46/40/33 while fighting solo with no buffs, no seal.  Those kind of stats are unnatural.  Plus her thighs are wet.

Was super excited to pull a +def -hp Mordecai too.   But then I found out he is actually part of the 4-5* summon pool now, which I didn't know that he had been demoted.

He is going to be tempting to +10 with something like warding breath, sometime down the line.

Well Naga's sprite is absolutely gorgeous.  She will undoubtedly be a monster.  The other two blue units have Bold Fighter.  I'm missing all three red units.   Missing 9 of the 12 units overall, again, for the third banner in a row. 6 of the 12 units are legendary/mythic.

Another successful legendary banner.  :)  (just skip the swamp that is green)

She is beautiful. I love the way she kind of glows.

This banner is the opposite for me. There are only 3 units I dont have and they are all different colors. I really want Naga but I’m going to try to wait for her next banner. I’m trying to save for the July Legendary anyway when L!Alm and Eir will be there together. So far, I’m at 350 orbs.

The worst part about this banner is that I feel like the investment in my +9 Nowi is now wasted :(

I hear you. I've struggled hard with whether or not to build the OG dragons to +10. Could never quite pull the trigger to do it because none of them are PP oriented. Plus the prevalence of dragon effective weapons now.

There just aren't many 3-4* units that seem worth building at all. So I wouldn't feel bad if I were you, either.

 
The legendary banner begins anew~

Spent 90 orbs pulling reds and blues. Got 1 L!Erika, 1 L!Hrid, and 1 NY!Gunnthra. All with godawful flaws, but I ain't even complaining lol.

I love legendary banners so much.  (Sorry if you get sick of hearing that lol)  No Naga this time.  My rate blew up to 10.50% but then got broken by Brave Hector.  Then I yolo pulled with my final 5 orbs last night got another L!Eirika +spd -hp.  So that's an extra Atk/Spd Solo 3 and an extra Bold Fighter to play around with.   I think I might have to use my very first Bold Figther inherit on +atk -def H!Jakob.  He's been collecting dust for far too long.

I’ve been debating on building up a 3-4* dagger unit and looks like Saizo is the one. His refine is pretty ridiculous. I have enough feathers to get him to +8. I’m planning to use CC+Vantage, but I’m not sure what to use in the C slot. Any suggestions? Anyone else building him?

I think that Saizo and his refine is being supremely overrated right now, but I could be wrong. Time will tell.

Most good units don't require that kind of setup or double turns. His offensive stats were so poor to start with. He also can't tank mages even at +10 and 20 res. It's an inefficient unit that requires a lot of investment with 220k feathers and close counter, but then has to avoid most ranged (magic) attackers. I believe that his new refine merely brings him up to 'average'. But again, maybe I'm wrong.

Savage Blow (×2 w/ seal) might work, or one of the various wave skills. Wave skills are a bit unreliable, but I like them as a way to sneak in an extra partial A skill. Putting him on a team with Gunnthra seems like a good way to go too.

I was thinking about Kagero's refine, but I don't think it's going to work like I'd want it to. I can see the abilities not triggering when I want them, or triggering when I don't.

Yep I am building Kagero this week.  I usually take a couple of extra days to make sure I'm not going to regret spending all of those feathers.  I already have her at +3 from year one so it seems like a no brainer.  She has 56 attack at +10 and that's before the weapon proc or any skills which is very good for a dagger unit.  In fact, I'm working on some full solo full-colorless teams like her with F!F!Corrin. 

She seems pretty darn good right now with that PP 50% damage reduction.  I'd like to be able to use her with Vantage reliably but maybe Desperation is the only way to go.

Well here she is.  I'm still deciding what do with her a)skill. Hard stats are better for her weapon proc, but I want to get rid of the negative stats from L&D and her attack is high enough.

I wanted to build an Armorsmasher unit so I explored all types of axes and swords.  Soleil seems like the best candidate because she's 41/35 with an attack boon and still has the defense to make her a good frontline bruiser unit.

I've actually contemplated giving an armorsmasher to Masked Marth. Mostly because mine's already +7, non-armored dragon effectiveness isn't what it used to be, she'd be 50/52/40/28/24, and is currently taking up bench space.

As for an A skill for Kagero, as a wise Decapodian once said "Why not Fury?"

Yep, she should be a consideration as well.  Great because she was free for several merges.  Too bad you can't get a +atk asset but she has a solid stat line all around. 

You should do it. 

 
Well, it cost me my orbs (so expect a summer Titania and/or Laegjarn to be announced soon) but I got a Bridal Fjorm today.

Flying healer was the one movement type I was missing, and the ability to shut down a dancer is too unique to pass up.

I got lucky and pulled Bridal Fjorm on my free summon. She is awesome on AR Defense but not just because she can shut down a dancer. Ground Orders and a dual balm skill (I’m using Earthwater Balm+) make the team much more unpredictable. Tanks can now move multiple spaces around her and other allies, and she will start the teams movements before the enemy is able to force them to do so. They will often start the first round with some kind of debuff and she instantly removes it from an ally. If there is a dancer next to her, she will trigger Restore+

On top of all that she hits pretty hard. Congrats, you are going to enjoy using her!
