Fire Emblem Heroes: Choose Your Legends!

Holy cow the 2nd anniversary heroes banner is going to be insane.   I've saved up 85 orbs and I wish I had 100 more for the 24th, and then the legendary banner on the 26th.

Need Leg. Azura SO badly that I will likely have to skip the leg. banner and go for this other one instead.  Myrrh or Azura would be awesome! I'm so glad that those two won.  Just...Please don't give me Lyn,  Please don't give me Lyn (on the free pull).

In other news, I got a 5* Seth (who would I even inherit seal atk/def to?) and a 5* Nino. I couldn't bring myself to merge her into a 4*+10, so I decided to just bump my old one up.

In other other news, our vote heroes will be Halloween Myrrh, Duma, Leg Azura, and... Legendary Lyn? Well, I guess I know what my random free one will be now : /

Sure, Greil is way cool. It's just that the green armors are redundant. Everyone has at least a couple strong green armors. I don't need more of them. I haven't even been playing with Brave Ephraim much and he's awesome.

If you want to build Greil then sure go ahead. He has a fantastic stat line. I'd save Bold Fighter for the strong attack front line units like him that also have very strong def + res. He's an ideal candidate for a breath skill + Bold Fighter.

On the other hand, so is Grima, and he has adaptive damage. EDIT: oh, and Distant Counter.

Personally I'd be saving my Bold Fighter for whenever I get another Grima (that isn't +speed), H.Myrrh, or one of the top tier armors.

There are a TON of strong green units, and I think that units like Brave Ephraim, Grima, and Surtr, possibly even Leg.Hector set the bar highest in the green category. Those are your tier1 units. Greil is more of a Christmas Chrom. He's awesome and use him if you want. But you won't see a lot of him, bc there are more specialized units. Greil's weapon isn't anything special.

They keep adding these armor units to fool people. IS adds tons of powerful new units to the game every season and it doesn't change much of anything bc they are just more armors. They appeal to our senses. We all want to pull for them. Yeah, they are super powerful. But so are the other ones.

There are game-changing units and I feel like I can't really improve in AR without:

-Leg.Azura

-special spiral fodder.  1 for Ophelia, 1 for Lilina

-Leg. Lucina

-Veronica

-S.Micaiah.

The other way is to build a 6amor AR defense team with about 5 ward armors and 1 fort armor.   There are so many armor units with really high def AND res.  It's hard to take down a barricaded armor team in 7 turns now when people have multiple units like H.Myrrh with 40/32 defensive statline unbuffed.

I keep seeing these two types of teams.  Every once in awhile you see a split team with 3 beasts on one side.  They are all very hard to beat in 7 turns.  The specialized units in my list above are the hardest because they have such unpredictable movement when paired with a dancer or two.  You can easily lose 2-3 units in a single turn just by baiting where you think it's safe.  But if you want to go for 'no defense losses' I think a full armor turtle might be even better.

Yeah, I remember when I gave Halloween Jakob bold fighter/BB+ and thought "This guy is going to be a staple for awhile."

I can't tell you the last time I used him outside of my armor brigade.
 
Oh that's rigtht! Him too! I was originally going to save BF for +atk H.Jakob.

Anyways, yeah.  I think the answer is obvious now.  You don't spend resources on Greil like that.  Not to mention I am still yet to ever have a single extra Bold Fighter fodder unit.

Jakob is still definitely worth it but Brave Bow doesn't fit into armor turtle teams very well.

I am winning most of my defensive matchups but I still can't quite make it into T20.  FIve wins, three losses, a -60 and a -40 so far this week.  Here is my defensive map:

You do what you can.  I simply don't have all the most powerful units in the game anymore.

So the reason the L Lyn won was that some people did not know they could scroll over and look for heroes.

So she was the best hero so people chose her.

Any build tips for Legendary Azura? I have her but do not know what to do with her.

I also need a BF fodder for my Xmas Robin and he will be complete. Do not know what b Slot to use until I get one.

Was thinking a Link skill or something. Any suggestions.

I would love Veronica just to have a third healer in my arsenal. Wish she could be in a banner soon cause i got 86 orbs.

Side note: Anyone score a FE Three Houses SE? It sold out way too damn fast and i did not secure one and now I am mad as heck.

Trying to find one now. I have the SE for fates and really want this one since it has a steelbook.

If you know anyone hit me up. Thx

I don't think Azura needs much. Swift Sparrow or Fury for the A slot. I don't think the extra +1 to all is worth giving her Hone Atk 4 in the C. I'd stick with tactic for mixed teams, hone or fortify fliers for emblem team.

I don't like using premium (5*) skills as filler. I'd probably go with something like Desperation, renewal, or lancebreaker.

Sadly no. I've got the other special editions, but I think I'm at the point where spending $50 for the regular version is more appealing than buying the $100 ce. It's kind of a bummer, honestly :D
 
I have 3 of the Three Houses SE preordered from BB and 1 from Amazon. FE is my favorite series so I usually get 1 to keep sealed and 1 to play. I got screwed on my 2nd copy of Fates because BB cancelled it. When we get close to launch, if you guys haven’t secured a copy I can send you an extra.
 
I'm up to 116 orbs since I got my Hearts Ike and was happy.

I don't see any beast from this one that I really like so I'll just be happy with Penne from GHB and be happy.

Saving for other banners.

I guess I'll give him Desperation or something for now.

Hoping I can score an extra BF from a banner in the future and Veronica too.

 
Yeah, I can get by without any foxes. I want to spend my orbs on the Legendary Lyn Hates You banner anyway.

The kitsune buffs are pretty f'ing incredible though.  I'm imagining a team with L!Marth, Kaden, and L!Azura with the two of them giving +21 all stats to Marth. 

 
Well I have no self control so I spent too many orbs getting Velouria. She is really fun in a beast team with Naesala and Tiibarn both running Galeforce, and Reyson. Naesala is using the heavy blade seal and Tibarn is supporting with Velouria so they both Proc Galeforce on their first attack, then Reyson can dance them. I just need to find a good build for Velouria.
 
Legendary Roy is cool, Since Eliwood got CYL3 I think it's good that it wasn't him.

I got a Selkie the other day. She's +spd/-res, so their new IV fix is doing it's job; I want a second one. The Vote banner is still looming large though, so I'm in no rush. I also figured out why they made them cav units instead of infantry with 3 move as a beast. I went to equip flashing blade and went "oh... right."
 
I got lucky and pulled H!Myrrh and then Lewyn with my free pull on his banner. I’m going to give Velourie his Special Spiral.

Do you guys know how long it takes for a GHB to become available in the grail shop? I want to get some Naesalas to merge.
 
My free orb was Duma which was cool

Then spent 30 orbs on the banner trying to snipe Myrhh (saving other 100, to find out what's in the legend banner)

I got another Duma, Brave Roy and Leo ( my second and don't know what to do with him)

Happy about Brave Roy cause now I have all the first Brave Heroes.

So overall I'm happy.

Wow three 5 stars in 30 orbs? That’s awesome!

I’m definitely going all in on Red for this Legendary banner. It’s stacked!
 
With roughly 240 orbs sniping red I pulled 0 Roy, 1 Micaiah (terrible IV), 1 Surtr, 1 Green Corrin, and 7 Hrids! Now I kinda feel like I should try to +10 Hrid but would that be a huge waste of all that DC fodder?

That reminds me, I need an A skill for my HMyrrh. Is it worth 20k feathers to give her Sturdy Blow 2? It would basically be the equivalent of Swift Sparrow with her prf.

The only other decent option I have right now would probably be to burn Hrid for Atk/Def bond and hone atk 4.
 
I was going through my 5* units that I set aside for SI fodder and I noticed something. If I use 4* Naesalas from the grail exchange for swift sparrow 1, I can transfer both SS2 and these skills without spending any feathers:

Mage Eirika- Desperation 3 (and rally atk/spd with extra help)
Mage Mist - Res Feint 3
Katarina - Atk Ploy 3
Ishtar - Odd Atk Wave 3

Not so much with Eirika, but the other 3 seem like they would be a good way to go.

Those both seem too expensive for what you get in return, unless you have an abundance of feather or an extra Hríd.
 
Yeah, you're right. The difference between using Sturdy Blow and using either Armored or Death Blow is too small to burn 20k feathers on.

I do have an extra Hrid, but I'm definitely not using him for that now that we have Rutger on the way. He'll have Atk/Def Bond 3 at 4*.

I'm glad that I've decided to just settle in at tier 19 on AR. I'm getting tired of running into Legendary Azuras everywhere.

Edit: Ugh, I can't afford a Marisa alt AND a Veronica alt. I don't have that kind of orbs.

No rabbits for me. I think the most disappointing thing is that I'm at the point where even the Skill Inheritance I want are on 5*s.

The only thing I pulled that moved the needle even slightly was a Threaten atk and Oboro for Dragonflowers.

I’m skipping all the Easter banners. Im trying to only pull on banners with units that are unique or full a role that I really need. Plus I want to make sure I have enough orbs to get the new Mythic hero.

On another note, does anyone else feel like FEH is getting a bit stale? I am at T20 in AR and I don’t even feel like trying to get to T21. I’m content just staying here. Pretty much the same with Arena. I bounce between T19 and T20 but I’m not anywhere close to T21. I boycotted tap battles since they took away the orbs and I don’t care for it anyway. At least we have TT coming up, but I feel like we really need something new.
 
This game is finally back into my good graces.  I only amassed about 110 orbs since the last legendary banner though.  Granted, I haven't been playing it very much for the last month.  I even missed an arena week, a couple arena assault weeks, forgot to finish forging bonds on the last day, and almost dropped down a rank in AR last week lol. 

The lulls from getting no new units for 1-2 months at a time can really make you take a step back though.

It really sucks the fun out of the game when you go through strings of bad luck summoning. Nothing wrong with taking a little time away. Hopefully the law of averages means you are in for a hot streak soon.
 
I thought about this a bit. I still enjoy the game, but the biggest problem is that everything in the game comes back to the same 2 things; the grails and the gacha. So they quickly become the only reason to play the game.

Want to improve your favorite characters' stats? You play for orbs/grails. Or you can get dragon flowers, primarily through units from orbs.

New skills? Same

Want to improve your teams for AR/Arena? See above. And for me, it's not worth the loss of resources to hyper build units to move up a tier or two just for an extra orb and 2 grails every week.
 
I haven't even really looked into dragonflowers yet. Just saw that you can get more doing challenge maps for new-ish heroes and I haven't had any new heroes so.....lol.

In about 120 orbs pulling greens and blues I got:

-2 Lewyns

-H!Kagero

-Yune (-atk)

-and the finally with my last 20 orbs....Leg.Azura.

all have terrible assets and flaws, but I'm over the moon with those pulls. Finally got Azura and finally was able to give Special Spiral to +atk Ophelia.

I was curious, so I sorted my list of units by date obtained to see what my last 5* was. I also looked through past banners to see when I would have gotten it.

It was Dancer Micaih (from my one free pull on Legendary Roy) back on February 27th.

The bane doesn't matter at all if you are able to +1 the unit, no. The first merge gets rid of the bane. It's +3 to your bane stat, +1 hp, +1 highest stat.

 
So after watching a Kagero get thrown into the middle of my AR team and taking out almost every unit, I’ve decided I should build a strong dagger unit. Has anyone here built a good dagger unit? Any recommendations on who would be a good project and which dagger to use?
