Forget Zen Davis. It's now the "Vader Time" appreciation thread.

Devils' fans? If they think Devils' hockey is fun to watch, they must *love* Randy "Rest Hold" Orton's matches.

fucking ugh.
I know this is the wrestling thread but you have a problem with Devils' hockey? I love watching Devils games. Brodeur is a god amongst men.
I don't know Scorch, there's some kind of weird internet smear campaign against her claiming she's a fraud. http://forums.prowrestling.com/showthread.php?t=109847
That's a.) pretty fucked up, and b.) pretty fucking creepy.

Tho, I don't know her personally—but I'd believe her over some whackjob organization and douchebag YouTube commenters.

And I gave up that pipedream years ago, Genocidal. However, I think Regal moving to Raw or SmackDown is plausible. Michael Cole will bury him in either case, so NXT may be the best place to hear him uncensored. (I think he mentioned banging trannies in the recent episode.)
When does the "good" NXT start? I figured it would be going by now but the May 30th one is still the "Redemption" stuff.
Probably not until July or whenever it is when Raw goes 3 hours permanently and changes the entire taping schedule.

The good NXT has been running since Michael Cole left the commentator table. ;) I dunno. Probably just me, but NXT is my "A" show. Only WWE show I watch from start to finish. Every other show I just watch clips from their official YouTube channel. I don't even have the interest to torrent them.

Speaking of their official YouTube channel, their behind-the-scenes videos are pretty good. Shame they can't fit that shit into the actual TV shows. Helps build up the characters.

I think this whole Molly Holly situation is retarded simply because it ain't anybodies fucking business who she sleeps with except hers. I know I'm saying this behind a keyboard, but DAMN.

That wasn't aimed at ANYONE here, mind you...I'm talking about the Youtube posts and such that were linked.

NXT is pretty good lately, 5/30 episode aside. Maxine and Curt Hawkins really stand out, IMO.

FCW is pretty good, too. I've somehow missed watching the last few weeks so I've been catching up. Cesaro and Ohno actually go 1 on 1 for 10-15 minutes, maybe longer? I watch it late at night so the concept of time escapes me.

Supposedly Orton tested positive for Diananol, an orally-effective anabolic steroid. It's on the controlled substance list and was banned years ago after being used commonly in bodybuilding.

So Alex Shelley left TNA and now there are reports that Chris Sabin wants to leave when his contract expires in August. I'd like to see WWE pick them up because I think they deserve better, but I don't know if their size or WWE's shitting on tag teams would really help them.

I don't really know if the size thing still applies. With the exception of Sheamus, none of the champions are exactly imposing figures. Punk and Santino are relatively normal sized, and Cody is thin, lanky guy. Also Bryan is a small guy.

Maybe not the size thing but their being a tag team would certainly hurt.

If it was done by the same guy who did the Divas and Tag belts, then I wasn't expecting to be blown away anyway.

.

- Former WWE superstar Sid Vicious noted on Twitter over the weekend that he's received a "big offer" to make an upcoming appearance. With WWE recently contacting dozens of legends to appear at the 1,000th episode of RAW on July 23rd, this could be what he's referring to.

- WWE is starting to contact businesses it believes are infringing on Daniel Bryan's "Yes!" catch phrase, which they have trademarked.

- Several fans have sent in word that Ric Flair was spotted out in Greenville, South Carolina on Sunday night - the host city of tonight's WWE RAW Supershow.

A belt in the same vein as the pennies and the flying vagina? Let me bate my breath.

WWE, you so stupid.

I can't wait to see the evolution of the title. I anticipate something even more inane and degrading than the current title - something akin to the time narrative scene in "Idiocracy," where they depict the downfall of society as a "Fuddruckers" slowly loses its sense of spelling, grammar, and good taste, eventually becoming "Buttfuckers" restaurant.

Might it say "CHAMPEN" on it?

(brought to you by Carl's Jr.)

THQ may have just fired everyone from their San Diego office and closed the studio. Rumors are thick coming out of E3.. I'm sure the UFC heading to EA didn't help.

Well if the WWE license falls into new publishing hands maybe they'll finally shop around for a new developer. Nothing against Yuke's but the overhaul promised but unfulfilled with WWE '12 won't happen without a departure from the Smackdown engine.

THQ San Diego did WWE All-Stars, which was fairly well received if I recall.
Big Gold Hashtag
Yikes, man. Don't give them any ideas!

(Although, what do I know, I like the one-cent tag titles.)

My favorite title belt is the WCW World Heavyweight championship. Glad WWE still uses it. The fourth-generation IWGP Heavyweight championship is pretty nice. My second favorite belt is probably the second? third? ECW World Heavyweight championship.

(The one with the purple and scribbles is the fourth iteration, I think.)

Favorite belt? Hmmm... probably the WWF Winged Eagle one. It's certainly the one I'm most nostalgic for. I was now an NWA/WCW fan back when I was very young.

I agree with Chase. The WHC is just timeless.

I'm also nostalgic for the 80's Intercontinental belt. Savage/Steamboat cemented my fondness for it.

Honestly I'm waiting for the day the spinner belt finally gets placed into retirement. The belt has been in use for 7 years. SEVEN YEARS. That's more than twice the length the Undisputed title got.

I hope that McMahon's appearance next week is to end this storyline:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5vmk3z0egr0&feature=related

I guess they did "end" it by making him the permanent GM (or at least I think they made him the permanent GM), but I would like Laurinaitis to not be a character on Raw anymore.

Happens every time a WWE game is announced.. something major happens to ensure that whatever game they release will be outdated.
Bully Ray is really really good at what he does.

That is all.
Agreed. Amazing to think we're just now really getting a full view of his potential after being allowed to leave a gimmick he's had for well over a decade.

New belt leaked.

In a recent interview, current WWE Champion CM Punk indicated that a brand new WWE Title belt has been created.

A photo has now surfaced online, and after contacting several WWE sources, PWInsider.com is reporting that the photo is legit, although "some changes" will still be made before the final product is revealed. Here's the photo..

It's.. eh..
