I've been selling video games online for about 4 years now and recently opened up my own website, gamedealdaily.com

A new deal will be posted every day, seven days a week, at noon ET.

The site also features a store area that will expand over time.

I've been a member of CAG for about 5 years, so its exciting to be able to offer some good deals of my own. I PM'd CheapyD and he approved my posting of the deals on this board. Following his advice, I will update this thread daily with the new deal for the day.

Today's Deal: Halo 3 Limited Edition (XBox 360) - $29.95

Today's deal is for Halo 3 Limited Edition for the Microsoft XBox 360. These games are in like-new condition and come complete with the original tin case, game case, artwork, manual, and game disc. Each game is guaranteed to work perfectly.

If you're looking for a cheap XBox 360 system, check this one out for $79.95 + shipping:

THIS XBOX 360 CONSOLE DOES NOT FUNCTION PERFECTLY. PLEASE READ: The first problem occurs when you enter a disc into the system. When you close the door to the system it re-opens. You have to play this game for 3 or 4 tries, and then the disc will stay inside the system. It has never completely refused to accept a disc. The second problem is that the system will not play a few certain games. By not play, I mean that the games will freeze shortly after gameplay begins. I've played about 60 total XBox 360 games on this system and the only ones I've found this problem with are Madden NFL 09, Assassin's Creed, and Perfect Dark Zero. 95% of games work with no problems.

Here is what is included with the system: XBox 360 Core Console (no hard drive), Component HD AV Cable, power cable, ethernet cable, and manuals. Nothing else is included, no power brick, no controller, no headset.

NEW: SELL US YOUR GAMES!

Directions can be found at the top of the page in case you have any questions about the process. Well over half of the titles on the list trade in for more than $10!Thank you for checking out the site.

same here.

those elite hard drives. They are not ones that used the specialist's tool is it? I seen some sold on ebay that way. While no one has been banned yet I don't want to take the risk.

Wow, some damn nice prices on 360 games. I've always been impressed with how many really good games you can get for the system for cheap.

Quick question: is the Perfect Dark Zero you're selling the original or the Platinum Hits version? The PH has the map pack that's normally 800 or so points on the marketplace. Oh and same question about PGR3 since the PH has force feedback support for the racing wheel, although that's already sold out so I guess it doesn't matter much.

We're running low on new copies of Project Gotham Racing 3 as well as Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter. Thanks for the orders this weekend, everyone. I'll work to get them out Tuesday or Wednesday.

I'm working on a few new deals for this coming week. This the last day of the Labor Day sale, so if there's anything on the OP that you've been waiting on, place your order today!
do the games come with the case? or are they disc (or disc and manual) only?
The only game that is only the disc and manual is Forza 2. Every other game comes complete with the case unless otherwise stated in the title or description.

Updated with today's deal on the 360 Component Cables. These are the official Microsoft brand. We only have a handful available, so please order quickly!

I've been working on packaging up all the sales from the weekend, and they will all be mailed out early tomorrow afternoon. Thanks for the orders everyone!

I'm thinking of ordering a couple of 360 controllers from you, but I have a question. I'm a stickler when it comes to controller conditions, so is there any guarantee that they won't have any loose sticks, sticky buttons, residue, ect.? Used could mean anything.

Obviously, I can't speak for drfrielgood, but it seems like most of his "used" items are returns, refurbs, open box, and the such. I have bought a couple of used items from him, and they looked like they came right out of the box.

The 360 controllers are in good shape, I check them out before I send them for bad joysticks, sticky buttons, etc. Of course, if you have any problems with them you are welcome to return them for a refund.
Updated with today's deal for the 360 Elite 120GB Hard Drive.
Very tempting. What's the condition of the drives, and any chance at all of getting one that isn't from an Elite (meaning, getting a gray drive, instead of black)?

The hard drives are all in excellent condition, I'm not sure that some of them have even been used. Unfortunately, I only have the black-colored drives in stock.

Are the used hard drives wiped clean, or is there still data on it?
A 120GB hard drive seems a bit overkill for me, but I'm thinking of getting a 20GB hard drive to accompany an arcade 360

At this point, I can no longer really recommend the 20GB hard drive. The next fall update is going to allow for users to install games to the hard drive, just like the PS3. Though not mandatory, it is certainly will be a nice addition to the 360 and something we will want to to advantage of, if we can. Unfortunately, unless you want to be constantly installing and deleting info, you'll need something bigger than 20GB. The 60GB drive would suffice. That's what I have on my PS3 still, and that has served me fine. Keep in mind, though, that we haven't seen a clear release on the standalone 60GB drive, yet.

Good to see an individual starting a company that treats gamers a little more fairly. I honestly think there is room for a site like this on the Web.

I think the shipping is pretty fair. It is probably a little profitable to the owner, but I'm sure it has to do with how he/she keeps his/her books for tax purposes.

was like 8 bucks shipping for me. That's not bad at all, not sure why folks are complaining. I doubt it costs much less than $8 to actually deliver it.

Exactly. All of us, myself included, get a little spoiled by big companies that can afford to take loses on shipping. This is a small business venture. He can't afford to ship a game for $2. He has to buy packing materials and pay for shipping. Yeah, he might only lose a $1, but those dollars would add up pretty quick, when he is shipping out a couple of dozen orders or something everyday.

Coming from somebody that does alot of eBay business, the prices you are paying for shipping, are the actual prices it costs to ship - maybe even alittle less for some.

Assuming, that drfrielgood is using Priority Shipping (which by people getting their products in three days usually, makes me believe so), that costs about $4.65 - $4.75, so if anything, he's making a 0.20c profit or so. However, if he also buys tracking, that would put the cost up 0.65c more, to about $5.30 - which would be a loss on each product shipped.

Anyway, I didn't get to the bank until Sunday, so I missed out on the great Labor Day Deals (most of which actualy sold out on Firday, making my trip to the bank kinda useless anyway, haha) - looking forward to this weeks deals though, I have plenty of money to spare now to buy some random stuff.

Edit: As bigdaddy pointed out, shipping supplies can also be kind of hefty. Before I switched over to just regular free USPS shipping supplies, I use to buy bubble wrappers or shipping materials. A pack of 3 - 6 wrappers, would cost almost $2 - might not sound like alot up-front, but it add's up when you have alot of business, and further downplays the profit you actually receive from stuff. If you don't have any on-hand too (which I'm sure doesn't happen in this case, but did to me quite a few times), buying a single bubble mailer alone costs about $1.29 at the post office.

I haven't ordered from here yet, so I'm not sure what materials it comes in, but still, people have to realize that shipping is really this expensive.

for the most part, no, it's not. i ship stuff all the time, and even including materials, i can ship stuff for less (and yes, even thru Priority). in fact, the nice thing about shipping materials is that the more you buy, the cheaper they become. if the seller is buying boxes/bubble mailers in bulk, they get very inexpensive as your quantity goes up. for an example, the 6x10 mailers i use from esupplystore.com (i think wubb turned me on to them) are only 14 cents apiece when you buy 100. Priority shipping obviously includes free materials, so there's not cost there.

also consider that delivery confirmation is free when using Priority shipping and purchasing labels online. add free pickup to the equation (ie: no driving to the post office) and from a seller's perspective, things get almost easy, and certainly affordable.

if you ship a handful of things a year, then yeah, shipping and packaging can be pricey, but in large quantities (like we're seeing here), there are plenty of affordable options available that keep costs low for everyone.

that isn't to say that the OP doesn't offer great final prices on stuff -- he does. i just wanted it to be clear that things aren't necessarily that expensive.

Time to poll the audience:

Is there any interest for the region-free "Asian" XBox 360 games? These are the games that playasia have been selling on their site for years for $49.99+shipping. I should be able to offer them for around $45 plus shipping. Right now I'm looking at placing an order for Madden 09, Tiger Woods 09, Too Human, Facebreaker, and Mercenaries 2.

Just contributing my 2 cents. I'd prefer to have the NTSC U/C version of the game, it's easier to resell or trade off if or when I decide to. Not to mention, most stores that take trade-ins don't take Asian versions of games. So I'd have to vote No Interest on this one.

Thanks for the input! That thought crossed my mind earlier today when I was mulling over this decision. Most likely what I'm going to do is order 10 or so copies of each game, list them as deal of the days, and gauge interest based on how well they sell.

You need to make a shipping calculator based on weight and zip code. I am not paying $5 to ship a PSP cable that I know is under 13oz and I could probably ship for less than $2. And then you add 2$ shipping for an Xbox Live card? What could that thing possibly weight? 10 grams at the most?

I'm not mad or anything, but this is like the 5th time you've lost a sale to me due to ridiculous shipping, and I think others would agree with me.

Believe me, this has been brought up numerous times, and he has flat out stated that he has no intentions of changing it, and basically doesn't care.
