OTHER INFO

They also have coupons in magazines for great deals, so be sure to check EGM, GamePro, and several other magazines.

GameRush is starting to expand, so check the store locator every once in awhile to see if one is coming to an area near you. :)

All BlockBuster's should now accept trades, so the trade in prices for BB and GR should be similar, but normal BBs will not always have the deals that GameRush has.

GameRush accepts game trades without case and instructions and the games can be in poor condition depending on the employee.

You must have a BB account and sign a trade agreement to trade at GameRush.

Please be careful if you scam GameRush (by flipping games) since they do have the abillity to bann you from all GameRush locations if they want to.

 The trade in two worked on Digital Devil Saga even though it's $55. Also of note Fable is back up to $35.
I have the latest trade in prices sheet and it says Fable is worth $30. Did you actually trade a copy in?
Yep. I traded it and Deathrow in and got 40. The white boards with the Top Game trade in list said $30 but the reciept says $35.
sj41, you should've had that SNES price-checked! It'll ring up at $9.99.

Dang, I may buy a new one at that price. Maybe that one won't have a yellow, aging texture on it. :p

Say sj41 what exactly is going on in your new avatar
It's one of WSB's avatars with added laser beams!

I went to a different GameRush (the second closest one to me) and I only picked up 4 games for DreamCast for $0.99 each.

World Series baseball 2K1
NBA 2K1
Star Wars Episode 1 Racer
Expendable

I didn't see any DreamCasts sadly, but they did have a SNES. It was marked $29.99, but is it cheaper? I might have to order a DC system off of EB's website for $20. :( EB also has 1st party controllers for
$3 each, so I might get 3 controllers with it.
I ordered my DC from EB yesterday, since I couldn't find one locally at any shop (2 gamestops, 6 diff EBgames, 1 gamecrazy, etc). Free shipping with SAVER so it's not such a bad deal. If someone was to pick one up at a GR for you you'd probably end up paying close to $20 with shipping and everything.

Well I managed to bag "Shadowman" for the DC. Not a BAD manual but the game does not have the original game plastic insert and the game is scratched a bit but that's about it. Not bad but I would like to be able to bag something nicer.
From the voicemails I've received from both my district manager and the game territory specialist employees are not allowed to pre-order the psp. In practice I highly doubt they'll enforce but theyseem prettyserious.

If anyone lives in OKC come pre-order at NW 50th and Macarthur. Alll 5 sales open as of tonight.
Cory, Do you think GR will have the PSP a few days before the street date or do you think the will arrive at GR on the day of the release?

We had our Nintendo DS's the day before release so I see no reason we shouldn't have the PSP (unless there is an unforseen blunder on Sony or Blockbusters behalf)

Thanks for the feedback!! Please keep us updated on any info you receive on the PSP.

I just wanted to let you all know, my Gamerush in Tulsa, in addition to the 5 for $20 PS1 deal, they also have 10 for $35. I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this yet, as I only went through the last 3 pages.

Does anyone know the exact trade-in credit for Wing Commander: Prophecy on GBA? I saw it selling for $24.99, so I'm guessing in the $13-15 range, but my Toys R Us has a bunch of cheap copies, and I'm wondering just how worth my time it would be.

sj41, you should've had that SNES price-checked! It'll ring up at $9.99.
Dang, I may buy a new one at that price. Maybe that one won't have a yellow, aging texture on it. :p
The one I saw didn't have any aging to it. I'm going to go by and pick it up, soon. Plus, I've seen tons of SNES games at the GameRushes I've been to, so I should be able to build up a nice collection. :D

I may try to trade in Fable if it's getting $35.

I got a Castlevania 2: Simon's Quest....someone actually trade in NES games for $.25 !

Also picked up MGS2: Substance (XB) used for $6.99.

man I said before and say again game rush rules. I just traed in mortal kombat decptions and mdk2. I pre-ordered gt4 and all said and done cost me 1.58

Lucky. All the SNES games GR's have here are old sports games, luckily I got Aero the Acrobat 2, which is not very common.

I DID see a Super Gameboy, though. Didn't see a point to buy one, though.

I have a feeling before too long GR will be like most B&M Gamestop's and EB's, no longer selling "retro" games, because I'm sure they need more stock room for all the new titles constantly coming out.

Oh yeah, at the GR on Pioneer, I saw a 32X game mixed in with the Sega Genesis ones. Didn't get to see which game it was, though.

Eggs of Steel (Atlus Game complete)
Was it Blockbuster exclusive one?
don't think so. It doesn't say blockbuster exclusive anywhere. I've never seen the game anywhere myself and only picked it up because it was Atlus

Guys, it's sj41 here. I wanted a new name, and I couldn't get Cheapy to change it, so I decided to start a new account. The first thing I did was ask "What's an OTT" in the OTT thread.

I'm going to ask Trakan if he can lock this one soon. That way I don't have to log in to my old account.

Alright, I'm about to make the new thread. Thanks Casey. :)
