Game Pass

Rent unlimited games for a month. You can have one game (or 2 depending on the pass) out at a time and can return it whenever you want and switch it out as many times as you want.

1 out = $14.99 the first month....$19.99 thereafter

2 out = $24.99 the first month...$29.99 thereafter

You must have a credit card/check card to signup. Checkcard must be visa, mc, amex, dc, or diners club. You can also do it by getting a prepaid visa, mc, dc or amex card with at least $1 on it so it will clear the authorization and just pay for it each month (very tedious though). You can cancel at any time. Good on any rental game (gamecube, psp, nds, gba, xbox, ps2).

CC have King of Fighters: Maximum Impact (2 Disc version) for $10. Thought they still have few copies left since i left the store at 12pm cuz i spend extra 30 mins helping few peoples to pickup great games.

I traded 2 copies of King of Fighters:Maximum Impact Collector's Edition that I bought for $10 each at CC, and got $25 for each of them at GR. Did you have them check the wrong version?

It is BS. I worked for BB for 15 months. Stores 37042 and 92559. I assure you, the employees are supposed to ring up all the games at once.
 
Got a question for you guys. I did the B5G5 sale at blockbuster picking up mostly xbox games and a few GC games. Two of the xbox games didn't have instructions. When you are trading games into BB, do they require instructions? I'm just worried if I'll be able to trade them back in when I'm done with them. This is the first time I've bought any games there and I know EB always requires the instructions on their trade deals.

Cochese, it is not BS. You may have worked at Blockbuster for 15 months, but you do not work there now. I put up the signage for the sale and read all the info pertaining to the sale in the map. I described the way that the map instructs employees to ring out the sale. The fact that you would argue with a Gamerush employee over a sale being held at Gamerush speaks for your ignorance.

Druaga trades in for $15 even, as well.
 
Wait, so what some of you are saying is that if they ring the games that you're buying all at once then scan the barcode, you're paying for the 5 highest priced, but if they group the 2 most expensive together, then you're actually paying less? Am i correct? So wouldn't it make more sense for them to scan them all at once from a business point of view?

Just got back, it trades in for $20.25 now.

For those who recently traded in KOF for 25. DId they scan the outside of the game case, or the outside of the whole 2 case box? I just called and for the value for KOF: Max impact was 15. Maybe if traded in with bonus disc case and all, you get 25?

It must of dropped very recently. The game has been out for 5 months, so $30 was still a lot. At least you got $10.25 profit. ;)

I traded in the games unopened. (My gamerush prefers this since they can sell the games as new) They just scanned the outside, and I got $25.

Just pickup "Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones (GBA) $20.99 but they out of "Kirby: Amazing Mirror and Zelda: Minish Cap". I endup take flyer to Bestbuy and have them Pricematch and get "Kirby: Amazing Mirror $20.99" but no go for Zelda: Minish Cap (OOS).

Ohh well, I don't feel like spend extra $20.99 anyway ;)

I traded KOF Maximum impact 2 weeks ago for $25. Someone told me the value dropped to $20 on this board but they were wrong it was still $25. I was buying them at Meijer for $9.99

They have been scanning the barcode on the outside of the cardboard box. Not the UPC on the DVD plastic case.

They changed the price today. Was $25 yesterday, $16 today. Guess the price changes for trade ins won't always be on tuesday now. :cry:

Yea, price changes must have gone into effect today - when I asked the employee why it was only 20.25, she said "I think alot of price drops happened today, it's kind of weird".

I think Gamerush is starting to catch on - too little, too late though.

Anyone in the Pontiac/Waterford area, the GR off of M-59 (accross from the Meijers) they have 4 or 5 PS2 mem cards and an eye toy still in stock.

I now have a DC fishing controller (1.50! :) )

I had checked 3 other gr's earlier in the day, so i surprised to find anything when i randomly ended up there...of course, the glass case was filled with so much stuff i couldnt even see it all. They even had a 32meg pro duo for 19.99 before %50, could be a nice emu only card or something

just got back from gr and i too got $14 for Nightmare of Druaga.. man i knew i should have traded it in yesterday instead of watching batman..dam that bat..lol good movie though

i also switched a $40 preorder to a $50 one but almost had some trouble. the girl helping me was trying to get me to pay another $10 for the difference and was saying that theyre not suppose to switch preorders. is that true or do they just want my $10?? she let me do it but had that "one time only" look on her face.

I really dont think anyone would be willing to do that...Its way too much to ask a person. Why can't you buy it yourself? Are you banned?
 
Even if you're banned, you can still buy it...unless you have the credit on your account. I had all the credit on various value cards and just bought a 500 dollar gift card :p You definitely don't need to be a member to use a gift card to purchase and I'm 99% sure you don't have to be one to use a value card either. Then again, I don't have a gamerush by me (until I go back out to school), so I did everything through blockbuster.

not banned at all, i just dont have any GR's near me and my BB's say they dont think they will sell them since they didn't sell ps2's, xbox's, etc.
 
I went to GR for the first time in like a month and scored a like new wavebird for $10 and the Madcatz retro PS2 controller for $5. Also got WarioWare Twisted for something like $21.

I also got the guy to check some prices for games from the CC sale, just in case I couldn't unload them all in a few trades.

A GR near me had about 20 preowned PS2 mem cards(red&black). Does anyone need one? Also is anyone looking for an universal(black) or GC(indigo) lcd screens, I've seen those too?

They changed policies since May 1st, huh? Sure. Whatever you say.

And I doubt BB would have two seperate directives for GR and non-GR stores. They aren't that bright. Then again, at least not in April when I checked in on a GR store in GA. But, just to check again, I'll stop in and speak to my former co-workers and look at the current MAP myself and looksee what it says. If there's anything I learned about the company (besides the CEO being a piece of shit) while I was there, they don't want the customer to ACTUALLY save money.

(And since you still work for that POS company, I wouldn't exactly be tossing 'ignorance' around.)
