GFC is Back in Business! Worldwide Package Forwarding & Item Ordering Services ^_^.

1) Direct Request (DR) Services - The service that started it all, our Direct Request (DR) Service allows you to buy just about anything you want from the USA and have us order it and ship it directly to you. This is perfect for those of you who are unable to buy from USA merchants that will not ship to Canada directly or who do not accept Canadian/International credit cards. We charge $2.00 per item ordered plus shipping. Additional fees apply for items weighing more than 5 pounds shipped or more than $150 USD in value. Our online form will calculate everything for you automatically and there's no obligation to buy anything until you check out with Paypal. Feel free to ask any questions you may have about our services.

2) Package Forwarding (PF) Services, Address & Rates - [PREMIUM SERVICE] If you want to order the items yourself, you can! You can order from any website that ships to the USA. Ship the items to our secure UPS mail box and we will repackage them and ship them to you in Canada (or any other country for that matter). Typical fees apply for this service as usual and you pay only $1.00 per package received at our mail location. Quick, easy and GREAT for limited-time sales when the Direct Request option may not be quick enough. Please note we cannot ship: meat, cigarettes or other nicotine items (including electronic cigarettes and their accessories), alcohol, weapons or gun accessories (including paintball/airsoft), pornographic materials, toxic chemicals (including several cleaning liquids), fertilizer or any items that are illegal to ship internationally. Also, any items containing NI-CD or LI-Ion Batteries can no longer be shipped via USPS (Laptops, cell phones, handheld game systems, etc.) and must be shipped via UPS instead. If you have questions about a particular item, please contact us first before ordering.  You will receive an Email invoice with PDF attachment explaining line-by-line details of all charges and full payment options. GFC PF Service Requires Premium Membership which costs $10.00 a month or $100.00 a year (discount of two free months) and is available in our GFC Store. Full details on website.

3) GYROS Updates - After you have ordered your items, filled out the forms and notified us of your order we will add your items to our GYROS page (generally within a week or less). Once your items have been received, we will invoice you for the shipping costs + our service charge. After receiving your payment, your items will be shipped out to you in a timely manner and you will receive an Email with all relevant shipping information ^_^. If you have any questions feel free to Email us at [email protected] .

Service Charges (Free Members):

GFC Charges $2.00 per item forwarded for standard or "Free" Members. Please note that an item in this case refers to each item within the packages you ship to us. So if you were to order say 2 DVD Movies, an Umbrella and a Towel, this would count as 4 items total. Items that are sold in "Lots" such as multiple baseball cards will be counted as one item, subject to our discretion. Also, UPS Charges me to pick up the packages, so there will be an additional charge of $1.00 per package received. I will add into the invoice for you when I get your iitems in.

For larger orders, an extra $5.00 USD surcharge is added for each 5 pounds your package weighs OR per $150 in value of their total contents (example: a 5 pound package would cost an additional $5.00 USD, a 10 pound package would cost an additional $10.00 USD OR a $150 item (or group of items totaling $150 or more) would have an additional $5.00 USD charged, a $300 group of items would have an additional $10.00 USD charged). Please note that this will be either a weight or cost surcharge and not both, but the greater of the two will be what is charged. An item weighing 14 pounds will still only be $10 added as it didn't yet reach the 15 pound mark. This will be shown on your invoice and will be clearly explained. In the near future, this service charge will be automatically calculated for package forwarding items the way it is currently automatically calculated on our Direct Request 2.0 system.

So Again the things to remember:

1) Ship to the address above
2) Ship all packages in my name (James Parks) and if you want to include your information as a “Gift Message” on the order, you certainly can do that. This is required though to be in my name as the UPS store will only sign for packages in my name and will refuse all others.
3) You MUST fill out the Direct Request (DR) form on the link above to let me know what’s coming
4) Once I receive your DR submission and all your items, I will invoice you for the shipping cost plus service fees.

Estimated Shipping Costs:

The following are shipping estimates for standards weights. This will give you a pretty good idea of how much it will cost to ship your item to Canada. If you live in another country, feel free to inquire by contacting us directly.

For all items from 0 - 4 pounds we typically use USPS First Class Mail:

$00.00 = 0 Pounds / Digital Items
$09.00 = 6 ounces
$09.00 = 7 ounces
$09.50 = 12 ounces
$11.00 = 1 Pound
$16.50 = 2 Pounds
$22.00 = 3 Pounds
$27.50 = 4 Pounds

For all items from 5 pounds and up we typically use USPS Priority Mail:

$38.00 = 5 Pounds
$40.00 = 6 Pounds
$42.50 = 7 Pounds
$45.00 = 8 Pounds
$47.50 = 9 Pounds
$49.50 = 10 Pounds
$52.00 = 11 Pounds
$54.50 = 12 Pounds
$57.50 = 13 Pounds
$55.00 = 14 Pounds
$62.50 = 15 Pounds
$60.00 = 16 Pounds
$63.00 = 17 Pounds
$70.00 = 18 Pounds
$72.50 = 19 Pounds
$75.00 = 20 Pounds
$77.50 = 21 Pounds
$80.00 = 22 Pounds
$83.00 = 23 Pounds
$85.50 = 24 Pounds
$88.00 = 25 Pounds

For any items over 25 pounds, we'll have to manually invoice you.

On Hold & Unclaimed Merchandise:

GFC allows you to send items to our secure UPS Package Forwarding address (listed above). After you order your items it is your responsibility to properly fill out our Package Forwarding (PF) Form on our website located here: http://www.gamesforcanada.com/package-forwarding.php . Once you do this, we will be notified of the items you have ordered and you will pre-pay the shipping/service charges up front for us to process and re-ship them to you.

The first 30 days are free to hold all Package Forwarding items. This is plenty of time for you to successfully order from the various stores that you want and submit our PF form to notify us. This also allows for adequate time for you to request us to combine items into a single package.

After 30 days, there will be a $5.00 USD charge per ITEM per week (flat rate fee) until the payment has been paid in full. Since you are pre-paying for the item costs, you will be responsible for both shipping to your country, our GFC Service Charges and any processing fees associated with the transaction.

After 90 days, GFC will not be responsible for unclaimed or missing merchandise sent to us at our Package Forwarding address. We suggest that you fully insure all orders sent to our address in case of loss or damage as we will not be responsible for missing or damaged goods.

Also just throwing it out there, I'm bidding on that test item of yours and it's not registering the bid.

And I need that invoice for the newegg stuff :D:D:D:D.

Skies of Arcadia - $18
Resident Evil 4 wii - $10
Tales of Legendia - $10
animal crossing wild world - $10
gears of war LE - $15
psychonauts - $12

Also, do you mind if you list the PS1 games since you can't tell what are some of the game's titles in the picture?

I like how you have multiples of a lot of games as well. (2 copies of ICO/Nocturne/SFIV/Wii Sports & 3+ copies of Symphony of the night & Inuyasha)

kathos, I shall look into the test item not working. I will have your invoice out to you once I receive the items (so I can judge the weight accordingly).

I will look through all your bids and will add them to the site tomorrow. Thanks guys :)

Yes, I do have quite a few multiples. That's what I get for sitting on these way too long =P I didn't realize how many copies of some games I had lol.

telepathy, did you click on the pictures? they should load big enough for all the PSX/PS1 games. Keep in mind some of them are Japanese imports (99% of the Japanese games are brand new but not sealed and are perfect condition including inserts and manuals).

I just bid on the test item myself and it worked. Anyone else having problems with that?

Please make sure:

1) You are registered with the GFC main page (store site is a separate login).
2) You sign in with the correct login/password combination.
3) The top of the page shows your username properly and that you are logged in before you bid.

If you've done all 3 of these, please let me know right away. Thanks guys!

telepathy, just as a test I added you in for one of your offers (Resident Evil 4 Wii) to get it rolling. I like all your offers though and tomorrow night will add them all in. Thanks so much. Let me know if you find any more problems with it. I think it should work smoothly but I'm sure some new glitches will appear. They always do with new systems =P

As for those of you with Direct Requests: I'm working as fast as I can. Having 3 days down on my system made me a bit slow for sure, but I should catch up quickly so just hang in there. I'll work around the clock. I'm only going to use my laptop now (which is 100% functional) and won't work on updating the desktop fix until I catch up. Thanks!

telapathy, okay I got you :) you're right there are a few with generic cases. I'll let you know those titles tomorrow as well ^_^ I bought them ages ago so I couldn't even tell you. I'm off to bed now but hang in there. I promise we'll go through all the titles with any questions you guys have. I'll do my best to answer them all as best as possible. Thanks!!

Well, there was other stuff that I was looking at as well, but I'm too tired to list the other offers I was considering at the moment. I might do it sometime later in the day (as in tomorrow afternoon or something). Thanks though, I'm glad you like my offers :)

New page, here are the games again:

Lowball 3.0 Potential Sales Items (Click for Larger Versions):

Mixed Games #001:

Mixed Games #002:

Mixed Games #003:

#PSX Games (Nearly all are MINT or Near Mint):

Please feel free to make offers :) Reasonable offers will be added to lowball at the starting place of your offer, with you as the highest bidder. Thanks guys!

Hey Goomba the bidding works fine, just bid on a BL Shadow of the Colossus successfully, seems like the test bid is weird for me or something.
how does one bid I'm confused?
I believe you bid on the GFC website. But, you can make an initial offer on some of the unlisted stuff so far.

Well, I guess I'll try Marvel vs Capcom 2 starting at $15, although I'll probably get outbid since this game is ridiculously rare now.

How much are the S+H for the regular sized games?

Wow, Goomba... Some of those on that list make me feel really really greedy and needy... Few of those I actually have been trying to find for years at a decent price :p (Im not paying $25 for a 1-2 old gen game dammit

I don't know if you know about this (as you may be coding right now), but your catalog items give this error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting ']' in /home/jjparks/public_html/gamesforcanada/testing-hybrid-database.php on line 146
It's actually cause a few of them have either no label or the label can't be seen very well:

(modified picture of your PS1 games w/red boxes highlighting the games in question)
https://docs.google.com/leaf?id=0B_MDxVZFJQ1hNWU1NjJjYWMtNmQwMy00OGU4LThmNDUtNGJhYzM4NzNiYThk&hl=en

& I am curious as to what jap games you happen to have as well.
I can tell what some of those cardboard sleeved demos on the right are, they're:
http://vgrebirth.org/playstationdem... pages/ps1/ps picks green/ps picks green.html
http://vgrebirth.org/playstationdem.../ps1/holiday picks '97/holiday picks '97.html
http://vgrebirth.org/playstationdem.../ps1/interactive vol 3/interactive vol 3.html
http://vgrebirth.org/playstationdem...es/ps1/legend of legaia/legend of legaia.html
http://vgrebirth.org/playstationdem...quaresoft collector/squaresoft collector.html

I can't see the first 2(?) under Chrono Cross or the 1 above Silent Hill though :bouncy:

RoganSarine, thanks for letting me know. I uploaded an older version of those pages and I'll go over them and make them look better when I get the time. They should be operational though now without any glitches. Let's hope :)

Lockescythe, full details are here on bidding:
http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=170651

The link to the actual auctions where you can bid is here:
http://www.gamesforcanada.com/lowball.php

I will be making a banner for the bottom of my CAG Signature later today :) I have to work at my casino job from 12PM-8PM EST but I'll be home soon enough. Thanks guys and if you see anything else wrong please let me know. My computer dying and all these updates mean I probably missed a few things here and there. Thanks!

Just a note on something you probably already know, but games like ICO, Ikaruga, and believe it or not, the Monopoly/Boggle DS bundle can fetch you at least 50 bucks on regular Ebay. I'd certainly throw those out.

And a clue on what the nonParodius import games are?
Yes I can order more of the $35 ones. They only limit the $30 ones :) Let me know!
I haven't used your system yet so I have a couple of questions. What's the difference between the DR Service and the DR Classic? I have a $5 amazon.com GC, would I be able to use that as part of the payment? Finally, if you were to send the code over email, is there any kind of fee?

Am I the only one interested in a bunch of the PS1/PS2 games? =D

Goomba, looking for a few if they're still available.

MVC2 ps2, Symphony of the Night ps1, DDR ps1

Just let me know, and I'll send you an offer via PM.

Something to add: registering a username that you've used for the online store login won't work.

Me being retarded, I pressed enter before I was finished typing in the info for the direct request. Would you like to me to submit a request again Goomba?

Thanks.

poiuiu, yup I know all about it. Thanks though for reminding me. I actually spent an entire day driving around to nearly 30 Gamestops in order to find a complete copy of that Monopoly/Boggle game. Definitely hard to find!

xCobalt, here are the answers for your questions:
1) The DR service is really the DR 2.0 system. It allows you to see all your items totals with shipping and service fees in real time to give you the most accurate estimate available. It requires you to be registered with the site (which is free) and allows you to pay immediately to expedite your service.
2) The DR Classic is the original form we had. Just enter the items and it creates an Email that's sent to us. It's manually processed by us and we tabulate your items and service charge with shipping and Email you back an invoice with payment instructions. It takes more time and more work, but it's good for unregistered users who want to get a taste of what we do. Also recommended for non-Canadian customers.
3) You can use Amazon Gift Cards at any time for 1:1 credit with any of our services. You can simply email the code to: [email protected] and we'll credit you on any of your future or present orders.
4) Yes we can send you the code via Email. The only fee is our $2.00 flat service fee for the first item in any order ($1.00 for each additional) and we ask you to pay any Paypal fees if they pop up.

If you have any more questions let me know. Thanks!

Well if you have an amazon gift card, purchase one online or get one from Swagbucks.com then you can just Email me the code and I will credit it to your account on GFC. If you are using it in conjunction with a lowball order or a direct request order then I'll just count it as if you were paying with USD. So $10 Amazon GC = $10.00 USD and best of all there is no credit card processing fee. So even if you buy the GC with a credit card, you won't have to pay anything to send me the code. Works great =)

You can buy them on Amazon.com ^_^ Let me know if you have any more questions about it.

Yes, as far as I'm concerned Amazon credit is as good as cash. I buy so much on there for myself and for the GFC orders that it might as well be :) Thanks!
Yes, as far as I'm concerned Amazon credit is as good as cash. I buy so much on there for myself and for the GFC orders that it might as well be :) Thanks!
lol, that's pretty funny to hear.

Also, some other stuff I was interested in:

Devil Summoner - $18
shin megami tensei nocturne - $17
ikaruga - $16
castlevania symphony of the night - $16

This is hopefully my last day without my quickbooks software. I'm going to re-image my computer tomorrow and hopefully I can reinstall my 2008 version. Otherwise looks like I'm going to have to suck it up and start using 2010 and start fresh. Not the end of the world, but I like having all my orders and history in one place. I'll keep you posted. Sorry my computer decided to blow up guys :(

Thanks telepathy :) I appreciate that.

Guys, because I'm going to be furiously recovering from this system crash (why else would I be up at 3:00 AM on a work day) I will probably take a few days to catch up on DR's before I list any new lowball items from your requests. I will continue to make sure I check the code of the lowball system (as well as make a form that will tabulate all the winners) and then we can add a bunch of items soon.

My main priority is to get the DR system up and running and catch up on the 70+ orders. Once I do this, I'll resume the GYROS updates and we'll be back on track.

I'm currently working to update my backup files from Quickbooks and it's been a bit of a rocky experience but it does seem like in the end it will work. I'm crossing my fingers!

Hey Goomba, I was just wondering how much you would charge to send a core 17 920 + P6TD Deluxe MD to Australia (Total worth ~ $500 US)

I know shipping fee's can be a little rough, and I'm trying to determine if it would be cheaper to just purchase the items from a retailer over here

Dex_BN are you referring to a motherboard / processor combo? If so, do you have any estimate on what they'd weigh combined? If you want to take a stab at it I'll send you an estimate for everything including shipping to Australia. Thanks!
Well if you have an amazon gift card, purchase one online or get one from Swagbucks.com then you can just Email me the code and I will credit it to your account on GFC. Oh, I'll have to do that next time. Then, I won't have to worry about Paypal.

My controller arrived this morning safe and sound, so thank you very much. =)
I'll rep you when I can, since I haven't been registered for 30days yet.

Honestly I'm really not sure, I'm building my first comp ATM. I imaging around 1/2 a kilo for the processor + stock cooler, and another 1/4 of a kilo for the motherboard.. But that's a REALLY rough estimate, I may be completely wrong :S

*edit* and yes I was talking about the motherboard + processor combo sorry. I'm looking at the one on newegg ATM.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.325066

*edit* sorry again, that's a total approx weight of 1.47 Pounds

Dex_BN you're looking at around $22.00 USD shipping (I estimated it at 2.5 pounds to accomodate for cardboard packaging) + $3.00 Service Charge to Australia. So altogether the price of the item plus $25.00 USD. Let me know if you're interested. You'll likely want insurance too, but I'll leave that up to you. Thanks!

** GFC UPDATE **

More good news everyone. I have completely transferred over all my business software and all my past records over to my new (ish) laptop and things are running smoothly once again! For now I'm not going to worry about my desktop as much and will instead be trying something new: I will use my laptop as my main business machine and will dock it to my monitor/keyboard/mouse at the office as if it was a desktop. Then when I have to go out on the road, I'll bring the same machine with me that way I've always got my most recent files/emails/webpages to work with.

In addition, I will be creating a lot of control-panel type things on the actual GFC website for my own use that will let me check up on order statuses, direct requests, auctions, etc. This will be an alpha-type programming experiment that will eventually become your individual user pages where you can check your orders, see past orders, check your rewards points, GFC credits, etc.

Exciting times! The computer mess slowed me down a good 5-6 days but now we're back and rolling. Once I get home today I will start processing the last few days worth of Direct Requests and will again start shipping out your packages. Now that my laptop is set to work with my printers/label printers, we'll be back on track. Thanks again for your support and understanding :)

That's good news goomba. I remember when I got a laptop, I basically stopped using my desktop altogether. It's just so convenient since you can bring it anywhere you want.

Yeah seriously telepathy. I almost wonder what the point of having the desktop these days. Right now I'm using my laptop monitor as my second monitor, my desktop widescreen monitor as my main monitor and everything is running smooth as butter. I'm liking this :) The funny thing is that it actually is running better considering my laptop has 4GB of RAM (my desktop had 2GB) and a meetier processor too. Funny how that goes.

Well in any case I'm getting down to business. Going to start looking through my DRs and getting things back to normal. Thanks again!

That sounds great goomba :) and yeah, insurance is definatly the way t go.
I will get back to you once I get the money together :)

Thanks.

The only reason to have a desktop is if your desktop is significantly more powerful than your laptop, but it still suffers the issue of portability. Just like you, my laptop outpowered my desktop, so it gets canned in favour of using my laptop as my primary. It can be good as a backup though sometimes.

In my case the laptop is more powerful so yeah, it sort of defeats the purpose. There are some good things about desktops though. Having multiple DVD drives, multiple harddrives, easily swapped cards and such, but for what I use my computer for (processing orders, website development and simple Photoshop tasks) the laptop does just fine :)

** GFC LOWBALL UPDATE **

I have gone ahead and put two new items you guys may be interested in into the lowball. The first is a 12 Month Xbox Live Gold Card starting at $30 and the other is Left 4 Dead 2 (PC) which I'm starting at only $20. It's brand new! Go bid :) More items coming soon. Today I worked at my University job, then I spent the afternoon/night doing my business taxes for my state and now I'm doing your DR's and packing items.

Keep in touch ^_^
