I received mine when I pre-ordered, but it could be possible that your Gamestop ran out of the pre-order bonuses. Then again, I pre-ordered mine around the beginning of August, and by that time most stores had it. I would say if you pre-ordered it before July then the stores wouldn't have the bonuses at the time you pre-ordered.

Thanks. I pre-ordered in mid-July. I'll stop by and see if they have it available. If not, I might have to cancel and pre-order at the GS across the street. :lol:

The preorder bonus for Mirror's Edge is crazy nice. The bag is described on the Gamestop website as being big enough for your 360. It's just surprising a product they could sell for $19.99 is just being given away.

At GS last night, one of them (I have 5 within 5 miles of me) had the sign up for Little Big Planet. The promo was the Kratos/Heavenly Sword chick costumes for Sackboy/girl. The sign said it was a GS exclusive.

SOCOM for PS3 has Beta invites for those that pre-order at Gamestop. According to gamestop.com, those should be arriving in-store this week for those that pre-order in-store. Resistance 2 is also supposed to have something similar, but the specifics haven't been announced yet.

Quantum of Solace has a free "wall graphic", which looks crap if its the same as what they're showing in-store, but hey, free is free. There's also been a Collector's Edition of the game announced for 360 and PS3, no info on the content so far though.

The only preorder fiasco I remember from recent memory was the Ninja Gaiden DS stylus issue. Some people didn't get theirs both in-store and online. Turned out to be actually limited or Ninja Gaiden DS sold better than expected.

Looks like most of the preorder bonuses ship with the game. If you check the individual page for most of these games, you will see the blurb about when the bonus gets shipped.

There was a sign put up yesterday at my local Gamestop that said there was a 90-minute DVD of footage from TNA Wrestling w/pre order of TNA Impact: The Video Game (any version) but it's not showing up on the site. From what I was told, the DVD was given to you at pickup, not at reservation.

Yeah, I always worry about not getting my preorder bonuses in store, so I usually end up ordering online just to be safe.

I stopped by GS last Thursday and there just happens to be a Sony rep there. He mentioned that the LittleBigPlanet preorder bonus for GS is still be worked on, but most likely will be a voucher for the Kratos sackboy in game. I was hoping for a plushie too! He didn't mention anything about the Heavenly Sword costume though...

On a separate note, on my way out, I saw he had a bag full of PlayStation 3 keychain straps!!! I wish I got one!!!! >.

During the Holiday season of '07 I worked at Gamestop 1 day a week for the employee discount, I felt bad for our customers... My assistant manager and other employees would horde a good portion of the preorder bonus items. The manager wouldn't do anything about it and wouldn't you know when I preordered my copy of UT3 from the same store I worked at someone had swiped all of the faceplates for preorder and I was left pretty much having to beg for one. Now I'm pretty much afraid to preorder anything to get the items which I'm supposed to =\

On a side note the assistant manager who was taking a lot of the bonus items registered on CAG when I told him about it, he eventually got banned for poor trading lol.

Sounds good, I've just had too many problems in store, I wish I took advantage of the free overnight shipping offer a few weeks ago, but I guess I'll wait to see if any other offers pop up.
