Added bonus for Shaun White Snowboarding.
Does anyone know much about this game? I've seen very little mentioned about it. I'm a sucker for snowboarding games though. SSX series, 1080, and others have consumed a lot of time.

Looks pretty good, and I'm not usually into snowboarding games too much. It looks like a cross between Amped and SSX to me, probably leaning more towards Amped. There was a good amount of coverage in the latest Qore.

Cool. Not much of a Qore guy, hopefully I get another free Qore episode in PS3 magazine this month. That would be NICE as I'm wanting to find out more about this game.
What exactly is the "Vault Dwellers Guide" for the online Fallout 3 preorder? I just put down a preorder yesterday @ GS in-store, but if that book is the stuff Penny-Arcade did for the game, then I'm going to have to switch.
here is a link to see everything in the vault dwellers guide
http://kotaku.com/5043825/the-official-vault-dwellers-survival-guide-in-pictures

My question for anybody is will I get this if I preordered before it was being offered? I had preordered online a couple months ago before this was being offered as part of the preorder so will it just be added or do I need to make a new preorder?
Expired Offers

In an effort to condense the number of images and the length of this page, I'm discontinuing this column unless readers vote that it should be resurrected. Basically, if an offer is no longer available on Gamestop.com, it is likely no longer available, likely more so in stores.
Actually, if it isn't too much trouble - I'd kinda like to cast a vote to keep the discontinued pre-order bonuses...

Perhaps if it is easier - can the discontinued items be moved into a different thread, at least for a short time? I actually like to have those items up for comparison to new preorder bonuses. With all of the preorder items that seem to be popping up lately, it's nice to be able to compare the new items to others that have already passed.

It could just be me, though.....Anyway, figured I'd cast a vote in that direction just in case ;)

BTW - thanks for running this thread. Nice job!!! :applause:

I have been waiting for a deal for Shaun White to pop out, but that sounds terrible. Unless Amazon adds a bonus worth paying full price for, I will just Gamefly the damn game at release and pay the discounted rate. I plan on buying 3 versions of this game anyways.

This is a very well done thread, by the way. So many bonuses for me to blow my wallet on.

EDIT: Just saw Amazon is offering $10 Amazon cash for every preorder of SWS which is not too bad at all. I will probably give GS my money for Fallout 3 and Valkyria Chronicles though. An art book for a game that looks as amazing as Valkyria Chronicles sounds damn good, especially since I doubt the game will see any priing deals once it releases.

Have you seen that Target is going to have an exclusive version of Shaun White with additional content?
Have you seen that Target is going to have an exclusive version of Shaun White with additional content?
That makes sense since even The White Album came with an exclusive LE when it released at Target years ago. I checked the site but nothing is really popping up. Will have to keep an eye out for that, though. Thanks.

This is a rather silly question, but anyone know if it improves your chances of actually getting the bonus item if you preorder online instead of in store? I want that Mirror's Edge bag, but I don't know how many they're getting in and I don't want to have to compete with other people to get one.

It's a hit or miss thing. I had a couple of preorders online but they didn't ship me the bonus because they ran out. The shipped the games but canceled the bonus item :bomb:

Remember some people ordered MGS3 Subsistence LE online and GS canceled it because they didn't have enough supply?!

Some stores are more careful with preorder bonuses but others tend to give them away to themselves and friends first.

Hmm, I might need to preorder the Kingdom Hearts game now. I'm not sure how soon I would play it, though, so I feel like I should probably wait for it drop in price and just buy it used. Decisions decisions....

Yeah I'm hoping Amazon would have the KHRE bonus too. Notice GameStop says it's "pre-packaged" with the game, which is a little different from their usual "available at time of pick-up" or something.

I looked today at gamestop.com and my mirrors edge bag has been canceled (game is still pending). I have had the preorder since July. I'm sending an email to see what the fuck is up.

I can't believe they would and continue advertise a preorder bonus that is in such short supply. I just got my game today with no bag, even though I preordered on July 15th, when did you? . I think I'm just going to return the game now and buy it at amazon to save on taxes.

July 15th also

Not sure if I want to bite on KH or not. The game probally will drop in price really fast and be like $13 within a few months......but the cards are kinda cool and might end up causing the game to retain or go up in value.

I know that this has been answered somewhere else on the site, so I apologize for being redundant, but here goes: Does anyone know what happens if you just don't pick up a pre-order from Gamestop? I have 10 dollars down on Banjo, but I was really unimpressed with the demo, and my kids and I are still getting mileage out of LBP. So I don't want it now, and I really don't feel like stopping in just to cancel.

Do they just credit your account, or do something else?

Thanks, and again, I apologize for being redundant.

They will hold onto your money until you physically cancel

Well, I walked into the GS today and saw the bag. Last bag walked out of the store as I was walking in. "Oh I'm sorry, we ran out. Would you like these Sonic DS stylus instead?"

If Gamestop was more consistent with their bonus delivery... I would pre-order more games from them instead of canceling and buying used with -30% off. I can't name the number of pre-orders that I didn't get the promised bonus (Eternal Sonata, Lego SW, Lego Indy, Lego Batman, SC4, Valk Chronicles, Tales 2, and about 10 more).... though I usually just request my credit back when they say they do not have my bonus. Today was no different. I wish I could blame it on the same store... but it's happened at every store. I called around and one store got an extra bag..... and refused to part with it to a "walk in..." which is partially my fault since i cancelled my pre-order just moments before at the other store.

Removed bonus for Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood, LittleBigPlanet and TNA Impact to Expired Offers. Changed release date for Moon; it's been pushed back to January.

Added bonuses for Afro Samurai and Red Faction: Guerrilla.
Apparently I was the only one to preorder Eternal Poison at my local store and they couldn't find the artbook...sigh.
same here :bomb:

Updated F.E.A.R. Project Origin with additional bonus offer. Moved several games to expired offers. Updated Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe release date to 11/16.

Moved Need for Speed: Undercover, Rayman Raving Rabbids: TV Party, Shaun White Snowboarding, Tomb Raider: Underworld, Castlevania: Judgment, Drawn to Life: Spongebob Squarepants Edition, Luminous Arc 2, National Geographic Panda, Petz Monkey House, Robocalypse, Rune Factory 2: A Fantasy Harvest Moon, Tecmo Bowl: Kickoff, Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe (both editions), and Naruto: The Broken Bond to Expired Offers.

Changed Red Faction: Guerilla's and Street Fighter IV's release date.

Wow, the list of games with preorder bonuses has decreased significantly.

PS3 Destroy All Humans ... cancelled

Received a voice mail from Gamestop today...yes I preordered it for the bobble...
PS3 Destroy All Humans ... cancelled
Removed PS3 version. PS3 version no longer showing on Gamestop. Thanks for the update.

Changed release date for SPray. Pushed back to December.

Added bonus for Halo Wars. I assume the bonus will be included for the Limited Edition version, but currently, the bonus is only showing for the regular edition.
Anyone know how gamestop/eb.com ship preorders? Do they usually send them in a box? Or in a padded envelope?
I would say it depends on who ever is packing your items, I bought one item a while back and they sent me the game and figured wraped up in bubblewrap and threw it in a box too large. Usually I get the bubble mailer though

Not sure if anyone has gotten their hands on one yet, but I got my Destroy All Humans bobblehead already and that thing is great. It's not a some cheap piece of crap.
