Because it makes no sense to spend an extra $2 on the exact same thing at the exact same store. Also, everyone else on here keeps saying that hardware cancels GCU, though I don't have experience with it to say it's true or not. We'll find out in about 5-6 months, but I wouldn't expect them to discount it to $80 with GCU.
You see why I don't argue with these people anymore and for the most part don't even post in the threads I don't approve of? Pretty much everyone is going to justify what they want, for whatever reason they want, regardless of how logical it is. Heck, around half of the thread is just talking about GameCube controllers with maybe 10% (if that) are actually about the bundle. In the end, this is not a deal, it's MSRP. I don't see why Nintendo making an official bundle and charging $10 less than retail is considered a deal, yet I can guarantee there will be at least 3 people here that will defend it and the thread will stick around.

Please read the thread. After my first comment mentioning how I felt about the thread, it continued on as a topic about the GameCube controller. Up to Lil Frier's comment it was just 1 negative comment, so no, the thread would have remained on the first page regardless of bitching.

See, people like you and the flipper make me hate this site. I mean, how
ing semantic do you want to get? Can I consider preordering Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel from GameStop a deal too? It comes with the "shock drop slaughter pit," which if we look at Borderlands 2, is a savings of $4.99, so clearly this is a deal too, right? How about the Far Cry 4 season pass? Thats currently only
$29.99 and includes something, though if we go off Watch Dogs, you're saving 25% buying that over everything separately. I mean, these are all bundle deals that involve buying something at MSRP, so naturally these are all deals too, right? :3
