The source? My Dad. LOL

EDIT: Just found out where he got the code from, it's from http://www.retailmenot.com/view/gameznflix.com

If you don't know, Gameznflix (http://www.gameznflix.com/default.aspx?kbid=1447) is a site like Netflix and Gamefly, just together. You can rent movies and games. The only thing is their selection is limited and they DON'T have any DS games.. GRRR!!

But, when you click on sign up, go to I HAVE A COUPON and type in emmys.

Now look at the prices!

1 Out at a Time / $6.75 each month
2 Out at a Time / $9.75 each month
3 Out at a Time / $12.75 each month

3 out a time for $12.75 a month?! Holla!

I may do two at a time.. I haven't signed up YET I'm just sharing this info for anything.

I don't know if it's going to be YOUR price..as in if you stay with this company for a year.. will it STILL be $12.75? (or whatever you choose)

And a personal question. I live at home. If my dad uses this for him/mom/brother..can I have my own account..? We have the same name too LOL (with the exception of Jr in it)

I don't post deals often, but I hope this is useful to at LEAST someone!

Enjoy!

EDITED to change link to CAG referral link.
So what happens if you lose the little sleeve they send the disc in? I sent back 2 of the games I have had out but I did a quick look for the sleeve for the 3rd and can't find it so far.
Gyah! You're doomed!

I assume you have to send it back with a note. That seems to be how the service works. But don't take that advice, go find out yourself.

Just shipped back NBA Street yesterday, and GRAW 2 has dissapeared from my queue (in other words, it's going to appear as "shipped" any minute now).

The game is three days from being a month old. I'd say that's pretty much a new release.

I got Crackdown two days after it released.

I got NBA Street Homecourt three days short of it's one month anniversary.

And I got Rainbow Six: Vegas two days short of being two months old.

So I've only checked out 3 games so far, and this is only my fourth month of service, but for $6 a month, I've been playing brand new games from three months straight. And it's not like Blockbuster rentals. I get to keep these games for as long as I please. If I haven't finished the game yet, I'll keep it for another week. I'm not paying $8 just to play a game for 2 hours over the weekend, I'm paying $6 to play the games I want, at my leisure.

I consider that a very good deal.

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas ---- 1/19/2007 - 2/22/2007
Crackdown ---- 2/23/2007 - 3/15/2007
NBA Street Homecourt ---- 3/16/2007 - 4/2/2007

3 at a time deal is working great for me. Despite a few snags (sometimes need to wait ~1 week before another game ships), I've had a lot of success over the past 3 months:

X360:
COD 3 (twice)
Rainbow Six
FEAR
GRAW 2

Wii:
Trauma Center
Elebits
Super Monkey Ball
Wario Ware
Excite Truck

Can't beat that selection for $12.75 a month, and it's a lot easier to swallow than that monthly $22.00 gouging I used to take from GF.

Well, I sent in a complaint about my service. The past few weeks have been nothing but sports titles shipped to me and they were PAST the 30th item in my queue. Not acceptable.

As others have said, I was in love with the service for the first 2 months and then they stopped sending them as fast. If they don't have the supply then they should at least show that the availability is less than 5/6 full. I had to wait for 2 weeks for GRAW 2 and now it looks like I'll be waiting for awhile for Twilight Princess even though the availability looks extremely full.

Here's the response I got about my complaint on my 30th placed queue items are shipping.....

Thank you for your e-mail. Our availability is a general benchmark of expectation. There
are many factors that go in to who gets a title and who doesn't. In looking at your queue I can tell you that there is a great chance that you will get them before the availability says you will. We ship items according to availability not the order they are in your list. Thank you for your time and being a member with us.

Thanks

I'm not even sure what the whole part means where they mention looking at my queue.

I guess I'm just lucky as they always receive and send out my games very quickly and there is at max a 2-3 day turnaround time. I usually get games on the top of my list.

I'm still waiting for TMNT to ship -- that is one of the problems, they seem to take their sweet time getting games in. The game is been out for a few weeks now, it should not be "On Order."

I just received a DVD with 7 or 8 cracks in it. Do they even inspect these before shipping them?

Still only getting movies. Send me a damn game already. Guess I'll just have to remove the movies from my queue completely as opposed to putting them at the very bottom.

I was considering Gameznflix, but it seems like it hasn't been (at least from the last few posts) as good as I'd think. Am I getting the right idea or are they [Gameznflix] just having some trouble right now?

Turnaround was abysmal - 5 days after putting a disc back in the mail before I'd have a new disc.
Wow, you've almost convinced me to sign up. That sounds wonderful. GameFly takes NINE days, at the least.

I've been using the 2 out at a time plan for over 2 months and on a couple of occasions I've had to report games lost after I returned them. The problem with this is they want you to wait 10 business days(2 weeks) before it can be considered "lost". The closest distro center is only about 4 hours from me and I drop the games off at the post office. I can understand throttling games but I shouldn't have to jump start a stuck throttle.

But I'm sticking it out for the simple fact that I'm able to get new games, mostly xbox 360 and finish them, therefore marking them off my list(and they don't sit in the backlog either). If it's a game I like, I sit on it and finish it. Bird in the hand so to speak. I don't keep any fluff in my queue either, only games I really want. For now it's worth the $10 but I don't expect anything close to Netflix service.

Since I've complained they just sent me my #1 item. Dance Dance Revolution Universe.... How odd....

If you have problems, just complain. I figured something was up.

I haven't complained and they still sent me DDR, was the first game sent in about 2 weeks.

I'm a little annoyed as well as to what they ship and when, however I have been sent several games.

Also I'm annoyed at the supposed Chicago distro center, due before 2007. I still get my games from Kentucky or whatever even though I'm in a suburb of Chicago.

Yeah, that fucking pisses me too. Update your fucking website, people. Pathetic operation they have going on there.

Well, I too, gave it a shot. But the service just didn't warrant my continued membership. My top 10 games never shipped, despite their almost full availability bar. Shipping to me took about 5 days (normal) but when I shipped back, it took about 2 weeks before they acknowledged receipt of it. So that's three weeks to wait for my next title.

Thanks to the Op for discovering the deal, but unfortunately, the service just didn't pan out to my liking. Best of luck to those signing up with gameznflix.com and to those who are current members.

Well I can't complain about the service. Very fast for me in the Seattle area distribution center. I would like to get Crackdown and other titles on the top of my queue, but I want all of my other titles too so I'm not worried about it.

It's nice because with the three at a time plan I can have one movie and two games or vice versa so the girlfriend always has a movie to watch. Sweet!

well im at the point where they're not filling up my slots, got 1 slot open and 8 games queued but nothing shipping. looks like it's time to cancel. it was great while it lasted

Looks like I'm the only one with the 1-at-a-time deal. I wonder if they'll keep shipping to me since I only have one slot.

I'll keep my queue packed anyways.

I have yet to have an issue and am still quite pleased with the service. Guess I'm lucky (would figure that the only luck I get has to do with this).

I've only checked out 4 games so far, so if I continue at this rate, I shouldn't get shafted for a good couple months.

Yeah, that's the way I look at it. I'm at 2-out for 9.75. For ten bucks a month I can have at least one game for a month, and one game for two weeks (counting transit time, worst case scenario.) And of course the one or two games I get that I realize I don't like, and send back in one or two days, that's savings right there.
For those with poor service, I hope your service gets better; I hope mine doesn't get worse.

Items 18 and 22 shipped on my list. Not sure what 18 is but 22 is NBA Homecourt. I won't complain with that one. I should just keep a copy of my list somewhere.

UPDATE: The other game is rainbow 6 Vega for the 360 so yay

ummm i haven't got my third rental game yet.

I signed up on 3/31 for 3 OUT - $12.75 . On 4/2, I got 2 game from my bottom list sent to me. Today, I checked my email and they sent me a 4th game. Why is that? I haven't got my third rental game yet. Does this mean that the third game is lost/sent to the wrong address and the one who receive it sent it back to them?

They don't send you items in the exact order that they're in on your queue. Feel extremely fortunate if your 1 and 2 items on your queue were the first thing shipped to you. They basically go down your list, and send you the first thing that's available. Getting a 1, 2, and a 4 is actually pretty damn good.

I'm sure this has already been addressed (likely multiple times) and for that I apologize, I just don't have the time to sift through 42 pages - what can existing customers do to get in on this? I've been a one-out subscriber for about a year now, and would like to upgrade to three out for $3.75 more.

It seems the only option has been for people to cancel and sign up again, using the coupon. Unfortunately, GnF doesn't allow you to use the same email/credit card for multiple accounts, so you'll need different ones to take advantage.

this is the worst service i've ever had.... i signed up for the 3 game rental and have recieved only 2 games since 3/27, i emailed a ticket to them about it and didnt hear back... and when i log in today they completely canceled their psp game line up... the main reason i signed up....

this is a poor service...

its not worth it at all

I saw this and went to check my queue, and you are correct sir, every PSP game has been removed. That sucks, although I could imagine that PSP discs would break in the mail all the time. That took off like 10 games from my queue though, now it looks pretty empty.

STILL no TMNT, lol. Just go to the damn store and buy a few copies!

I added Crackdown yesterday and it's disappeared from my Queue, I assume its being shipped out... hope it has the Halo 3 beta.

Yeah so totally without warning GnF have removed their PSP games . That coupled with the fact that they've never rented DS games means they're not a viable alternative to Gamefly.

Also Gamefly has added an east coast shipping center so I'm glad I didn't cancel my membership when I tested GnF. That being said $12 is still a pretty good deal for 3 out at a time for the other platforms.

dont sign up! its not worth the waste...... they never send you as many games as you pay for...... even when you have 10+ games in your que that are highly available.

personally i thought it was a terrible service!

especially not even giving a warning they would be removing psp!
I'm thinking about signing up, but what's the closest office to Minnesota that they have if anyone knows?
Kentucky, probably.

They supposedly were putting in one in Chicago, but I don't think that's happening.
I'm thinking about signing up, but then I saw they only had 60 Xbox 360 titles to choose from. Gamefly has more. What is the knock on Gamefly?
It may only show in the list 60 but just search for the games and they 90% of the time have it already or on order (if its newer). The lists seem to eb out dated.
What's the knock on Gamefly?

Thanks
Mostly shipping problems and slow to ship. They were operating with a west coast shipping center. So if you live on the east coast you were waiting a long time for games.

Otherwise I've been pretty happy with Gamefly.

You just sound bitter about the psp thing. Yeah, so you can't get portable games. Get a gamefly account for that and then you'll be getting console titles from one and portables from the other. The biggest draw with gameznflix is that you can get movies as well as games.

Oh and they don't send you enough games for what you pay? I have a 3 out at a time plan and this is what I've received. Add Rainbow Six (just mailed back) and crackdown to the list plus one other title has shipped but my queue hasn't updated yet.

That's AT LEAST 10 a month. Just over $1 a rental. I for one think that's a good deal.

I know Pyro. I wish they would add super paper mario. I know it's not worth the $50 price tag and it seems super short. That and **ing TMNT need to become available.

Let's be clear here--it is completely Mickey Mouse to drop PSP and not inform current customers about it. They have proven they are a low-cost provider, and they aren't worth more than the Emmy discount. I'm in the midst of my first issue with them, I'm still afraid to drop GameFly. I'm not keeping them both indefinitely, and I have tons more faith in GameFly.

I have had enough and I cancelled. I am going back to Gamefly. The website is inaccurate, the service is poor, not informing customers of dropping a system... I'm done. Be careful guys... no DS, no PSP... soon this service will just be Flix... and it will still suck. I gave them 3 months and all I got was frustration. My biggest complaint with GF was the shipping time and cost. From what I hear, there is a new East Coast Dist. Center so at least one issue should decline. As for cost, you get what you pay for.
