lol seriously i laughed out loud

SF Launch= SFIV (Playstation 3)

That's it :)

I already have my custom Happ stick and hopefully will be getting my T5 modded in the near future.

I'll get the CE. First CE for any game I've ever bought.

The 150 dollar stick and the chunli pad. I hate my hori ex crapstick so hopefully this is better.

hmmm well I'll get the game on 360... possibly special edition since soundtracks always tempt me.
And my joystick purchase (mod job!) will sort-of coincide with the SFIV release as well, since it'll most likely be ready by then (only thing holding me back right now is designing the custom art for it!!!)

For SFIV I get:

Street Fighter IV for PC
Street Fighter 4 Superstick for 360
Street Fighter 4 Pad for 360

I'll be poor.

Back to researching chairs! Totally more worthwhile than anything that's happening at school. Gonna get one hell of a comfy place to sit, sons. You'd appreciate it too if you're used to sitting on a pile of dirt, after all!

Yeah, just PC. I'm guessing it'll be compatible with the 360 version though, coz of GFW Live/Xbox Live. I won't buy the PS3 version, though. That's just silly!

I'll probably snag SFIV PC, SFIV TE Stick for 360, and maybe one of those pads for 360. I already have Pelican adapters and a nice stick, so I don't need a PS3 stick.

I just got an invite get the Super Turbo Hyper Champion Special Edition Pack early, and despite my previous accusations of it being a lameass package I couldn't resist. I really hate my SF fanboyism. It kills me.

Wow that Litchi player is amazing!

Rachel seems like an uphill battle though, but the staff setupi projectile thing seemed to work well to keep space.

In case anyone missed the recent Major Nelson podcast... Capcom's Seth "s-kill" Killian was on the podcast and talked a good bit about Street Fighter history, HD remix, and very briefly about the arcade stick.

Listen to the interview and you can hear the part where he whips it out (pun intended).

cue porn music.

Seth gets on the show at about 1 hour and 20 minutes into the podcast....

Enjoy!

I got an itch for some Samurai Shodown II. What's my best option for that? I thought I heard someone mention that a new collection of some sort was being released.

And while I'm at it, what about Darkstalkers? Did that PS2 collection get axed, or was it import-only? I was quite happy with my PS1 copy of Darkstalkers 3, until I fired up MAME and realized how many frames were being dropped!

Oh yeah and those training modes in Street Fighter EX were awesome. I also loved Zangief's Final Atomic Buster in that game where he jumps all the way up into space!

The two easy ways to get Samurai Shodown II now are the PS2 collection (which is out and Japan and coming out here next March, I think) and Xbox Live. The advantage to the PS2 compilation is that it has several games on it. Unfortunately, the emulation is off on these games, as there's a few graphical glitches. That's disappointing. The Xbox Live version is kinda expensive, as it's $10 for just Samurai Shodown II, but it's also spot on. And I'm like positive you can turn off the silly graphical filter. The game also runs in 720p, so even with the sprites unfiltered, it still looks great. So yeah, go with the 360 version, since I can basically guarantee you that the US release of the collection will have all the current issues and more.

For Darkstalkers, the compilation only came out in Japan. I don't think it was ever planned for the US. Or if it was... well, it won't be coming out, seeing as how it's been like 4 years since anything's been done with that series in the US (the crappy PSP collection.) It's totally worth picking up, and it should be dirt cheap.

Pity about Darkstalkers... guess I'll need to tide myself over through "unofficial" means until there are better U.S. retail options available. My PS2 slim is not equipped for import games... I know that's not too hard to fix, but I should really get around to fixing my Dreamcast first!

I'm waiting for the SamSho Collection on PS2 myself. I mainly want it for II & Tenka. $10 for SamSho II on XBLA is too much, I learned my lesson with FF Special which I never play.

The Import copy of Darkstalkers Collection (PS2) could be found pretty cheap since it's been part of the "Best of Series" for a couple years now. I snagged one a while back for $10.

That's about what mine went for on eBay
I also got 1 of 300 codes to buy one of these:

http://shop.capcom.com/DRHM/servlet...mus&Locale=en_US&Env=BASE&productID=110185400

for 49.95

I don't know if I'm going to buy it yet. I'm pretty broke right now. I do want it though.
I ordered it. I kind of regret it, though. The lack of actual exclusive things in the package is kind of disappointing... the only really exclusive thing is the disc that is focused more towards people who do image design/photoshop, it seems.

Oddly enough, I did get a backorder notice. I'm assuming it's just because it's technically not available yet, but I was worried for a second.

so i can't play on ggpo now. it's gotten way too laggy. I think it might be on my end. I updated the adobe AIR thing and ever since then i've only been able to play like 4 matches in total. any tips on how i can get my garou and 3S fix running smoothly?

That art looks pretty cool. Is there online in TvC or other Wii fighters?

MarkMan, will the SFIV sticks and pads work on PC?

Damn you Capcom.

I really want to order TvC. Thing is it's a lot to pay if you need the game, sticks, etc...for one game (assuming you have a U.S locked Wii)

Dear Capcom....put that shit out on PS2 or PS3. Then I'd be set.

I just wish there were some sort of confirmation about whether or not the game's coming out on the PS3 or 360 in Japan... because yeah, I'd hate to drop like $80 for the game and then a bunch more for a stick (or a little more for a converter, I guess... though I don't like that Tekken stick anymore) and then find out there's a better version coming out. Well, if the game's on sale sometime, I'll probably bite the bullet.

I would probably get it if it came out on Xbox... too bad the Wii one is in Japanese for you Wii Giis.
meatbun is selling the Street Fighter Club shrits now

they got the regular black/white one, and a glow in the dark one.

http://www.meatbun.us/catalog/produ...id=54&osCsid=d1b05fd88a4a5e3f25648eb696e77587

I dont like any of their new shirts tho >_< save money!
I like the glow in the dark one but it's $30 shipped. :\

$30 is a little too much for a T-shirt these days. I mean if it was 1999? I'd be all over that even though it would've probably been drenched in a fruity drink by a San Diego St co-ed partying in Tijuana.
Hrmm.....

Well here's a question: Was the arcade version in HD?
Well the arcade is based on the Wii so the highest output it can go to is 480p.

Does everyone play SSF2THDR on 360? I wouldn't make much sense for me to buy it on PS3 if theres nobody to play with.

MM: Is TvC playable with Wiimote/nunchuk?
