I love hd remix. So fun. Is there any chance at all that they'll port it to the PSP? I would love to get more practice with my gief on the PSP as well.
 
probably not - PSP is piracy central.

SRK/Gfaqs is reporting a seemingly major glitch in STHD- Analog inputs are registered along with d-pad inputs. This allows holding back charge on P1 side while walking forward.

This means charge attacks like Sumo Headbutt and Supers like Dic's can be done while walking forward. A bit impractical, physically, but someone could get absurdly good with Honda with this, I think.

There's youtube vids of people doing walk up jab headbutts over and over..

Seems the origin of the problem is not with STHD, but more with the original arcade and the controller in use. The arcade would also register two inputs at once, but with just a joystick there's no way to do it. With two input methods on a pad, it becomes possible.

Now a lot of characters have stored supers, not just Chun ;(

Speaking of Stored Supers, I used it today to take out a Sagat who had me on fireball wars the whole match.. put in the motion, and jumped over and popped the super. It felt so good.

so i've been tryign to make oro my main in 3S. i've got the juggle combo to ex tengu stone combo down pat but i feel like i find myself trying to go for it almost all the time.

anybody have any when i'm up against yun/yang? i freeze up every time they use that dive kick.

so, does anybody wanna ggpo it later tonight? i'll be on around 7 pm PST at the 3S room. i'm down for anything though

If you mean on the ps3, then sure. I honestly haven't played it since I got it on account of GTAIV and STHD Remix.

I haven't played on GGPO in ages. It doesn't like Vista x64. If I get XP installed before then, I'll definitely play.
 
with Oro? try randomly throwing out diagonal fireball.

I’m back finally with a new episode! Sorry for the delay, I was consumed by holiday stuff. Anyways, this episode is a good one. It features Mike Ross, who you may know from his days as a Marvel player. It’s kind of a long show, but hopefully you like it because we had a lot of fun recording it.

I was playing it almost every night when I first got it. Zasa is my main. Always down to play but not sure how long I'll keep it.

Hit me up sometime then. I still play it a bunch. I use just about anybody, but I'm probably best with Siegfried and Astaroth, though I use Setsuka a lot.
 
I've been playing SSF2T Arcade through various archival software lately..

Man the CPU is a bitch in that game. Not only are they good, but they do all kinds of wacky shit that isn't possible in a real match. Blanka will throw out like 3 balls in a row and bite your face from across the screen while you're attacking.. fuck.

Haha, yeah it's really annoying. Old school fighting game AI is the WORST. Remember MK AI lol?
 
Wow. I had no idea who the 5 worst characters in ST were (I saw Sirlin mention them in his blog a few times), so I looked it up. While I'm not surprised that Tony Hawk and Fei Long are there, I was shocked at Blanka and Cammy being there.

But then again, I haven't realy payed attention to the ST scene ever, so yeah.

Yeah, if I'm not mistaken Cammy was widely considered to be the worst character in ST.

If you even try to approach it like a normal fight, it's infuriating. The only way to stay alive is to learn the patterns, and at that point the game becomes stupid-easy to the point of boredom. UMK3 is useless without a second player!

I'll see if I can get on ggpo at 7 too Gigan, but it depends on whether or not I go to a marvel night (but I have a bunch of work to do so I may not). You can practice against my terrible Yun!

I'll be on. I'll try it on my Vista x64 one more time. It'll probably drop at some point though. I need to set up my XP partition, but I've been lazy today. I need to, because I have some games that don't like Vista x64.
 
Good games SmallWind and Suko. Those wake-up supers I did were pretty lucktastic, I must say. I'm gonna grab some food, then I'll probably hop back on in a little while, if you guys are still game.

Actually, I have a 4 day weekend starting Friday, in which I have no plans. 3s one or more of those nights? lmk. I'll probably suck though I haven't played in forever.

Why can't they just add online to the DC version of MVC2? They did that with the XBC back in the day so you could play halo online.
 
I have a nice long weekend, but the sad part is I'm busy as fuck all those days + I might be camping in the florida keys and be at an art show I have stuff in at the same time >_<

I'm not good at ST, I don't like it as much as 3rd strike (even though it is kinda broken and silly at times). But if/when marvel comes to psn/xbka, all day son!
