I asked this in the Arcade Stick thread and didn't get an answer:

Do you guys think there will be a market for Stick Art? My wife is very artistic and has expressed interest in doing the art for the sticks I'm planning build in the future.

Unfortunately, I don't have the tools or space to build sticks at the time but she could start with the artwork.
fuckin sweet video Samuel! Music went incredibly well with the animation. So when are we getting started on our pilot? :D
thx man. just keep me posted on story details. we'll work something out.

also, why's depsacal using my drawing  thx for doing so I guess

Far Cry 2 was an okay game. Chac is just mad.

I'd say there could be a market for joystick art. Problem is the customization/copywright stuff. Everyone wants to use copywrited images of stuff so you couldn't legally sell it.

I'm stuck. I want the 360 version because the online will probably be better, but I want the PS3 CE for that Bluray.

I'll probably buy the 360 version and get the PC version when it comes out. The SFIV TE stick is making me broke enough, at least I have a $40 BB gift card that I want to use on SFIV.

I'm pretty sure there'll be a bigger community on 360 and the online will be better.

I'm pretty much buying it for online play so buying it on the system that has a better online infrastructure just makes sense. That and I don't own a PS3.
Nor do I. I already have a real life Blanka that I can see any time I choose to.
tell us more of this real life Blanka.

Here are some screens of the home console menus for Street Fighter IV on both systems side-by-side. One neat thing they show is the ability to move the 'health' and 'super' meters lower if you so choose. GOOD! I'll take it.

Yeah, I agree. 360 will have better online, plus I like things like the XBL party system and people actually having mics. :)

im goin 360 since i only have that
heres to hopin i can learn how to play with the TE stick and be at least decent at the game since its looks like challenge mode will actually be useful

this one time not too long ago I thought I had a real life Blanka.

it was a mango Blanka and I was all like aww yeay I got dat Mango Blanka.

fuck the knicks!! fuck the KNICKS!!

but then I realized it wasnt a mango blanka... it was just a mango.

I wasnt sad tho. It was a real good mango.
No turbo on my stick. Mashing buttons only does so much. Waggling the stick in diagonals does a lot more. Diagonals register 2 inputs per motion - same theory as piano inputs on throws and such.
Impressive then, man. You should enter Mario Party tournaments!
Piano Inputs?

Anyone up to beat my ass on 3S? I'm addicted to this game.
Just remember

NO SA1 FOR KEN!

Also, I played melty blood act cadenza for the first time today.

Damn, that shit is fun! The animation is pretty damn nice too.

I have that uhhh....acquired, but I can't figure out how to install it.

I'll get the hang of 3s eventually. It's sooo much fun, not as boring as ST, but not as crazy as MVC2. I think I'm in love.

Did you play or are you done with 3S for today?

Piano inputs is when you use 3 fingers and press each punch or each kick button in succession, like playing a piano.

the lightning legs or hundred hands comes out with (I think) five rapid button presses (in HD Remix it's 3 btw)...

in some games (CVS2 and SFIV I kno for sure) you can press any combination of punches or kicks to pull the move off, but the fifth button pressed (assuming you're in a neutral state to execute the move) will determine the move's strength.

ReRo, I just saw that video of yours.

...

Wow. It's really good! But at the same time, I kept having to ask myself what was going on! Keep it up!

ah lol I forgot to watch that.

dang tho u kno how much bacon u can make with that?!?1

like you can wrap bacon with bacon!!

btw, aside from Unicron, the other thing I really wanted for christmas but didnt get was chocolate covered bacon.

I guess I gotta buy it with my own money soon...

don't worry. it was more suppose to be fun than make sense. working with the musician so far has been awesome. looks like the FGT movie might have a premier chiptune DJ concert. I'm hoping to get tickets for all you guys to come down.

Seeing as how I'm on the other side of the country, I'ma need someone to bootleg that movie for me if you're gonna show that in a theater. Hide the camera in your oversized, non-conspicuous hat!

it's more like genna open at a good hang out in miami. I want FGT regulars such as yourself as well as others to head on over. If I make enough scratch before then, it's happening.

Yes and No. Though I think there would be a bigger demand for it over at the SRK forums. You'd make lots of money off people like myself who are getting sticks built but can't put together good artwork.

I am honestly thinking about canning my TS preorder.
150 dollars for a stick is a ton of cash, and I honestly wouldnt use it that much.
I might just get the fight pad.

I DONT KNOW.

I feel the same. I might just get SFIV/HDR on PS3 since I have a PS3 stick. I'll be able to play with Rei but I think nobody else from here, amiright?

I'm getting it on 360 just because ps3 netplay is always janky from fools using wifi.
The TE stick looks nice, but 150 is kinda crazy for a stick I will use on a couple of games.

fuck it, im keeping it.
I really need to go to a shrink sometime.

I'm going with the pad and I'm praying that there is a second release. Money is super tight so I'll just have to make due with the pad and the DOA stick.

all u ppl reluctant on the TE stick price... plz dont forget u can get a standard one for half the price!! seriously!!

then from there if u truly feel like upgrading, spend an addition ~$60 for arcade parts!! it's a smart idea that "Average Joe" jus isnt considering coz gamers are idiots who only follow hypeness.
Hows the netcode for HDR on PSN?
It's certainly playable, although there are more glitches than the 360 version, which I hear is cool as ice. I've only seen the glitches twice since I bought it, so...yay?

~$20 is not a bad service/convenience tax.

man, I don't care though. After flipping stuff from Blockbuster, I'll have 2 sticks for about $75.

Floods-- I would keep your pre-order and ebay it if you don't want it. make a few bucks, then spend it all on buffalo wings.

Best idea I heard all day long.

Did you get rid of your 360, Mr. Beef?

Also, anyone up for some HD Remix (360)?

I just got in from teaching and wouldn't mind relieving some stress.

I think Mr. Beef and I will be getting it on PS3. Who knows who else.

Both 360 and PS3 for me. One of my pre-orders is at DD though so I dunno if that will really pan out. I mean, it should 'cause I put the order in kind of early, but you can never be 100% guaranteed sure with them. I got the 360 TE stick pre-ordered at Capcom store for $135 and a PS3 Chun Li Fight Pad pre-ordered at amazon for $38 (from the gold box).

I figure I can use the TE stick for other 360 stuff since there's shmups and XBLA titles that might be able to take advantage of it (at least I hope there's no compatibility issues >_
Mr. Beef will be beating me on the PS3 version.
Fixed. ;)

Seriously though, I'll be getting the PS3 version fa sho.

Not really fighting game related but I have Guilty Gear 2 on it's way. Sometimes I like playing mindless hack n' slash games. Nothing else is out so I figured I'd give it a shot. Is it really an awful game? I remember the demo not being too bad.

18 days foo....bring it

I probably won't be able to play though until the week after. I'll be in Los Angeles/San Diego/Orange County for a couple days that weekend with a friend.
