Well, putting it aside for awhile is probably a good thing. I find it very hard to play strategy RPGs back to back simply because they're so draining, and that goes double for Nippon Ichi's.

Also, have you been reincarnating your party members to higher classes (the ones that have classes, that is)? You can create some incredibly powerful party members that way. Sure, they start over at Lv. 1, but throw a couple in your party during trips to higher level Item Worlds, keep them out of danger, and you can level them up very quickly :) Oh, and make sure you always have a Mr. Gency's Exit on you!
Finally got a R2 beta code. I pretended I didn't care about getting one since the game is coming out in 2 weeks, but I'm pretty happy I do have it now.

Now I just have to play the waiting game since it looks to take forever to download.

Any of you guys get one? Looks like if you signed up for one you'll most likely get one.
A friend shared the R2 beta with me. I haven't played too much of it though. What I did play seemed solid.

I have just over 100 PS2 games, 88 PS1 games, 63 PC, 19 GC 46 DC, 26 Xbox, 30 ish Saturn, 5 360, and 8 PS3 games, not counting XBLA and PSN games. Not to mention a bunch of older games that I've been selling lately. I had like 25 360 games, but I cut that down because I didn't want them anymore. I've owned over 140 PS1 games, but I sold a bunch. I've sold maybe 25 PS2 games, and more than a few Xbox and GC games.

Yeah I have a backlog. ;)

I get hooked on grinding once in a while. I filled in the Sphere Grid with Auron and Yuna in FFX. I was working on Lulu when I stopped.

I want in the REsistance beta, but at the same time I don't. Like, I don't want it to be so good I buy the game.

Didn't like the single player on the first, so I doubt I'd like R2.
I own like 6 games and I have a backlog :p
How did you manage that? o_O

Bought DDR Supernova 2 and DDRX before going in to work this morning, so that's more for my own backlog. I would like to start playing them soon, though.

How is co-op in Fable 2? Anybody tried it yet.
Need to start-up on my article soon (have an intro going) and I'll finish it later tonight.
Now, time for gamez!

Yay, just got into the Resistance 2 beta. First time I've gotten into a beta that wasn't just download and play.

As far as keeping games, I've only ever sold two games... Mario and Luigi partners in time (b/c I hated it) and Super Mario RPG (b/c I'm an idiot). I guess I did sell my genesis, which I regret, but I needed the money. My dad (which he technically owned it) sold the Playstation, and I would have liked to keep most of those games. I like to go back and play my NES games (which I have like 100 of) so that's why I cling to what I have. I always think "maybe 10 years from now I'll want to get into some retro gaming". Let's see... probably around 100 NES games, 20 SNES, 30 GBC, 8 N64, 30 GCN, 30 PS2, 10 Wii, 2 PS3, 10 DS. So about 250 games. And that's my lifes worth... feels like I don't have much compared to some of you people, but I guess I'm just more stingy with what I buy.

I played Portal Stay Alive on XBLA. Man, I'll never play Portal on anything but a PC. Textures, framerate, and resolution all take a hit. From looking at it, it should fly on 360. There's like nothing really going on to make it chug, yet it does.

I rather have $11 than it sitting on my shelf un-played getting $0. I considered selling it on CAG, but didn't really push it hard because once you figure in shipping, paypal fees, and so on, I'd probably make $2-$3 more, and there's still the chance I'd be scammed (and after being scammed, I'm more likely to trade stuff into GS because being out $60 of games still hurts me now).

Dude, you spent $50 on P3... You LOST $40...

I thought engineers were GOOD at math...

BTW Terry, that's crack/methhead math...

'How much can this get me right now...'

No matter how you try to spin it, you got RIPPED THE fuck OFF!!

Arcade Narc was awesome.
Speaking of Resistance 2, I just got a beta code today. I will try it out tonight maybe.
Better start downloading that. It's over 2gigs. I'm still waiting here at 8%.

Somewhere share the beta with me!

And yeah, don't buy a rock band hit kit set from best buy. it's a piece. With the silencers on, using the new drumsticks, and using the new kick pedal, I dropped from a 94 on The Hand That Feeds on Hard to an 84. The kick pedal drops notes like fucking crazy. The silencer stick combo ups the rebound a lot somehow, but because of the silencers on there I dropped a lot of notes because I play soft in parts.

Oh well, had to get a new kick so my sisters wouldn't care I broke mine. I'm buying World tour on saturday anways. :D

I've only put a tiny amount of time in. Like, I just got to bowerstone and met up with the old bitch.

I like it so far, but I'm really disappointed by the lack of polish. Everything, just seems....rough.

I'll put some serious time into it after Dead Space. Chapter 7 is really pissing me off. It's hard and I have no ammo.
I've always thought hankme was pretty special.

Special still means retarded, right?
Nah, I'm just old and jaded. I'm like that cranky old man that chases kids off of his lawn. I am getting slow. . .:oldman:

Damn, I need to play something, anything. Maybe I'll play Outrun 2006 PC while I figure out what I want to play?

So my plan for the night was to head over to the gym and workout before bed buuuuuut it's raining so I guess I'll just have to stay in and play more Castlevania. That
crab. Oh! Major plot twist!
(just in case) boss was a bitch. It must've taken me 20 tries before I beat it.

Whats better, a Wii Classic Controller, 3rd party classic controller or adapter + SNES controller?

Or do i just buy an SNES and play real games and not just VC? :D

A SFC Classic Controller or an Adapter + SNES controller works well.

But I really like the new Datel Classic/Retro Controller. Wireless and doesn't need to plug into a Wii remote.

Buy a snes.

Yeah, dead space can go to hell. I'm completely stuck. Not enough ammo to finish the level up to a store, and not possible to run away. If I don't figure out a way around it soon the games going back to blockbuster because I'm not fucking starting from my last save, which I think is like 2 or 3 chapters back.

That was the hardest boss so far. Just kind of annoying more than really hard.

You don't alternate between 2 or 3 save slots in your games?

I need to get in on one of those DS castlevanias.

I'll I've played is Drac X/symphony of the night on psp, and I didnt' really like either.

EDIT:

Rei, I had been, but forgot to keep doing that a couple chapters back.

So it seems the guitar hero cymbals break easy. I now have honestly no idea which bundle to go with.

I would probably destroy a Rock Band drum kit. I have 2 crash cymbals that are damn near destroyed, I've pounded a snare head in about 4 inches (it was old), and my current one is losing its coating fast. I've put a stick through a tom head too.

I don't play that hard anymore. :)

I don't know how someone could dislike SotN but the DS ones are a little bit different so they might be worth a shot.

As for that boss, it sucked because it took so long so I had plenty of time to screw it up. As for the end of the battle,
my first time to the top I didn't realize I could go up so I kept fighting it wondering just how much HP it had :D
.

The PSP port wasn't very good.

I didn't like the lack of knowing what to do though.

Random fact:

Picross DS is still the best game on the system.

I like how I have 22 itouch apps and I don't even have a damn itouch. >.<

Really hoping TWEWY comes tomorrow. I'm hankering for a good DS game.

Might dig into mother 3 tomorrow. Great game, just wish it was *ahem* on the ds.

For touch screen features.

or something.

So remember that sweet deal on trading my ps3 for a 360 elite and a wii?

I traded the 360 elite to some dude today for a 16GB iPod touch and $50.

Thank you, PS3, and thank you dumb people for giving me things I like. This thing is nice.

Anyone have the Fable II guide? I wanna know if it has all the silver key locations and gargoyles locations. If it does, I might have to get it. I wanna pound out some cheezmintz before I finish the game and before Fallout 3 gets here on Tuesday.

Wait, do you still have a 360?

And seeing as how a 16 gig can be had for a little over 220, I wouldn't say that's a great deal.

But shit, I'll buy that Wii for 150!
