Boxlife for DSiWare today, game looks great, and half of the main reason I wanted a DSi in the first place.
The Flipper game ReRo posted looks interesting but I can't tell what you do.
It's basically puzzle solving, you pick up these different power-ups to change the environment so you can get from point A to point B.

I'm thinking about tossing SFIV on Goozex and grabbing SF2HD. I don't really play SFIV anymore since no one on my buddy list does, and my brother is showing an astounding lack of interest.

Hey Flak, anything you want in particular for Street Fighter? Had to return it to Blockbuster after getting all the characters except Seth, and my roomates and I are hooked.

I'm kinda broke, but I got a shit load-a games!

Let me have it, Mak.

Dead Space is unbelievably good. It's so freaking scary. I'm currently stuck on
The end of Chapter 3 (or 4, can't remember) where you have to shoot down asteroids. It's fucking annoying.

I had to take a break from an amazing movie (Chinatown) to forward some e-mail for my brother. I get to finish it now!

Thats reminds me to get rid of it as well. I like the game but I haven't really played it in a whille... and I hate Seth.

I apparently really suck at guessing the value of a bunch of change.
I had 3 cups full at my apartment and finally got tired of seeing them just sitting there, so I went to the dollar store and bought some coin wrappers.

I guessed maybe I'd get 30 bucks out of it.

All said and done, I had $120 worth of coins, the bulk of it in dimes.
I was shocked!

---

My friend found a couple $13 copies of Saints Row 2 at Target so I guess I'll be playing that through in co-op. It's supposed to be kinda fun right?

Nice, I always save my change. You don't have a coin star near you? That is the easiest/most exciting way.

Offtopic - I finished listing my game collection on CAG, every game I own! And finished my wishlist.

Yeah, the Coinstar machine at the grocery store reminded me that I should just rid of that change, but it had an out of order sign on it so I wrapped it up myself.

I won't be doing that again though as it got pretty boring quickly. I think I will buy a cheap coin sorter though with my "free" money. :)

Does Coinstar still take 8 cents a dollar?
I would have lost almost 10 bucks going that route. Eh, not bad.

Yea, it is 8 cents a dollar. I guess if you are getting more than 100 bucks it isn't the best idea, but it beats wrapping it.

I've been saving up cents as emergency money for a while, I'm always on the look out for cents! Easy money.
I always just go to my bank since they do it for free.
That's what I did after wrapping them.
You mean you give them a jug of change unwrapped?

I think I'd feel too embarassed to do that.

I'm on an SNES kick right now. Hooked up the yellow plug to the 32" LCD and used a converter with the red and white plugs to hook up the sound to the 5.1 surround, it's outputting Dolby Digital II Movie, cool. Played a little Super Mario World. 'Bout to watch a movie now. I would be outside if the weather didn't suck balls. Hopefully I can talk my brother into co-oping Turtles in Time like the good old days once he's done with Halo 3 single player.

I'm thinking about ordering some SNES games. What's the deal with SNES games and batteries inside and games dying and stuff? What's that whole situation because I don't want to order some games off eBay and have 'em croak on me.

The batteries do die. Some last longer than others for some reason. I know my cousin still has some launch day games that still work.

You can buy the game and replace the battery yourself right away, it'll last for years and years. I think they use CR2032 size batteries, the little thin, nickel-sized discs.

Pssh, I'm too cool for wrappers

Yeah I'm assuming the place I go to has some sort of coin counting machine though because It only takes a minute for them to tell you how much $ you brought in and give you a check or cash.

My Credit Union has a machine similar to a Coinstar that counts them for free.

And there I went wasting an hour-ish of my time.

You know what, you're right. My CU does have that machine, I remember noting that last time I went.

It's too far away though so I usually go to a local bank that has a partnership with the CU.

If you get the gift cards from the Coinstars they don't take out any money. Thats what I do and I get Amazon gift cards, since I buy stuff all the time on amazon.

Probably a stupid question but how do you start a new game inFamous? I just wanted to check out a few evil missions.

Also, I just started Dead Space.

Offhand, once the game starts, I believe there's an option for it when you press "Start" and select "Load" under the pause menu options? Sorry, doing it off of memory... >_

Well, today I'm a Macbook Pro 17' owner now... Also an iPod touch owner now.

I'm not use to owning mac stuff, but I will say it's very nice.

I just purchased Lilt Line for the touch since I've been wanting to play it for a few months already when I didn't own a touch:

also, anyone (ie. only GGT people) with a iphone or touch, I have a few rolando codes. just ask here and don't PM me or you won't get em ;)
Oh fuck the board game at the end of Banjo Kazooie.
It's really not that bad if you've been writing down Brentilda's tidbits. I just skimmed over my list before I started it. Took me a few tries to beat though. Just make sure you pick up a wild card or two early on to skip those death questions at the end.
Dang - I still want to play Banjo, but I don't want to spend too much on it. Anyone know of any deals for it?
Meet your new best friend, this thread here:

Check akino's listings for a cheap version of banjo.

Guy seems to check out if you read into it but there have been some situations but I think he always ends up fixing them.

EDIT: Unless you guys are talking about the third game, but I've seen that on sale quite a bit.

I'll take one, please.

Sorry, use the notepad on your cell phone.

Picked up a couple sealed games to flip.

L4D - $13 at Target
LotR: Battle for MiddleEarth II or something - $7 at Sears (looks like it goes for 20-30 sealed)

Oh, I meant Nuts N Bolts. Sorry. :bomb:
Bear, I'll give you Banjo for Killzone
Haha, I think I am going to get Prototype for it... I'll let you know if it doesn't go through!

I need to make a Target trip tomorrow, I'm hearing way too many good things about their clearance section. Backlog be damned.
