GGT 103 got MADULA!?
I had a couple times where the checkpoint was kind of bad -- I thought I was screwed when all the white elites came out in the hangar --- I could kill one, maybe 2, but then my sword was done and my shields/life was almost nothing and I needed to bubble shield and run. I
'll miss Jorge. Jun should've ate it instead. :|
I feel completely different on that.
I don't know why anyone liked Jorge, I was glad he died. He seemed bland to me. Jun's my favorite in the game besides Carter for reasons the next to last level explicitly state.
When was this?

Because I seriously don't remember it. :whistle2:k
It was long ago. Back in your younger days.

I'd be like "hey yo that new MK game is coming out" and you'd be like "that's tight bro. I'll be there day 1".

Back in the day.

At least I was cool before I became lame. You are permanently lame. :nottalking:

It's a genetic disorder, you have greatly offended me and I demand you apologize to me for that personal attack.

I am truly sorry that you are lame.

My apologies, for I did not know that it ran in your bloodline.

It's all good, only thing that matters is I'm more awesome than you, even if being lame is in my blood.

Only thing awesome about you is how awesomely gay you are.

You can have that crown.

But close enough.

Yea? Well all of my posts will look like this.

I haven't played any games tonight. Just been studying law stuff. Might get a Wii points card tomorrow so I can get a couple games I've been meaning to. Namely Mega Man 10.

I've seen Jun for about 3 seconds when he talks to Jorge before mission 6.
He said one sentence, I think. He had some stupid ass tattoo on his face.
And he bailed on me in mission 4. Jerkass.

Jorge on the other hand, him and his "slow giant" act accompanied by his chain gun of doom has helped me wax a lot of enemies on Legendary. In fact,
once him and I were downed on the way to the spire-type thing in mission 5, I stood behind the crash wreckage, went to get a drink, and when I came back a bit later, he'd murdered everyone there.

Stupid jerkass and his sniper rifle didn't really do jack for me on mission 4.
So yes. I'm the opposite.

Edit: Wtf? I got kicked from LIVE.

Solid night of gaming. Played some more of Bowser's Inside Story. I'm about 3 hours in, just got Bowser's fire back.

Then started up Limbo on the 360 and played that for an hour or so. Damn good game, and the puzzles are nice in that I can figure them out relatively quickly unlike some of the crazy obtuse puzzles in Braid.

Then played a couple hours of Black Ops online.

Okay, up to chapter 11 on Lords of Shadow..it clicked right around middle of the vampire story arc - though I will say you do not toss out the name Frankenstein then deliver a mechanical spider.

Love the variety they went for with the bosses though..and there sure is a lot of them.

Also..Patrick Stewart..kind of a dick
You know that witch you spent the last hour helping? Yeah, I killed that bitch for fun right after she helped you.

Thank God the Gears talk is winding down. As much as I love the series, and will be getting the game at release, I'm just not that interested in the beta right now. I gave my code to my brother, but I kept the Cole plushie for myself :)

Do the bosses in Yakuza 3 get easier, or are they supposed to get harder? After Tamashiro, I haven't really run into any major problems. Granted, I only just beat the Chapter 6 boss, so I still have quite a few more to go. I've also been putting all my upgrade points toward building my health up.

Oh, and Might and Magic:Clash of Heroes is absolutely beautiful in hd. I only played the first chapter, but it seems like a fun puzzle rpg.

A couple more quests of Dragon Quest IX done. Of course, in the grand scheme of things I'm like 15% done with the game if you include all of the Alchemy, Grottos, and Quests I have yet to do. I could probably play this game for 3 years and not get 100% in it.

I've also done some more B-spec in GT5 and while it's nice to sim stuff in GT5, there should be a quick sim. feature so I can speed some stuff up. The 24 hours of Le Mans was probably a bitch on my PS3 (Seriously, you have to keep your PS3 on for 24 consecutive hours) and that was only simulating it, not actually racing it, which can be done. I hope they put out that save in-race patch soon so I can actually try and race them.
I'm on sean, better late than never. ;)
Sorry man, passed out. Should be on tonight depending on how much school work I get done.

Love the beta. Good times with drunk mantling and asking Joel who he'd rather have sex with.

What are those reasons? I thought carter was the bland one, and jorge actually had personality. Emile was pretty bland until the last mission as well.

Just replayed the Hard Corps trial on XBLA. Seems much more enjoyable this time around. I think I may pick it up for PSN down the line when I'm looking for something to play.

It took me an hour to get through two levels on Henry Hatsworth :ds: I didn't die (that much) it's just that those levels are really long, man.

I felt that
Jorge was playing into the soft giant stereotype (I hate that so much), Carter though? Carter seemed so-so till he's driving you away in the Pelican (or whatever) and he takes like 500 billion shots and is bleedin' everywhere and still drivin' like a boss! Not only that, but after the game starts and he's like, "Oh, I didn't do enough badass stuff in that cutscene, fuck THE COV'NANT!" and motherfucker drives straight into a Scarab and takes it out! For that one thing, he is my favorite Spartan in the game besides Six. As for Jun, I liked him a lot and reading through his backstory in the Halo wiki I liked him even more since he's the only one on the team that survived Reach.

Edit: YO, I SEE YOU ON DAT TEH FORUMS, ihadFG!

I liked Jorge because of his accent. Honestly though I didn't care at all for any other characters or the Reach story in general. All the characters had cool moments for the most part, but none of them had really been built up for me
with any kind of emotional connection before they died. So when they died, I was always just like, "that would have been so much better if I actually cared." To me, the game thought it was much more affecting than it actually was.
The only one that affected me emotionally was really Six,
at the big end battle I cried a little bit because between the music, the glassing of the planet, and the name of the level, it just gave me that real feeling of not being able to get out alive.

Okay, horsey

I'm saying that because I'm guessing you took your name from a horse in a game.

I thought that ending sequence was a cool idea, but it did feel a bit odd considering your death was through gameplay, and any other time in the game you would have just respawned. I'd like to see that idea used in a game with perma-death somehow.

Yeah, that's where I took the name from. I use that name pretty much everywhere but CAG.

Maaaaaaaaaan I am so tired still.

I have jalapeño and cheddar brats to cook. ^__^

And I'm going to make some noise in a few, then probably go jam with a friend.

Busy day.

I guess, I never really think about the respawning as coming back to life, I think of it more as just a continue. I agree, I would like to see that played around with in a game with perma-death.

Ha! I knew I was right!
