GGT 103 got MADULA!?

Hey, anyone else been having troubles with auto-sign in on the PS3 lately? It'll tell me "error, can't sign in" when it tries to automatically do it, but when I just click "sign in" it works fine.

Whoot Mortal Kombat! :) The mom and pop shop I usually buy games early from didn't get MK in yet. They got Socom and Portal, but Socom sold out, and I have no interest in Portal 2 right now.

I'll have MvC3 sometime today. Friend asked me if I wanted a copy for $35 from some local trade in place since he had credit, so I said yeah. Would've had it last Monday, but he forgot to look in the case until he got here, they forgot to put the disc in it. All's good now though.
 
Couldn't stomach watching that video, but I tried to preorder it, but my GS said they were completely sold out (they only got 6 copies of it for each system). If I wanted to get it, I'd have to hope someone cancelled on it.
 
I've got enough sticks as is, plus I don't need a stick that's dedicated for old school MK.

And that layout would barely work for MK9 IMO anyway. I can't even decide on a stick layout for it. Probably just play on pad since it feels designed for that.

Edit: I was thinking that was the bundle that came with the stick, not the SCHWEET ASS BOOKENDS.

My bad.

I'm done buying CEs for any game, unless it comes with some TRULY bad ass shit. Cat helmets plz.

Yeah, they got 6 KEs for each system and 2 TEs for each system. Only one TE was preordered for each system, which leaves the other 1 to be sold and 1 to go to the Grand Prize winner of the Tournament.

Normally I would agree with you, but in the demo Sub-Zero seems a lot slower than he did in Deception/Deadly Alliance. While I love him, I don't think that a slow character would be the best to play tomorrow night, so I'll be playing Scorpion only competitively unless I get some hands on with the game before the tourney.
 
I have yet to see a pre-order art book that feels worth it to me. If it was more like those Japanese art books loaded with stuff, then yeah, it'd be worth it more often.

Its such a smart way to make money though since art books are so cheap to print in bulk.
 
I remember Deception and Deadly Alliance best because I put the most hours into them. He was a more medium paced guy in it than he is in 9, which was good because he could keep up with most of the other characters.

Hopefully I'll be able to get used to the slowness of his character when the game drops. I know I'd love to make him one of my mains again.
 
Yeah, I think I'll be using Sub-Zero a lot and probably Cyrax and Liu Kang.


But I'll play as everyone for fun. Just can't resist doing that in a MK game even if I suck with them.

His special moves are really slow. His normal moves aren't that bad.

Glad I'm not the only one.

I'm talking about how long he takes to get from one side of the screen to the other, too. He just plays slower than most of the others. Like Scorpion, I can close in on my enemy in less than a second as Scorpion.

I've never liked Stryker either. When they first showed it I pretty much thought "why?"

Yeah, I just don't get why they would add him. I don't mind the Special Forces characters like Jax or Sonya at all, but Stryker really pisses me off. He just seems like such a shitty character.

Maybe I'd like him if they'd made him an original character?

Exactly what DLC does the KE of Mortal Kombat include (360 version)?

I have it pre-ordered on Amazon, and I'm thinking of just selling the Reptile Costume, Ermac costume and whatever other DLC it includes as a bundle of eBay.
 
It includes a Scorpion avatar costume and an MK avatar shirt as far as I know. Not sure what else.

There were, but all the vouchers for them say "DOWNLOAD CODE" so I'm thinking they might be downloaded into the game. Then again, it could just be a token you're downloading to get the costume right then.

i liked the bioshock 2 artbook from that LE
course the bioshock 2 LE was actually pretty high quality though i only got it for $10

It's not, that was debunked. The alt costumes are, but the "klassic" costumes are not.
