I see that a good majority of my list is checked off as having "steam holiday sale 2011 gift: counter-strike source" when I was looking for someone to gift it to.

I really wanna get Bioshock 2, but I also heard that Minerva's Den is an excellent DLC. Anyone know if I should have problems getting it to work if I buy the DLC somewhere other than steam?

You buy the DLC through the Games For Windows Live marketplace. It's a GFWL game. Minerva's Den is $5, thought it was $10.

I took the plunge and bought Uraizen LA Snore.

Figured at such a low price it needed to be purchased, but not played by me.

So, New Year's resolutions, anyone? I'd like to find a steady job, continue my education, get a ladyfriend, and get a full band rolling and working on music and playing gigs. That's about it for me.

Drink a tad less to save some money. I'm a beer snob so it gets pricey fast!

Really focus on getting some more research publications out this year now that I shouldn't have any new classes to prep for a few years. Need to get cranking on the publish or perish part of getting tenure. Also just need to beef up the CV if I want to move jobs, not sure I want to stay at my current university/city long term.

Work out more consistently. Thankfully I eat ok and have a high metabolism so I don't put on weight. But I feel crummy when I don't work out regularly and I've been pretty lackadaisical on working out the past 6 months or so. No excuse with having a decent gym in my condo to use for free. Need to get in their 3-4 times a week instead of 0-2.
 
Yeah, I saw the offtopic thread. I figured I'd ask in here, keep it in the family.

I don't drink beer, so I'm safe there. But when drinking shit like Kraken and Coke, I do put a hurting on a 2 liter of Coke. Might have to switch back to screwdrivers to get some OJ while I drink at least.
 
Get back on my jiu jitsu training with a new lifting regime as well. Need to snag that purple belt before 2013, then I will be allowed to instruct classes!

Land a backflip on a snowboard this season.

Work E3, we'll see if this pans out or not.

Start something, either help my mom start her dream noodle shop or my own at home computer repair service. Just need to start something of my own.

Grow my hair out as long as Hank's.
 
I do home PC repairs. It's pretty fun, just this area is too small to get consistent business. Might try to take over a nearby town of 4500 though. Open up shop there and see what happens.

Hmmm not sure on a resolution for this year. I guess maybe:

  • Try and meet someone I can fall in love with
  • Keep working on my sewing and costuming skills and make some epic cosplay for 2013
  • Keep working on trying to finish more and buy less games that aren't on sale (in an attempt to keep the new backlog from growing too much, this was my gaming resolution from last year)

LA Noire for $12.49 is super tempting. Worth it at that price, but I already own for PS3. R* games do get pretty cheap. It could be like GTA $10 or less soon enough. I dunno...

I've never had sex with an animal (though I have dated some total pigs). I think I'll just stick with women and realskin for the next year. The only real bad thing about PB is that your dick smells like it for like 4 days after because that shit does not like to wash off.
