S'pose now's the time to pop in and say that I've finished ME3?
My earlier predictions about it were entirely accurate. Completely spoiler-free shit followers.
The inventory and weapons system is a thousand times better than what we had in ME1 and ME2. The weight mechanic is awesome. Sad not to see a hybrid heat/ammo mechanic. New levelling system much better. Fewer useless powers. Melee mechanics are improved, but it's very easy to miss the last hit of the combo. Wish there were more upgrades. And SMGs. Did anyone use an SMG in this game? Why the

would you use an SMG in this game. If you used an SMG in this game, please come to Saskatchewan so I can hit you.
"Rolling" is bad. It looks silly on enemies, and it makes them behave predictably (eat a few shots, cartwheel sideways, usually
away from cover). I died many times on one terrible boss fight because I refused to believe that it could be beaten entirely by spamming "roll". And rather than adding mobility, it mostly just makes you do the wrong thing. Wanna take cover?

you, you're grabbing some medi-gel. Wanna roll? No, you're picking up a heavy weapon on the ground. Wanna get medi-gel? Hope you like rolling, asshole. ME2 mapped too many god damn things to the spacebar, and the fact that ME3 not only keeps all those old things on the spacebar but adds
this to it? Painful.
Rolling aside, combat is a good deal more dynamic.
Landing hits with biotic powers seems... unreliable.
A few "dramatic" moments completely missed the mark and caused me to burst into laughter.
Graphics not improved much aside from holy shit the eyes are so much more detailed now, but it runs a lot better than ME2.
Some of the new enemies are terrible. Phantom, I'm looking at you.
I never expected a great ending, but what they gave was bad in a very surprising way. So... points for surprising me, I guess? I dunno. Guaran-

ing-tee that the ending will get

ed with via DLC. 100% chance of ending-

ing-with. And not because of some "community backlash" shit, either.
EDIT: Also, why can I still not modify my squad's skills/inventory while on the ship?
Addendum:
Roid Rage McSpanishguy is unneeded but inoffensive. Terrible looking lady reporter has

all for lines and is a bad voice actor. Maybe he's supposed to be a counter-point to the "grizzled veterans" that you're constantly surrounded by? I don't know.
The fact that I can actually have all my squadmates wearing

ing
armour is greatly appreciated.
The new scanning mechanic feels pretty silly sometimes, and the lack of fuel depots makes space exploration a pain in the ass.
There is no reason for renegade/paragon to even exist any more. Which is a good thing, I guess, but it makes me wonder
why it still exists.
