Very disappointed with the netcode in VF5FS. People need to stop posting impressions when their experience consists of only playing their friend in the same fucking state.
Sega did say that VF5 wouldn't work well online.

The worst part is I assumed it would have good netcode and wanted to play VF5FS online since the regular VF5 on PS3 didn't have online play.

From what I remember playing of VF5 online on 360 its better than this is. >_

Alright, SFxT had some rollback problems, so it's one of our connections at the moment. VF5 might actually have good netcode. We did find out that 3sO's netcode is too good because there was zero rollback problems in that sucker.
I was surprised more articles like that didn't show up when Nintendo unveiled WiiU for the first time. At that time it was totally unclear what it actually was (it seemed like Nintendo didn't even really know how the controller was going to be bundled). Doesn't really surprise me that people are still confused though, since that controller was what they focused on entirely when they first showed off what WiiU was (and that was all they really showed). I mean has there actually been a picture of what the WiiU console looks like (that isn't a concept Nintendo showed in 2011)?
It was sitting on stage during the presser today.

Original Virtua Fighter 5 on 360 had some good netcode. This is surprisingly worse. Sega always has to Sega things up so to counter the greatness, they give us something to complain about. You know. SEEEGAAAAA

But seriously, it felt like everything was a quarter of a second off input wise.
I made it better.
Thanks for Hanking and Cranking dat title.
Nothing is surprising about the E3 conference, it's just fun to laugh at silly products and autistic developers trying to be edgy on stage.

TGS has been much better for a while now. Hell if Blizzard unveils a new MMO at Blizzcon, then that would top E3.
There's no Blizzcon this year; they said they were too busy with D3, SC 2 exp., and WoW expansion. Thought to be a major reason why PAX sold out so quick.

Here are screenshots from me and Uraizen's Saint's Row 3 session tonight:

Really? I would have though that with all the stuff they're doing having a conference would have been a good thing?

I wouldn't know about both of those. I've only played the original PS3 version online and it was pretty great.

The original PS3 version was never online. It was the original 360 version that was online Broski.

Camp move time. In a hotel. Forgot how much hotels in this place fucking hated us. Getting dicked around a bit. Had to sneak in to my friends' room because apparently five people is a "security issue" now or some-such horseshit. I wasn't planning on stealing their towels, but I guess I have to now, right?

Body feels alright. Hurts in most of the usual places and a couple new ones, but nothing that slows me down too much. Making the money I was hoping/expecting to make, but no big stand-out days yet. Off to the mountains soon-like.

Also, any update on pricing for the WiiU? I mean, the thing is supposed to come out in like 6 months, no fucking price or official release date? When did they think would be a good time to announce that?

Also, this:

I'll be honest, even though it's basically a mini-game collection, Nintendoland looks pretty awesome to me the more I see of it. It could be the best mini-game collection ever.

No release date/price info yet. If it's really coming this fall, it has to be announced soon I'd think.

And I'm pretty pumped for Pikmin 3.

Josh, I like you guy. But this walking oxymoron stuff has to go. How can you be so stoked for MGR:R and then say you think Nintendoland is awesome? Next thing you know, you'll be living in the Mii-verse. :(

Sorry if I fell into the sar-chasm Frostybro, but I dunno man, I think that's pretty pure. I mean to me, that's what gaming is all about: enjoying the games because they are fun, no matter what they are about.

I don't see how being interested in both of those games is an oxymoron. Obviously they are very different games, but both of them look fun to me. I've never played Pac-man Vs., but I've heard nothing but great things about its multiplayer, and Nintendoland has that Luigi's Mansion style copy of it. Plus the other games they've shown look entertaining as well.

And I assure you, I have no interest in the Mii-verse. I'm simply interested in games that look fun, even if they are in a mini-game collection. I know it's cool to hate on games like nintendoland, but I'm not ashamed to admit when something looks like fun even if it isn't a "hardcore" experience.

Maybet my impression of Nintendoland hasn't caught up with what's been shown, since I got bored during it's focused segment during the presentation and don't recall them showing much of anything there.

You should know anyway that I'm just giving you flak for the sake of giving you flak, friend-o. ;)

The problem with Nintendo land is needing four wiimotes and 5 people to fully enjoy it. I'd rather just play a fucking bored game. or wii sports. Two wiimotes. Just as much fun.

I still think Nintendoland looks lame as balls. Unless it comes bundled, it's pretty much a nonpurchase.

Neither did I, actually.... I like that Bison is there though.

Yeah, their showing of the game during the conference was not that good, but I've watched a few videos since then and it's gotten me more interested. It really seems like the games included would be a ton of fun to me with friends (moreso than Wii Sports by far, and I like Wii Sports). The biggest problem though is whether the games can be enjoyed with less than 4 or 5 people, because I almost never have that many people over, and even if I did, that's a lot of controllers. So unless it has online play (and come on Nintendo, it's 2012... should we really be wondering this?) it's probably going to be cooler in concept than an actual purchase. Sort of like how Johann Sebastian Joust for the Move sounds amazing, but it's probably not something I'll get to experience.

Played a little bit of VF5 tonight. It seems like an odd bird. The inputs seem so simple compared to something like SF, but it hasn't clicked yet.
