This is what I do too. Subtitles is the first thing I turn on when I boot up a game. I don't have the patience for 90% of voice acted lines.

Space missions suck. Don't blame bioware, because they didn't make it. It was outsourced to different development team. Semi-agree on dialogue wheel, but I always pick the one that says "Attack" or "Punch in the face".

Sorry, had Thanksgiving dinner early with the fam, then the wife and I went to see Wicked (got tickets free from work). It was pretty good I guess. I should read the book.

I got some gifts including AssCree3, Sleeping Dogs, and a Roku XS among other things. All online. I don't play that BF in-store shit. If go brick and mortar during BF, I go later in the afternoon, when all the crazy mutherfukers are done.

Apple has 1 day only sale that is not bad (for Apple).
 
I bought the "how full can we make the cover" edition of Batman AC since I can sell my original copy for $15 or so and I get the skins I never bought and the Harley Quinn DLC...

Also grabbed a 32gb microSD card to upgrade my phone's storage.

Now I'm waiting on the God of War Saga, as it might be worth condensing my 3 games into 1 on the shelf.
 
Only things I've grabbed for myself so far are a couple blu rays for $3.99, and new Blu Ray player (Sony S590--my old S350 loads slow as hell, and this one has 3D if I ever get a 3D player, adds wifi as well).

Ordered the Energy Take Classic 5.0 speakers I have for my parents for X-mas as well. Good deal on them on Newegg again. They have crummy old Sony ones even worse than the Sony ones I had before getting these last spring.

Going to see what the Lightning Deal price for the God of War collection is in a little bit, but other than that I'm done I think.

Edit: It was $15 so I grabbed it.

I think I'll put XCOM to the side for the time being. I did run across the teleporting aliens bug last night when I had a bunch of Mutons just appear right in the middle of my squad and wiped everyone out. That sucked, and it shouldn't have happened.

Bought arkham city for $11 through gamefly and the next day its $20 for GOTY but I don't really care harley quinn's dlc is on sale today and thats the only one I want I have no interest in the challenge maps.
 
If anybody in here wants the catwoman dlc for xbox or the master chief avatar male/female codes PM me got my gamefly copies but I already have the codes

Yeah, if you basically always do the same thing, you should come out fine. If you always go light or always go dark, it'll be fine.

Trying to get some semblance of nuance out of the damn thing will fuck it all up. Usually not as bad as DA2's "this is my normal voice THIS IS MY SHOUTY VOICE" thing, but still.

A healer is always needed in both PvE and PvP. Merc healers are very viable in PvP, just takes a dedicated person to learn how to kite on a non-kiting character. Movement is key in PvP, stop for any more than a few seconds is just asking for trouble.

This part of the article made me go "wait, what?":

I find it funny that being like RE4 instead of 5/6 is considered a "return to survival-horror" when RE4 was considered to be a new action direction for the series. I don't mean this in a negative way at all, but pre-RE4 is when the series was survival horror.
 
They meant to say with games like RE 5 and RE 6 being hated this makes a return of a very much loved RE game to console. (I like 6 though)

Wonder what they'll add there wasn't much to do after you beat the game besides hell mode and raid mode.
 
I liked Revelations, but I felt it had more in common with RE5 than RE4. It was pretty damn actiony. And you always had a partner with you.

I stole a friend's 3DS to play RE:R, I haven't stolen an x360 or fixed a ps3 to want to play RE6.

Oh yeah, I have no desire to play RE6. But I don't lump RE5 in with RE6. And Revelations is still a good game even though it's actiony.
