Really? The story amounted to being a gaming version of
The Sixth Sense
soured the story for me that I was enjoying up to that point. Jonathan Blow hyped up the story/message a lot when doing interviews about it being a mind-blowing experience. It was still a good puzzle platformer, but I needed more to make it worth $15.

The Wipeout Quick Look is probably the best one on Giant Bomb and it's even in the same league as Broken Pixels. It even looks like an oddly good bad game in that the bad controls/physics feed into what is appealing about the show.

Yeah, there was a weird half second glitch when you die.
Plus the character model "animation" when dead is so bad, half the time, I was halfway in the floor.

Just plays like a poor mans CoD, and I've played plenty of that already.
Graphics are terrible too, kinda made stuff hard to see.

I know that was a labor of love.

My friend got Plat too, but he cheated and had other Plat players drop the items he needed to hold.
 
Just beat the transformers campaign,the last boss wasn't as hard as I was expecting it to be. I tried multiplayer but its just not for me. Back to ToV now.

My son and I were playing Up The Game. Lot of easy bronze trophies in that one...

It's actually pretty good for a family-game. The co-op requires cooperation! So far, it's a lot of puzzle-solving stuff, but apparently there's some action-oriented bits as well. I'd recommend it.

My P3P order is in "Shipping Soon" status.

Right now, my wife took over the TV, so the PS3 is on, but only to download Qore and Pulse. >_<

I'm trying to get a game of Borderlands PC going with my buddy, but this port forwarding stuff is tying him up.

When did Screened get their own quest system? I wish my Giant Bomb account was a universal Whiskey Media account so I could add to my GB level with the Screened quests.
 
Watching the Move demos on Qore. Damn, this thing is pretty fucking cool. Other than the relatively high cost of entry, I think this is really how motion controls need to be done. Not Kinect, not Wii, but Move.

I bought the game on release day and I watched my one buddy play through it. From just how aggravated he was getting with how epic some of the boss fights were I can tell I'd be needing a new controller at least after throwing it through the fuckin' wall from the more repetitive and tougher parts.

Mind ya, the two end fights for both storylines were pretty epic and took forfrickinever to get through.

Thanks (to Dallow too, I'm just too lazy to go back and find his post to quote him too).

Soul level ended up being about 188, I think.

After getting the frickin' Friend ring, it was all downhill, as I only needed a few souls... I think on my 4th playthrough, I completed worlds 3, 4, 5. Also had to do 1-1, 1-2, and 2-1. Played through 1-3 far enough to get the Iron Key so I could save Yuria... I left a bloodstain back that way with 80k souls cause I just didn't care at that point. :D

And everything I got was my own, no trading or duping. ^_^
 
Finished my first play through of Deathsmiles last night, but man that extra stage is INSANE, like I had to continue every 10-15 seconds in a couple parts because there were so many enemies on the screen and such tight paths that I had no clue where to go because it was just a wall of enemies haha. The game is very fun, but I still have a lot to learn to actually get good.

For some reason I want to get P3P from PSN even though I picked it up on UMD. I guess it's because I like the feel of the PSP Go and my other PSP is the first model...

I'm almost at the end of Ocarina of Time. Not sure if I wanna tackle Majora's Mask yet or not. I've got a handful of other Gamecube games in my backlog. Which one should I play while I wait for my PS3 to be repaired?

-Beyond Good & Evil
-Killer 7
-Gun
-LoZ: Majora's Mask
-LoZ: Twilight Princess

That's the entirety of my Gamecube backlog. I'm leaning towards Killer 7 or Gun (mostly because they are shorter than the others.)
 
I still have zero interest in PSN+. You would think that Sony would at least put together some good deals in the first month or so... but everything has been meh so far.

If you are just about to finish OoT off then I'd say hold off on Zelda: MM for now since it reuses a lot of stuff from OoT. So I guess I'll recommend Killer 7. Just be warned it's pretty pretty insane...

Playstation Plus is funny. Hey, remember all those PSN games that didn't interest you enough to buy? Now you can have them for free! As long as you keep paying us for them.
 
Killer 7 didn't interest me very much, aside from the cel-shading, I guess. Go for Majora's Mask. Keep in mind I only suggest MM because it's my favorite Zelda game, right next to Wind Waker.

Majora's Mask is excellent but strange. I wouldn't recommend another Zelda game right after OoT. Especially TP, since TP is about as close as you can come to remaking OoT without remaking it... if that makes sense.
 
Yeah, I'd rather play Majora's Mask before moving on to TP, but getting kinda burned out on Zelda.

No love for Gun?

Guess I'll try Killer 7 next then. I still gotta get thru Gannondork's castle first.
