So are the free things taken away from subscribers after the month is over? you only get Wipeout HD free for a month, then?

I thought you had the content as long as you were a subscriber?

Either way it means they'll likely repeat content. The whole thing just doesn't make sense to me. I get most of my info from podcasts and they seemed to indicate that subscribers get access to former free PSN+content as well.

Yes correct. And the trial games also are only available when you are subscribed and those don't go away. Every month there will be special discounts, free games, free themes/avatars and then the next month something different. If you wait a year and then subscribe all you'll be getting is more trial games.

It's pretty crappy the way they are explaining it though... but whatever, if it makes them a few extra bucks without them screwing the non players I'm all for it. And again I wont get it...
 
I played about an hour and a half of L4D2 last night with a friend. Game is repetitive as hell. Like it starts out kinda fun, then it's just the same shit over and over. Game has almost no pacing or build up for anything. About as mindless as the zombies you gun down.

And fuck the dudes that tackle you.

More Fallout 3 tonight. Lincoln Repeater > Slavers. ^_^
 
Think I'll start Trinity Universe tonight after I play some Up with my kids. Maybe Borderlands PC if I can get my BT headset working w/my laptop.
 
I played some more SSFIV and realized I suck with almost everyone else other than Adon... >_<

For the first time I'm thinking about learning a charge character... and it's probably Guile.


also, I give a solid nod of respect and interest to the guys who programmed and designed the camera in the new Kane and Lynch 2.
 
I really want to play some games today but I have zero motivation.

I mean, I've been thinking about starting RDR for a bit now, but haven't gotten myself to doing so yet.
I've started PoP, but I'm not very far... not sure about that.
Started LEGO HP, but cooping that with my gf, so that's a no go.
There's deathsmiles, but I don't know if I feel like playing a shmup today.
There's also Joe Danger, but I'm not quite feeling that either.

Goddammit.

Brought a Ps3 to work and ended up playing the Toy Story 3 game (Client owns it). Can't say it wasn't fun, but some of the parts were rage-inducing.

For the first time all year, I'm really being sucked in by these rpgs. I loved Final Fantasy XIII and all, but I've gone back to back with rpg's and I'm having one hell of a fun time. Mass Effect 2>Tales of Vesperia>Persona 3 Portable> soon to be Dragon Quest IX.
