Now that I'm done with Reach on Legendary I decided to start Metroid Other M, so far the game is alright, but the controls are a bit awkward in places (like anytime the camera goes behind her and she turns really slow feels funny) and the plot is fairly awful, which is sad because I like Samus as a character. The problem is that the entire story is just monologue after monologue which is horribly boring, I think they probably could have made the plot that they currently have more interesting if they had just focused on some semblance of meaningful character interaction outside of flashbacks.

Also, hopefully I can finish Dragon Age now that I finally have some time to sit down and play longer games now.

So if I play offline co-op Reach with my friend who only has a Silver membership, then he gets all the cR for rank ups and not me? I'm so confused.


I wish I knew why he ranks up and I don't. I figured since I'm hosting the game and I'm the Gold member, I'd get the rank ups. Sigh.

On topic, I just hit level 21 in DR2 so I think I am going to restart the story (I failed the main case awhile back). I did actually beat the
chef quite easily this time, by just keeping up with him and bringing some knife gloves. Anyone have any recommendations on whether I should keep on leveling or restart? Any must have skills or anything? I would love more inventory slots but for now I think 7 is adequate. My last two level ups I got the roll and drop kick moves.
