Eh, I dunno about Enslaved. I didn't care for the way the camera worked in the demo, yet the reviews are pretty good. It might be worth $25 GC, but I don't usually shop @ Kmart.

Mo looks like he'd gargle $$$ and like it. /shrug

It was either that or Castlevania and I went with Castlevania. That $25 coupon does tempt me to go pick up Enslaved as well. Trying to have willpower though since I promised myself I wouldn't buy any new games until I finish any current games, so I have to wait until Castlevania is done at least.

Just died after about an hour of not saving in DR2 (completely forgot to save even though I walked right by a bathroom). This hour included
me killing Slappy, The Chef and the Groomsman. UGH.

I screwed up earlier and died right after getting the maintenance key. I said fuck it and restarted. Almost like I had played Case Zero on PS3. :lol:
 
Took a break and then went back and did everything. Really, really loving this game (DR2).

Also, played the Castlevania demo. Despite being a huge fan of God of War style games and Castlevania, I thought the demo was pretty bad. The combat was very basic and I thought the sound effects were quite terrible (I usually don't notice things like this in games, but nothing in the game seemed to have any impact). The framerate also makes a beautiful game look like shit.
 
Holy shit, the tearing in DR2 almost made me lose my mind.
Thank goodness it doesn't do it as much in the outside areas.

Fun so far. Still on day 1 but finished the 1-x cases and have free time before 2-1.
Plenty of side cases to do.... I can already feel the time limit tension coming on.
 
I hit MASSIVE slowdown once in DR2, like, shit was ridiculous. Still seems way more technically put-together than the first game, though (anyone else remember the random blank loading screens that loaded you right into a disc-read-error?).
 
The only problems I've had with DR2 so far have been cutscenes not loading properly. I once got a cutscene loaded, but with no audio. Then another one with audio, but no picture. Thankfully I had already hit save points before them so it wasn't a huge deal (since going back to the XMB and back to the game solves the problem).
 
I am kind of glad I didn't get DR2 yet. Hope they patch all dem lil bugs n shit.

Or will they make a PC version?
