Hmm is Lost Planet 2 worth $20? Its $40 at Best Buy and theres a $20 off coupon in the @GAMER magazine that Best buy decided to send me.

I just realized that X-Men arcade will be like 15 bucks and :!

I got interested in LP2 after loving the first one, but then I heard it has horrible checkpoint failures and half hours of gameplay with no chance to save.

I play the online occasionally, its ok.

Tough call whether its worth $20, I was happy paying that for it but I wanted to try the online before it died, I do wonder if LP2 will end up like Bionic Commando and be $10 a few places next year.

Lovin' the MvC roster announcements, the Arthur trailer is so great.

Looking forward to the inevitable Super Joe DLC too.

M.O.D.O.K. looks fun and seems like he'll have a pretty unique playstyle, which I always like.

Mag fuckIN' Neto was just icing on the cake.

Here's to hoping that they put in a Megaman that plays similar to the one in TvC. I love the arm changing.

Gonna snag Brutal Legend for 6 dollars shipped from the Gohastings sale. Yeah I've heard it wasn't amazing, but I liked the demo, I've wanted to play it for a while, and after Psychonauts Schafer has earned my devotion.

The demo is a trick. Once it gets into the RTS stuff it becomes a drag.

Bah. Turns out it's only $40 online, its still full price in stores. When will big box stores realize they need to have same prices between their storefronts, with the exception being clearance type items.
Can't wait for X-Men arcade. Dazzler, woo!
I agree! I'm super stoked! I main'd Colossus and Wolverine in the arcade.
Cool Xmen arcade all we need now is the Simpsons arcade and we'll be set! Also it would be nice if they didn't charge $15+ for them..
Dude, I would seriously pay $20 for it. :D

Yeah, it's probably boring now.
I'll pony up the cash for a bad trip down nostalgia lane and to support it.

This is interesting:

Konami has included a clever twist on the conventional port by adding the option to switch over to the Japanese version of the game. Much is the same here (aside from Japanese text during cutscenes), but enemies will drop health and power items, which greatly alter the challenge of the game. Characters will also not lose health immediately when using their powers – power "orbs" are used first, then the health is drained. The reverse is true for the U.S. version, which used the orbs only after a player was low on health. The Japanese version makes a bit more sense, but again, it's a far easier game – particularly against the bosses.

Also 6 player offline coop for PS3 is welcome. I'm able to do that a few times a year.

X Men the Arcade is pretty mediocre. Capcom owned the beat 'em up scene during the 90's.

And for the record, the last time I played X Men was last year.

Yeah, I loved these type of Arcade Beat'em Up games when I was a kid--this one, Simpson's, TMNT etc. Don't get much out of playing them today. Just too simplistic and repetitive by today's standards.
I feel like there's too much downtime between story cases in DR2 right now.

Has anyone played Phantom Dust?
I used to play Phantom Dust all the time. Was really into the online community for it for awhile.
Anyone know a good site to buy PS1 games from that won't scam me out of my pants.
Why not just buy used from Amazon?

I have fond memories of playing the X-men arcade game in a friends basement. So I'm pretty excited to hear that its finally coming to psn/xbla.

Was this a *special* friend? Your "uncle" that nobody talks about, perhaps?

Cause for someone to have a x-men arcade cabinet in their basement...

Went ahead and ordered Brutal Legend on dat trips, along with Phantom Dust because I've wanted to play that since before I had a 360.

Finally got all the Melee Weapons in DR2, also got the cheese for Eat all foods, use all explosives, use all novelty weapons, and use all ranged weapons. Guess that means next playthrough will be Genocider?

Fun times earlier, frosty. I was wondering what the fuck you were doing slapping me around with the Defiler, until you rezzed me.

Still haven't gotten back to finish Dragon Age yet, must do that soon. I also started Etrian Odyssey 3 even though I haven't beaten the first two, and I was saddened to discover you can't have an Yggdroid in your party till you unlock that class

Goddammit!

When I put in my address for the gohastings order, I put 520 ____ Lane (privacy yo!) instead of 510 ____ Lane.

I e-mailed their customer service about it since it hasn't shipped yet, but is there anything else I can do to make sure it gets to the right place? They don't seem to have an edit order button like Amazon.

Yeah, sorry about that -- I wanted to revive you after we took down the one psycho, but the cutscene somehow did that for you... so when I saw we were right by the save room and you didn't have a lot of health yet, I figured I'd go for it. Since neither of us were using mics, I couldn't warn you. :(

I love this game. ^_^

That was around where I was when I finished, give or take a level or two.

It kinda sucks that getting a co-op game with a stranger takes complete and utter luck. But if co-op has taught me anything, it is that I have to invest in a mic.

I might play a little later to try and get some money to buy all the key items from the pawn shops. I really wanna drive that car, for instance.

EDIT: Just saw the Dead Rising 2 commercial, and holy shit, I just realized that
they show a clip from Ending A, where TK's zombie arm is picking up Chuck.

We need to get you a mic so we can do a power playthrough doing only zombie murder and the main cases (once I finish my playthrough). ^_^

If the retailer won't change it you can try to get whatever shipper they're going to use to change it instead. Or, if 520 ____ Lane exists, you could always go over there and be all "Yo, you're going to get a package for me."
