GGT #49 is the same as GGT #48, but now it's Episodic and costs $10 too much
About 37 or so, Joel.

Also, I think I found a box for those bongos -- I'll pack them up tomorrow and weigh them then hit you with a PM.
I think I was 32 after Overtime.
Yeah, that about syncs up with me, I'm really surprised since the first game I ended in my low 20s. Did anyone else have problems with
Sullivan? He gave me serious trouble, had to retry twice and even then I beat him by the skin of my teeth. I was totally not expecting a boss fight that was straight up ripped out of MGS3.
And thanks, Frosty! :D

Man, this end credit music is goddamn addicting. Downloading NOW.

Edit: What the fuck? I have 51 saved and haven't gotten my Hero of Fortune City cheev. Will I get it after OVERTIME?

Sullivan
wasn't a hard fight for me. It didn't hurt that I had accidentally spoiled myself on how to beat him though...
Stun him with double dropkick, then wail on him as he's stunned. Rinse and repeat.

For "Hero of Fortune City," you have to have at least 61 people saved in your notebook. You start the game with 11 people in the Safe house.

Fuuuuuck, I was so, so close! And thanks for the tip,
I just jump kicked and wore some of the MMA/nail gloves so I couldn't be disarmed.
Haha, just as a follow-up. I totally forgot about Flower, I LOVED that game. I can't really seem to compare the two games in my head to determine which is better because they are so different, so I will just say that Costume Quest is tied with Flower for my favorite downloadable game from PSN and XBLA.
Same here! The two games are nothing alike, so I don't mind calling it a tie between them for my favorite. I'd also have to add in Braid though to make it a 3-way tie for me since all 3 are different. I'm never good at narrowing down favorites.
I logged about 14 hours in since I got it. That's a lot for me.

Well, 14 hours over the course of probably 2 days, knowing you, yeah, that's a lot.

2 more trials, 3 more stages. Platinum, I'm comin' for ya.
done and done. just wonder when castlevania DLC is coming so i know whether to ditch or keep the game for a bit.
There's going to be DLC?

How many reasonably big name games don't get some kind of DLC at this point? It's a cash cow so pretty much any reasonably big name game that sells is going to get some.

Makes them money, keeps some games off the used market for a while etc.

Truer words have never been spoken. I just wish they were all minerva's den for Bioshock 2 caliber.

Playing a bunch of New Vegas and loving it... I think I am about 10 hours in.

No gaming for tonight though, heading to the Phillies game (woot!)

I think I'm going to pick up Costume Quest tomorrow... sounds like my kind of game.
Castlevania DLC = horse armor for the Too Human horse.
Did they ever explain that horse?

I think I messed up in Vegas last night. Without going into detail I pretty much killed everyone in a casino that I probably wasn't supposed to. Oh well! Ive done worse in games.
There's going to be DLC?
That's what posters on GAF have been saying -- what's the game's producer's name? David Cox? Something about fans asking him on twitter about DLC and him implying that it would be gabriel returning to the castle and dealing with Laura potentially, I think.

kanongemini85:
@CastlevaniaLOS Already finished, wonderful game! :) I want to know and explore more, when DLC are to be released?

CastlevaniaLOS (David Cox):
@kanongemini85 no firm date but Gabriel will return to the Castle and Laura will also return :)

Finally cracked the starting lineup for the Pistons. I think I would've got it a lot sooner, but I only play 5min quarters. It can be tough to get enough done to snag the A ratings with such short playing time. Now that I'm a starter and get more playing time, I hit A or A+ ratings consistently playing just 5min quarters, but it's kind of random if the team actually wins the game or not since sometimes the other guys just go into cold streaks late in the game. It's weird to get an A rating and still lose the game.

I probably should have said "there's going to be substantial DLC?"

Guess I'll hang onto it for now then.

I'm thinking I'll still sell mine then just rent it for a day or so when the DLC comes out, if the DLC looks like it's any good and isn't more than $10.

I was kind of down on New Vegas after 10 hours, until I got that town that got fucked up by the Legion.

But now I'm down on New Vegas because it began freezing up on me today. First time was right after an auto-save, but the next time was about an hour after the previous save :bomb:

Just beat DR2 Overtime. Had a spectacular time and I think instead of moving on to another game I may stick around for another playthrough or two. Seriously looking forward to case West, too.

I still need to finish my first playthrough of DR2. For some reason I haven't been putting too much time into, despite really enjoying what I did play (except for some frustrating psychos).

Costume Quest is pretty awesome though. I wish more RPGs had this type of originality and humor.

I really want to get Fable 3 next week... But I promised I'd start holding off on spending for a while. Of course I'm saying that while looking at Gundam Unicorn vol 2. I can't believe they are charging $50 for it...

what the hell? I was playing New Vegas and was just attacked after entering a room. Normally that wouldn't be a problem... but he has information I need. Maybe it was the outfit I was wearing?

Got the stuff for my dual mod of my Fightstick today. Don't know when I'll have time to install it, but hopefully soon so I can not worry about it too long. :)

I was just watching a video for Costume Quest, and I saw your character can transform into a colorful unicorn. Instant buy for me now :D

Unicorn was actually badass too -- last costume I got because of a poor/sneaky design in the second level. :(
French Fries
were my favorite. ^_^

Got Kane and Lynch 2 in from Goozex, started at 3:10 and finished the game at 7:19. Wasn't a bad ride but I would never play it again on the higher difficulties - some things, difficulty initiating the human shield specifically make me think it wouldn't be worth it since you have no other options at close range.

Argh, I got DJ Hero 2 at Gamestop today and it turned out it had already been opened and seems to be semi broken; now I have to go back to a store tomorrow (in the city) because non of the local ones have the game. What a pain. :bomb:

It had its time, say something retarded and maybe one day you'll be sigged.

icebeast is a girl, right? If not all the underaged girl stuff is creeping me out

Besides, I'm already in someone's sig on another forum... and one is enough for me.

The Unicorn was ok, but I stayed with the lady liberty costume. I found the party heal to be extremely useful.

My party always had Lady Liberty...
Other than that, I used Pumpkin a lot.
I wanted to like the ninja, but the special ability was useless mostly, except that one boss fight.

Beefy, we didn't kill teh zomb0rs today. :(

HAHAHAHA, WTF? I had a big group of about 6 Survivors with me in DR2 and a large group of Looters jumped us and 3 of them had spray paint and everytime they sprayed I miraculously jumped out of the way and they sprayed one of my Survivors (usually Elrod). Shit was hilarious. I never knew Looters would hang out in the area in front of the safehouse.

Never had that happen. Only heard them in stores.

I never had them out of stores in my first playthrough, but when I was guiding that group of survivors they were all chilling out in the area before the door to the hallway where the saveroom's at, near the big thingy with posters in it.

Just started playing Costume Quest, I love it.

A quote like that would be a very hard act to follow.

Also for my team in Costume Quest I used the Knight, Robot, and Lady Liberty for most of the game and replaced the robot with the Vampire towards the end (nice to be able to do damage and heal at the same time).

I was playing AC2 waiting for you to wake up! ^_^ I figured you'd send me a PSN message when you got on or somethin.

I lost Gold today.

But since I'm already over Reach, I don't have anything Multiplayer to play, plus I'm too busy trying to get (DR1) Zombie Genocider to care.

That takes a lot of driving in circles.
I know.
I did it. :whistle2:X

It sure was. It also made me think. I know I have such a huge backlog, yet I'll gladly spend six hours doing some menial task just to pick up some meaningless achievement. Somethings wrong here.

Now that I care, I need to pick up a 12 Month card.

It's hard playing shorter quarters in 2K11--if the AI gets a hot run, it's almost impossible to get anything good out of it, ranking and otherwise. I should try playing longer quarters--it'll probably bump my scoring average by quite a lot (currently about 19ppg w/5 min quarters) too, but I'm stubborn like that. :p
