So, are these people selling Diablo 2 + expansion CD Keys on eBay legit? It seems fishy, but they're getting positive feedback. You just get the keys, plug them into blizzard's site, and then download.

I've actually never really tried D2 and would like to, but I don't really want to spend $30 or $40 on the collection.

I dunno about teh fleabay, but DII is a fantastically addictive hacknslash game. I'm sure you can find it much cheaper than $30, particularly if you get the two separately as I've seen each in various bargain bins and clearance shelves...

I think someone recently reported that the RB guitar gets $18. I'm not sure, but I'm looking to trade it in myself since I don't need it.

Yeah, I'm thinking that. Although they have a new, still sealed Samurai Champloo compete box set on sale for $100 right now and that was kinda tempting. The Geneon set, not the dang bootleg that floods eBay.

Sorry Daroga, out here in Hawaii, it's a bit different. I'd say you have a lot more choices than we do. :p But FWIW, I've seen it clearanced or real cheap from CC to KMart...

As for RB2, when does that come out? With RB vs RB2, I guess if you really like the songs in RB it might be worth keeping, but then again they haven't announced if any of those licenses will carry over to the sequel in the form of DLC or whatnot and E3 is just in a few more days.

Holy shit, I'm trading my RB drums in for that limited edition one! My neighbors will be so happy that I can turn it into an electronic set as well.

The Cagney update for burnout paradise that was supposed to hit today only went to ps3. The 360 one is having some unexpected bugs and won't get it until the 24th. I'm a sad panda :(

Finally!

One of the biggest fixes to online play that's being added to this one that I'm super excited about is that car damage is now viewable by all players. I will no longer see a default perfect car when it is really totally trashed!
 
btw ng2 seems short i beat the 1st 2 chapters already on alcolyte

also we need to get a game going when the 360 update goes live
 
Cool. I was playing BP last night actually. I'm terrible at it. Still need like 15 more events to get my A license. :/

In other news, that new Wario Wii game is looking like it will "shake" up 2D platforming.

But srsly, is this thing on? It looks damn fine with the hand-drawn animations and such...

You just simply go in, tell them that you'd like to cancel your pre-order, and they give you what you put down in your choice of cash or credit.

I'll play Jewish Harp/Mouth Harp... I started to play the one I picked up, but stopped a while back. It's definitely going to be in Rock Band 2 at least... competing with the Triangle.
 
Yes! My 360 came back today!

How often do you guys play yours straight and/or how long do you take to come back to it? I'm afraid of having to send it back again after being so eager to play some of my new (to me) games.
 
UT3 is pretty fun on PS3. $18 from gamefly is much better than $60 on 360..
 
Can anyone help me with Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin?

I'm at the part with the two motorcycles on two different levels, and you need to have one character riding on each one. But when I leave Charlotte on the bottom one and ride the top one, she disappears and pops up on mine before I even get to the part where I need to switch to her. What up?

plus you can mod the hell outa the game. I want to get it eventually due to the modding scene on PS3, but I havent had a budget yet that will allow me.

You can switch between both characters, make sure when you call one to the bottom you make them stay. Then use your other character and guide him up top and then switch back and forth as you go...
 
I've tried that, but like I said,
the second character who I'm not controlling at the moment won't stay in place for more then a few seconds, even if I keep switching back and forth.
 
I decided to do a DMC4 PC review to use as a writing sample at some point... I already reviewed DMC4 for the PSTriple, so I used that and thought I'd just change a couple sentences, but I've rewritten the entire damn thing. Which suggests that either I've gotten a lot better at writin' dat shyt or that I hate everything I do a la TMK.
