Use the WAIT Cube relic, hold DOWN on the dpad as you summon them... It will make them stationary... (U got this at the start of the game).

Played the Siren: BC demo. Not too bad for a Resident Evil-inspired horror game. I may try the first episode when it hits. My biggest gripe is that you can only have 1 weapon, so to switch you have to drop the other on the ground. And I'm not sure if the final version will have it, but the demo had unlimited ammo for the pistol you find, which is something that takes away from the challenge that RE had.

I also finally got around to playing the Civ Rev demo, and I'll have to say that I was not at all impressed.
 
If anyone wants some enjoyment from a cool company that is laid back and NOT uptight... watch the AKSYS games panel from Anime Expo, it was uploaded on YT by someone... funny stuff lol.

Did I read someone talking about armored core? I love the armored core series and am getting ever closer to having all the games. I'm still missing:
Armored Core : Project Phantasm
Armored Core : Master of Arena
Armored Core 2
Armored Core 2 : Another Age
Armored Core 3 : Nexus

Did I also read someone talking about Halo 3 co-op? I'd be up for that if anyone wants to go for it. There is an achievement for that isn't there? So I'd need to do co-op eventually anyway.

Weekend gaming plans include finishing off the Rainbow Six Vegas story which I have been chipping away at recently and never originally got around to because of the highly addictive multiplayer, knocking out some NHL 08 and Table Tennis achievements, and I'm either going to start Ratchet and Clank ToD or complete Gears on insane. All the recent Gears 2 coverage has got me hyped.
 
once I am done with the artwork for Daroga, I decided to do a few original pieces and then do a Tekken themed work and possibly a GGT piece... somehow. 90% of it will be composts of urine. it's not art till you add urine.
 
Just got back from the drive-in. Saw Wall-E and Hulk. Wall-E was great, Hulk was just good.

I ate a ton of pizza while i was there though and now I feel sick :puke:


Also going to play some more Chrono Trigger after my stomach feels better.

Rats, the further I get into Eternal Sonata the more I regret missing the item that
starts the game-long fetch quest that runs parallel to the main story
I guess I will "rough" it...I don't feel like redoing the whole game again just for
a few extra stat-boosting items, as nice as they are
. I should be able to beat the game without doing that, right?
 
MLB Power Pros is bad ass. I bought a gutted copy from my local GameStop for my brother-in-law. His birthday is the 4th of August so I wanted to make sure I got one before they sell out there. I tried it out. I was planning on playing a few games. Almost 7 hours later...

Well, they're both right. Some days there's a decent amount of people, some days you can't find any. I've never found more than one game in each gametype that had people playing, though.

Unfortunately my only experience with mods has been that they crashed the game. Seems that most people are just playing the standard stuff, especially since the PC version is dead.

I'm currently turning my room upside down in order to find the cord to my Zune so I can charge it before going to work this afternoon. I'm not sure if I'll be able to survive without listening to something(atleast until the sun goes down and I can play my DS).

Had to jump on GTAIV for $44.99 at Amazon since I had a $25 GC laying around. I couldn't get into GTA3 and haven't played any since.

But for that price I'll give it a try, if I don't like it I can get 1000 points for it on Goozex right away since it's in high demand.

Gaming this week has just been finally playing Call of Duty 2 and still playing some Call of Duty 4 online.

I traded in either last year or the year before a ton of CDs and a few games and dvds during one of those bag bonus promotions. Wound up with a 60gig ps3, bought a few games and anime dvds with the credit since then, and still had $200 left on a card. Did a little more trading yesterday and it bumped me over $300, which was impressive. So you can do really well, but to get the biggest $$, opt for store credit instead of cash.

Well, I forgot the 25% off used 360 coupon expired last night at GS, so I'm gonna have to pay normal price for the used copy of Grid they're holding for me. But I may just pick up :ps3: Dirt used with the new coupon. The ps3 framerate is actually better for Dirt than the 360, believe it or else.

TMK, honestly just wait for the PS3 version announcement. The PS3 version for US is going to be lightyears better than the JPN one. But if you can't wait, you can't wait.

People are shocked that the PS3 won't get a price drop this year. WHY? WHY? WHY? WHY? They dropped the price $200 in a year, and people think it's not good enough. Come on. Ridiculous. Sure, they got rid of PS2 BC, 2 USB ports and card readers but they still have wireless and an ethernet port with every system (and in August, probably Rumble)

Anyway, played some more Eternal Sonata this morning. This game...it's not...good. It's not...terrible either. It's...below par. I'm early yet, so hopefully it can grab my attention by the time Chapter 3 rolls around. Because if RPG's are supposed to get your attention early, this one fails miserably.
 
PS3 doesn't need a price drop. Neither does 360. Just my opinion of course.

You know what needs a price drop? The crazy prices on these wanky LE versions of games. Geezus.

I mentioned it in the PS3 forum a few times.

Sony has lost almost around $3 billion due to PS3 production (this was mostly the early years when they were losing $240-$300 per console sold) and at least with the 40GB now, they are breaking even with manufacturing cost (they still lose money due to retailer loyalty and shipping). Also with the weakening dollar (causing them to lose more money), there's no way I see them reducing the price. Also, the 80GB (although they lose more money over it) continues to sell out, so they've already justified the price pretty much for now.

Well, the reason for the 40GB daroga was they would be able to take a smaller loss on it. In ways, Sony would rather take a small sales loss, and just be closer to break even them sell more, and lose more money per console sold.
