Comic-Con International is always in San Diego, yep. Biggest/longest running convention of it's kind. It's just picking up more and more mainstream juice (movies, gaming, tv, anime) with each and every year.

Geek's heaven pretty much.

Always a great time at Comic-Con.
 
Is there Thundercats stuff at SDCC? I'm curious since the Gears of War guy was supposedly working on a CG film? I can only imagine that it'll be awful, but I've not heard anything about that since.
 
I threw up my 60GB PS3 on craigslist for $500 with Tekken, Everyday Shooter, and Warhawk on the hardrive along with a cheapo bluetooth headset, one SIXAXIS, Ratchet ToD, and Motorstorm. I'm going to trade MLB The Show. I'm interested to see if people bite.

I realized I can also run an external Blu-ray drive from my Macbook to my HDTV.

If I sell it, you get first dibs. I love Chrono Trigger, so I doubt I'll be selling it. It's cart only, since I picked it up at a used game store. It's in great shape though.
 
Man, dial-up is soooo slooooow. I do not miss it at ALL.

The only Chrono Trigger quote I can remember is that robot you fight at the carnival in the beginning. "My name is Gato, I'm made of metal parts..something something..and win 15 silver points."

Oh and I managed to beat DMC4 before I left. Awesomeness.
 
Just trying to get the most out of the BBV flips, lol. Still have to go through Jumper, Golden Compass and Monster Madness by the 20th.

Sweet. Thanks. The ones on half are $45 cart only shipped. If I am shelling out that kind of money, I either want to know where it is coming from or see a picture.

I only played the PSX(crappy)port of Chrono Trigger. I would beat up Gato for hours. Of something in the fair you could do over and over for silver points. This was my favorite line from the game that I remember.

Soul Calibur IV I'm buying on PS3 without a doubt. I usually buy the PS3 version because that's where the majority of my friends are online for multi-player games (my friends list is around ~70, out of 100, roughly 55 I see regularly playing)

But enough of that, I didn't really want to go there.

I played some Eternal Sonata on 360 today. Put another hour into it. I'm liking it, but the story does seem to fall apart later on like some have claimed, but I'll try to finish it. I also still have 1600 points to spend on XBLA. Originally I was going to get SC, but wasn't happy about no mission mode (I'd prefer to not buy a game I already own).

Played CoD4 tonight with CAG. Pretty fun like always. Played more SingStar myself. Like always, I'm addicted to it. :lol:

The PS1 port is pretty bad, mainly due to the loading, sound issues, and slowdown. The added cutscenes are neat though.

I'd always go back and beat on Gato with new moves. Triple tech his ass into oblivion. ;)
 
Just watched Batman Begins and showed my brother Everyday Shooter. I think he's hooked. Gonna watch Cloverfield or Spidey 3 next. He hasn't seen Spiderman 3 but I don't think I can stomach it after seeing it in theaters.
 
I have singstar PS3. It's ok. Nice to have videos of the original artists, but most of the songs I wanted from those GAP surveys never made it. There's no DLC I want yet either. :p

If we're talking multiplatform, it really depends on the how each version turns out and if CAGs or anyone I know are going to support a particular platform for a game. I don't automatically favor one over the other for any other reason.

DMC4 agrees better with me on PS3 than 360, but I got most of my FPSes for 360 since I know more people online on 360.

I watched Hellboy II this afternoon. Fun, entertaining movie. I liked it. Wow, next week is Batman and I'm concerned because I'm on-call that week and I have no idea how bat-shit crowded it's going to be at the theaters.

And as far as SD Comicon, I need to know one thing: when is Kristen Kreuk making her appearance?!?

Stupid random thought: Trish from DMC is one hawt demon chick. I want.

I almost broke down and bought the PSX version just now. All this CT talk makes me want to go play it. I am about to buy the $45 cart from Half... I am at a weak point guys. So the DS gets Chrono Trigger when?

Really though I'm not even sure about that one, because the game was pretty crappy.

I put in PGR4 today to see if I should throw it on Amazon, and ended up playing it for like 4 hours. Such an awesome game, plus Geometry Wars Waves.

Problem is they don't guarantee case and manual, and buying used online means you can't tell if the disc has been used to shampoo someone's dog or for holding tobacco chew spit. I assume 99% of gamestop online's inventory is in one of these two categories.

Dammit, now I wanna play SingStar! I'll probably do some "quiet karaoke" later. This episode of 48 hours is interesting.

And I'm jonesing for that new ultralux RB2 drum kit. RB2 is gonna rock hard it looks like. And free RB1 DLC? Oh yeah, maybe I'll go PS3 this time, since apparently I need to buy all new instruments since my existing ones are now out-of-date shit anyway.

However, if RB and GH become the new "Madden"s of music games I will turn the devil horns into middle fingers. I ain't re-buying game peripherals every year as that is fuck ing insane.
