I was pretty much all Nickelodeon and Toonami, with a good dose of Gargoyles from Toon Disney as well

After that though I developed a strong distaste for all things anime, partly because I was taking Japanese in highschool and was surrounded by retards. That lasted until recently where I've started to come across some really great shows. I've never tried manga but I'd probably get sucked in if I tried it.

I started to like romance after FFX and VIII. Been a softy ever since. Chick flicks are surprisingly terrible in that department though :whistle2:&

edit: oh i turned 21 45 minutes ago :bouncy:
Happy b-day. If you wanna spoon with me and JSP later, that's fine.

Happy Birthday/Valentine's Day!
Enjoy your half hour at the massage parlor.

Also, JSP, go to your local massage parlor.
Spent well over $100 on that meal for two and we both thought it sucked.
Nothing worse than spending money on food you don't like, especially at that price.
Wow, that does suck. I don't know I've never been that drawn in by really expensive places, I guess I'm kind of a cheap ass (go figure); and in my experience paying a lot extra for food rarely equates directly to how good the food is, I mean sure it typically tastes better but not proportional to the amount of money.

Also, on a side note I've found that being a vegetarian is actually often cheaper when I go out to eat though since most places obviously charge more for dishes with meat in them.

Ya chick flicks typically don't do it for me either (although I have enjoyed some, but those are few and far between), the problem is most are romantic comedies, which wouldn't be a bad thing because I do like humor mixed with romance; but the problem is that chick flicks magnify the comedy to the point where the entire plot just becomes one stupid totally illogical scene after another all of which totally overshadows any attempt at romantic plot development; which leaves me wondering how the two people fell in love at all.

Have fun at the massage parlor, Panzer. :bouncy: Also Happy Birthday, bro!!

I played drums for about 5 hours today. Working on new music is awesome. Basically woke up at 2 PM, drums, food, drums, food, games, drums. That's my whole day. :bouncy:

Going out and spending anywhere near $100 on a meal is just insane. If I had a girlfriend, I'd just make her a big ass delicious meal, probably fire up the grill and smoke a bunch of meat with a side of minestrone soup or some shit. But alas, I'm single, and I'm going to go home and cook up a bunch of pork chops and mashed potatoes for myself. And drown my tears in Dew.
icebeezy leave a homoerotic comment on my blog
These things have to evolve naturally, how do I know what to write when I don't even know what my own true feelings are.

Of the times I've spent that much cash on a meal, (i think the most was nearing $200), each time it was fucking great. An absolute pleasure to taste and consume.

I really like eating at superfine restaurants. Dallas only has a couple that I'd consider close to world class, but many others that are up there. Obviously it can't be a usual thing, more like every other month.

I really want to go to The French Laundry in California. Looks so good.
Even an all veggie dinner for icebeezy

This was the one bad experience. Screw that place.

Hmm, my most expensive meal was. . .I spent like $26 at some place located on the beach in Malibu. I had shrimp tacos with refried beans, guacamole, rice, and a few Dews. That might be the most, that I can remember anyway.
Hey, don't ignore me, I issued you a challenge on behalf of the FGT. You said you'd kick all of our asses in BlazBlue because you played Guilty Gear but never did. I said I'd hook you up with a way to play Guilty Gear online if you accepted the challenge. It'd be you versus an anonymous FGT member.
That's because jman told me via MSN on what Guilty Gear you were talking about. I don't plan to go through the trouble to make it work. ;) Sorry if I missed your reply dude.

I wasn't happy about the recorded match a while ago, but whatever, that was the past.

No plans for Valentines Day, outside of receive my blu-ray of Summer Wars.
Didn't plan on getting Tactics Ogre.

Only things for the PSP on my radar is 012 and Persona 2 of course.
I have Tactics Ogre, YS I&II, Third Birthday, Dissidia 012, Phantom Brave, Legend of Heroes: Trails of Sky, and FFIV Collection all on my radar. There are some others I might get too.

Yea, he told me he only mentioned the dreamcast emulator. If you don't like that idea then we can just use the PC version.

Spent 70.00 last night on dinner at the sushi place.

Most I ever spent was 150.00 at a steak place.

Its not like my gf expects me to buy her everything. She gets a lot for the apartment. I hate when girls who expect a guy to get them every little thing, some independence is good. Especially when she works twice as many hours as me, and makes 10.00 more an hour.

She's even bought me a couple games for no reason. RDR was a gift from her.
i think you knew i was single from june 2007
I've been single every year since August 1986.

I kind of want Tactics Ogre but I think I'll pick up Radiata Historia first and wait for the price to drop a little on Tactics Ogre.

I'll probably spend around $70 for dinner tonight. Anymore than that is silly.

Luckier the Mrs. never asks for anything, and barely wants anything. So she's always been very inexpensive.
I'm pretty surprised at the amount of people here who don't know how to ride a bike. I always felt like it was something anyone could learn in a day or so, but I guess not. Just out of curiosity, for those of you who can't ride a bike, do you know how to pogo-stick?
I know how to pogo stick really well actually. I like jumping really fucking high then hopping off of it before I get to the ground, though.
Oh damn it, I know kanye west is a moron but i think i love his music .

I'm listening to College Dropout and I'm mad at how much Im ennjoying it
Man, JSP! Kanye is awesome. I've got his entire discography on my iPod! Literally, the only other artists I've done that for is Gaga and MCR (and Jonathan Coultan).
i bet we can fit in another ggt before the mvc3 one
I BET YOU'RE RIGHT!!!

Happy Birthday, Panzer!!!! :D

Man, today's Valentine's day... The day I relive every breakup with notes! WOOO! Writing a romance novel about my life GGT!!!

Edit: WOOO! MvC3 is finally in the "Shipping soon" state on Amazon! I can't wait for tomorrow! I just got a text from my friend at Wal Mart and he said I should come by tonight because they're having a tourney for action figures and posters.

Maybe that is true.

Time travel~

speaking of which I've been listening to "Best of" clips from the first 2 years of The Hotspot. It's hard to believe I only started listening to podcasts after high school... I really hope Rich Gallup shows up at Giantbomb's PAX East Panel.
word on the street is the Tactics Ogre remake is the best game ever made.

looks like i'll be pre-ordering for those tarot cards
Man I'm kind of tempted, because I really liked the GBA Tactics Ogre (even though I didn't beat it); also tarot cards are fairly awesome. But I'm trying to get fewer full price games this year, I basically never finish SRPGs, and I'm sure it will drop in price.

Decisions decisions (and not much time to make them). :whistle2:k

Most spent for a meal was ~$200 at a fancy seafood place, and I HATE seafood.
