Awesome..that means Heaven and Hell tour, and my annual trip to see them at the Casino will be scheduled for 2009, I'd hate to break the 2 year streak. I love bands full of old guys who tour until they drop dead. THAT is a work ethic.

I just read about this on bravewords.com. They're saying it's scheduled for late April, but it'll probably leak earlier than that. It's one of my most anticipated releases this year, along with a new Down and Maiden(hopefully).

The instrumentals are fine, I hope that's not a final version of the song. It sounds to me that the vocals aren't really that prevalent and masked behind all the instrumentals.

I saw an article on Blabbermouth earlier today, some press heard three new songs with some impressions. Could probably find it easily.

Damn..I just read that Exumer is doing their first (?) North American tour/show (hazy on the band history) in California in May. Man I really wanna go! :drool:

I'm going to give it a good shot. I'll either have to charter bus that shit or suck up paying for gas (assuming I buy my first car by then which I should). I could think of at least one friend I could get to come to stomach some of the cost.

I doubt I'd ever get another oppurtunity to see them live so I'm going to have to.

EDIT: Just checked and it will actually be on Saturday March 28th, so I'd have to fly there. Thankfully my friend's deceased father was a pilot and I believe he can get cheap plane tickets.

I don't even know who's singing with Razor now...I wish they would get Sheepdog back. Bob Reid is cool but Sheepdog was the shit.
 
Suicidal Tendencies has a new disc out if anyone cares. I'm not sure what the hell it is: if its rerecorded material, new stuff, a full blown new album etc. Can anyone fill me in? I'll probably pick it up soon.

I have to take this writing class at college. The teacher had us introduce the person sitting next to us with some fact about them. My friend next to me told the teacher my name, etc etc and said I was into "metal music". The teacher made a face like someone had just farted. She asked "you actually like that stuff?". She asked what my favorite band was and I said Motorhead. Now I know Motorhead ain't full blown metal but still, they got me into the whole thing. The teacher was clueless and was like "Do they wear motors on their head?". She was also like "is it fast and loud?" So I'm just assuming that my teacher thinks I'm a satanist cause she was giving me some really weird looks. Lame story, but it's metal related so what the hell!

Well Motorhead (or at least Lemmy) don't consider themselves metal, but I see your point. I've had discussions with some people who think they are and think they aren't. Regardless, they fucking rule so it doesn't matter to me. :D
 
I'll definitely look for the new ST, I used to be really into them; especially if it's new material. Actually an ST concert was the first concert I went to.

I'm still not sure what it is, because they have a No Mercy track on there. Maybe it's an EP sort of deal? I have no idea.

Yeah not a best of. You're right. I think the "Come Alive" song is a new recording. I'm for sure gonna pick it up just for the No Mercy tracks...I don't think that stuff has ever been on cd before.

The aforementioned three, Blood Freak, Lord Gore, Frightmare, Splatterhouse, Impetigo, Ghoul, Coffins, Impaled, Zombie Ritual

Not sure if they'll have all of that, but those are things they would have carried at one point.

Ok thanks. Hopefully some of that stuff is on sale haha. Also sweet is they have the Toxik reissue. I've been looking for that one.

As I found when I broke the OTT months ago, you just need to make sure to take the media tags out
