Grammy nominated King Diamond screams "Metal Heads Unite!!"
Well now this is interesting: Bolt Thrower worship crust, with a female vocalist. Awesome.
I must have it. Also, Baltimore's OAK is releasing their first LP soon. Check it out http://www.myspace.com/oakdoom

Lastly, the legendary Reptilian Records is closing down...*sigh*.

Reminding all to buy their Destruction tickets as they went on sale through all normal ticket outlets yesterday.

I know I got mine and also bought for Darkane/Warbringer.
Oh man you need to check them out ASAP. Bush's vocals go so good with the guitars. I think they are criminally underrated
I grabbed Symbol of Salvation yesterday. I really did like it a lot. I thought it dragged a bit with a few of the songs in the middle, but overall it's a really strong album. I'll definitely be getting the rest of their albums here in the next few days. Thanks for the recommendation.

Awesome!! Check out March of the Saint...that is some old school shit right there.
Hey Crim is there any way I can RSS Feed your show into my Zune?
No idea, I'll look into it.

Also, Pentagram is doing a show in Baltimore in March with a reunited Moonshine! You should really try to make it to this show Sneaky, that or MDF.

Happy Holidays guys.

Man, I would like to, but I'm close to 3000 miles away from Maryland. And very poor. I don't see that happening.

Since my birthday is the 24th, I got a couple of presents today, including this shirt:

Ok cool. Let me know how that goes!

Nice JP belt Canadian Man! I know people rag on that album a lot for all its' cheesy songs...but that album kills. I'll never get sick of it.

And since it's Christmas....

Hmm see Anal Cunt on Saturday or not? Also, I've just gotten into Gigantic Brain, good stuff.
If they all sound pretty bad, don't bother. Not like Anal Cunt will add to quality there.
This.

The only thing good about Anal Cunt is their song titles are worth a laugh.

While this is very accurate, I find Seth Putnam to be a fascinating person.
I know they're not metal, per say, but Kylesa and Amebix are playing around here in February...might be a crazy/fun show.
For fucks sake, SEE IT. Kylesa are awesome live, and it's motherfucking AMEBIX.

Also, Cynic supporting Meshuggah? fuck that noise.

Is anyone familiar with the BC Rich "Virgin" guitar? I'm thinking of picking one up (it's on sale for 200 bucks at the local guitar place). Is it any good?

That's a good thing, that way you won't have to sit through Meshuggah.

Kylesa and Amebix are also playing in Philly soon, don't know if I can make it to the show though. Definitely go check out both bands if you can.

I'm not familiar with it but you usually get what you pay for.

I hear nothing but bad things about the more affordable BC Rich models, haven't played on myself though.

I got my Destruction and Warbringer/Darkane tickets a couple of days ago :bouncy:

Damn that sucks. I might just end up getting it. I have no idea how to play anyway so I'm not looking for a fancy ball busting guitar just yet.

Yeah, if you're just starting out get something cheap for practice. I had a shitty Yamaha for my first guitar and then a cheap Jackson, now I'm holding out for a Steinberger. I don't know, I kind of want to start playing drums or maybe bass, guitar's getting boring. Everyone and their grandmother plays guitar now, it's hard finding a decent bass player or drummer.

That's true. Of all the people I know who play, none of them play drums. There seems to be a lack of drummers, and if they do drum they suck.
hey hows Daath? i only heard the song War Born so far and i liked it.
I hated Daath, live anyway.. The most generic shit. I haven't listened to their albums, though.

Anyone else heard the new Kreator tracks? They probably leaked a while ago but I just heard them. I really liked them.

Yeah I really dig it. I've only heard a couple tracks so I'll wait until the whole thing comes out. I'm gonna pick it up. I liked the track Destroy What Destroys You. I thought that one was pretty cool.
Cold Lake isn't their best album, but I think it's underrated by a lot of people.
