wat.

It's freeware?

Hato-san first released it in 2011 on a few torrenting sites and included a little introduction to the game. If you go to the official site right now, you'll see it listed that the demo has seven pigeons whereas the full version has eight (and more scenes). If that unlockable pigeon is that important to you, then buy it by all means. I played it free about a year ago and found it just as boring as most of the other visual novels I've played (term used loosely).

On a similar note, did I miss a one game minimum on the 1C bundle? I can't find anything to pair with Armored Princess to get the bonus games (everything I'd even be halfway interested in playing otherwise is DRM-Free only, which I have no desire to bother with).

Nope. They don't do 1 game minimums for megabundles like this, since the minimum price is already lowered.

theater of war bro
Forgive my ignorance, but how exactly does this differ from Men of War (beside being set in WW2 instead of the cold war)?

You could get starwolves 3 since it has cards.
I actually have it from a previous bundle and have held off redeeming it because I hate having games I know I will never touch on my account when possible. Thanks anyway though :)

Poop, guess I need to pick something else then before it ends...any recommendation besides King's Bounty and Men of War?
Go with one or more of the DRM-free. They aren't on any sort of client so it's not like you can hold out for Steam, and if they end up getting added to Steam you may end up with a key anyway.

Otherwise, Rig'N'Roll is way more fun than it should be.

I got UFO: Afterlight as my second purely because I currently can't get it on Steam. You know what they say about what you can't have.

Are the other UFO games worth? I'll get afterlight because steam and... Xcom.

I played the first UFO game...forget which one it is here....was ok....little buggy but alright. I'd say just go for the latest as it seems to be the most polished at least according to reviews.

We won't be getting steam keys for When They Cry.
So instead of the excuse reason being "you're not getting keys because the Steam version is a slightly improved version", it's "you're not getting keys because the Steam version isn't DRM-free"? :whistle2:?

I guess it doesn't really matter, though: both of those can be rephrased as "you won't be getting Steam keys because we want to sell you the same game again."

Most likely it's "we don't know if these games will be on Steam, we haven't figured out the logistics of giving Steam keys if they do, so we'll give a noncommittal answer."

Nah. The responses I'm talking about are ones given out once the games in question have been greenlit.

Did anyone get Armed Seven from the D2 bundle?  I don't have very many side scrolling shooters and was wondering if this is a good one?

The item doesn't have a Steam Greenlight link, so I never thought there'd be a chance we'd receive a Steam key, to be honest.

Not getting the second half of the game bothers me more than not getting a Steam key.

I replied to you on GOG about that.. It would never have had a greenlight link, even if they were to provide Steam keys.. It was greenlit a week or two before it got bundled.

These bitches are crazy. I bought this shitty re-bundle just to get a Steam key for Higurashi. More like Higurashit: When They Minge About.

Next bonus is up: it's a djvu of an elephant prostate-milking J-Drama script, and it's already the best thing here.

How come they're (1C) not giving steam keys for some of the games in the bundle? Streets of Moscow for example.

Also, i dont even see UFO Afterlight on steam.

I explained that in an earlier post. Streets of Moscow is only available to buy in the 1C Racing Collection on Steam, same for AIM Racing. I'm not sure why there are steam keys for UFO Afterlight, maybe they have a supply of keys before it got removed from steam.

sucks maybe ur right my lord

Have you guys even tried Streets of Moscow or are you just trying to pad your Steam count? I actually own it (from Gamersgate) and it's a pretty bad racing game. In some ways, I can't wait until Steam becomes a general distribution network on which anyone can put their shitty games and then we can stop this obsession with amassing Steam keys.

Nope, but I'm kind of like ashes with racing games. I'll give the games a chance, and they make their way through my backlog faster than games from other genres.

If anyone cares, the next bonus for the Doujin Bundle 2 Suguri Collection is on Greenlight (in other words go vote so I can get my key, hopefully) ^_^

Is it worth 75 cents?

ed: Only 7200 bundles sold? Didn't the first one do much better?

How ya gonna conduct a Japanese bundle featuring a game called Armed Seven that has nothing to do with some samurai shit???

Broke down laughing at the title of EXCEED 3RD - JADE PENETRATE BLACK PACKAGE and deemed it and Suguri 75-cent worthy.

If I catch a case when the shadow government finds this on my computer then I'ma get pissed and hold everyone here responsible.

First one did way better because of Steam cards. Cherry Tree cards were worth a lot, and they still hold good value. This bundle has too many repeats.

eXceed 1's cards are going for 20 cents minimum & 3's are in the high 20s. 1 has three drops and 3 has four drops. Stupid profit.

Somethin's fucked when you can't give away money.

Goodness gracious yes. Exceed 1 and the Exceed 3rd OST rounds this out. Suguri is icing on the cake.

Suguri is weird, it plays a bit like a flying robot battle game only with little girls. It's a total clone of Wartech: Senko no Ronde and also feels a lot like that one robot game that used twin stick controls for tank tread style turning that I can't remember (Though THAT was a 3D behind view game, but the ideas carry over). If you don't know each, then imagine that the movement is a little stiff, playing heavily on dashing to trigger different moves, cooldowns and lockon management.

As a standard shump, Suguri thus takes a lot of getting used to. AoS strips out the linear levels and bosses and makes it a versus game which is really where the mechanics stayed from and should probably stay. Still, I enjoy both.

Also thumbs up for Armed Seven.

Fun fact: The sequel to Suguri, Sora, was picked up by another group that added crappy DRM to it and a (reportedly) bad translation. AoS2, which included the whole team of ladies from Sora, never got brought over legally, sadly.

They were still around 80 cents when I got a booster pack before this shit bundle went live.

Lemme rephrase that, Exceed 1 is really, really rough and ugly and I think it's paced pretty terribly. it has talent, but I don't think you should waste your time on it.

I remember getting a Pegnuin game (Sedna?) from a bundle, and that's only available in a pack as well.

Although that other guy said Streets fo Moscow sucks anyways... i just find it unlikely a racing game can suck. they're so easy to make.

Yes, but Penguin's Arena has a separate entry in the steam registry for steam keys.. Streets of Moscow doesn't.

I'm in need of assistance. For those that downloaded the Suguri Collection, did you have problems with trying to play the Acceleration of Suguri HD? I'm getting a black screen then a message saying "AoSuguriHD.exe has stopped working".
