[quote name='Backlash']For those of you who can pass Mosh 1 in Raining Blood, how are you doing it? (Note: I'm playing on Hard).
Are you doing pull-offs for the triplets? Or "reverse hammer-ons" (tapping)? Are you even trying to play the orange ones or ignoring those? Any advice would be great.
I can get in the upper 70's% on the slower speed and sometimes on the slow speed, but I am typically around high 40s or 50% on regular speed

I got a 5* on Raining Blood a couple of days ago, here are my tips regarding Mosh 1:
Use your first three (index, middle, ring) fingers [obviously] and learn to roll your fingers.
When I say roll, do it as if you're bored and you roll your fingers across the top of a table.
This is the only part where I play with my thumb over the neck, otherwise I just play in a traditional position with my thumb behind the neck. ONLY strum the parts that BEGIN each three-note pulloff. There is a constant beat that sounds with the bass drum (I think so) that you should strum to, and pull of the other 3 notes.
Pull off, FAST. It's easier to just listen to the song and listen to the beat to strum and then just roll your fingers, shifting down/up a fret to access that orange button. If you're just staring at the note chart, you're going to get overwhelmed and confused.
