What's been your GOTY so far? We've had some great games this year so I was curious what CAGs favorites have been in 2013. Try to limit it to games that launched this year.

It's a difficult call for me. Ni No Kuni, Last of Us, Bioshock Infinate, Tomb Raider were all stellar. But I'm going to make a bit of an oddball choice and say Deadly Premonition: Director's Cut. I know it's been out on Xbox for a few years (which I never beat thanks to the game ending glitch) so of course I'm talking about the PS3 version. This is the first PS3 game I Platinumed. I'm basing my choice on sheer enjoyment and I can't tell you enough how much fun I had with this one. So says Mr. Stewart.

The Last of Us.  Followed closely by Animal Crossing New Leaf.

Though I still need to play Tomb Raider (have the PS3 version on the shelf) and haven't picked up Bioshock Infinite yet.  Also need to get and play Fire Emblem on 3DS.  But I'm pretty skeptical any of those will past TLoU for me as it may well be my favorite of the generation.

Tomb Raider.

Couldn't even finish Bioshock Infinite, but I'm playing The Last of Us later this week and hoping it's another GOTY contender.

The Last Of Us hands down. Tomb Raider was great as well but The Last Of Us is a game I'm still thinking about a few weeks later. I'll probably play on a harder difficulty at some point to witch I haven't done with much in quite a while. So so good.

Tomb Raider because I honestly didn't have high expectations going in, but it just blew me away. That's why it wins over Bioshock Infinite and TLoU for me, I expected those to be great and they were. Tomb Raider actually surprised me and I think that has made me like it even more.

The Last of Us is pretty much my clear cut GotY thus far. There are many games I enjoyed this year but LoU left a mark on my mind... plus the MP is fun as hell.

Bioshock Infinite and TR are distant 2nd/3rd. I don't see anything else this year challenging TLoU until GTAV.

Tomb Raider, but I expect Watch Dogs or Beyond Two Souls to compete, and Pokemon X and Y. As of right now, The Last of Us would barely break top 5 for me.

It's either between Aliens: Colonial Marines, Star Trek, or Walking Dead Survival Instinct. Too hard to choose one. GOTY stands for garbage of the year right?

Probably BioShock Infinite, closely followed by Tomb Raider. I also loved Dead Space 3.

I enjoyed TLOU but it wasn't GOTY material for me.

Haven't played TLOU yet, but I think Tomb Raider is currently my favorite game of this year.

Which, when that was announced, didn't think would ever happen.

Hmm

I guess the ones that I remember liking the most are Revengeance, Animal Crossing, and Luigi's Mansion.

I'm going to refrain from choosing Deadly Premonition DC since that was already my pick in 2010.

For me probably Tomb Raider, Fire Emblem Awakening, or DotA2 (it's officially out now).  But Tales of Xillia and Saints Row IV might be contenders, and I still have some other games from this year to get through as well (although I've been beating older games I have on Steam lately).

Well if I'm not counting stuff that I'm playing in either alpha or beta then probably Shadowrun Returns as you not only have the base game but also whatever the community can put together before the end of 2013. (oh and Berlin of course)

Cube World, Legend of Dungeon, most likely Starbound whenever it hits beta, and a lot of smaller indie stuff that I have no clue as to whether they are actually 2013 releases or not.

At the moment for me it goes:

1. Fire Emblem: Awakening

2. Animal Crossing

3. The Last of Us

4. Project X Zone

I've played other games but those are the ones that are on top right now.

It's a tough call, but Metro Last Light over Tomb Raider.  I just dig that old school shooter vibe it had going for it (Quake, Unreal, Wolfenstein) on top of being a great game.

The Last of Us, because not only is the single player great, but I'm still playing the multiplayer nearly every night, it's great!

Bioshock Infinite for a pretty close second.

So far, it's Ni no Kuni for me.

I had been psyched about that game for a year or so and it managed to exceed my expectations.

Good to see a vote for Ni no Kuni. It was the first JRPG I finished in a while and it reminded me of why I love the genre.

Same here. It wasn't even on my radar and I tried it on a whim. It was one of the most enjoyable experiences I've had in awhile. It gets my vote, at least until I complete Fire Emblem which will rank up there too.

I feel like I haven't really played a whole lot of games that have been released this year.

Out of what I have played, The Last of Us and Tomb Raider definitely stand out.
