Gears is way more balanced now that it was back in the day, so I don't see how you can knock that game for not being balanced. They shouldn't have listened to the people who bitched about the roadie run, chainsaw jump, and slide, but all those were glitches and not related to the actual shooting mechanics of the game. Putting more punch in the lancer was necessary to make it an effective weapon, and to negate host shotgun. Also changing the boomshot made it more important for people to get (I still prefer the old way, but I know trakan likes post patch boom much more).

Hey can't the hornet have two people on it. Thats a bunch of firepower form something so small. And did you see the Grav hammer, that impaled the Hornet in 2 hits!
 
Whoa. The hornet is gonna be sweet. Be able to hover like that will give any skilled pilot ( Zewone ) more of an advantage while killing then a banshee. Awesome stuff.
 
Yea, I have to agree with Help, save your hard earned cash and get Limited Edition. Your gonna need Bioshock, Stranglehold, and GTA IV. No matter what edition you get, your getting the same game.

IDK why people kept making jokes about the helmet being only cat-sized, I always thought it looked big. Yeah, it could only fit a cat's head in there, but the actual mold was always huge.
 
Yoiks, that Legendary Edition is freaking huuuuuge! I thought it was just going to be large enough to hold the discs. I have no idea where I'm going to put that shit, but s'ok. Yay BB and their pre-order guarantee as I wouldn't have bought it for more than $99.99 otherwise...:p

I picked up the original Halo for 10 bucks (sold it many years ago, still had Halo 2 though). A friend and I are playing through both to get ready for Halo 3. Then we're going to the midnight launch and play it all night. Can't wait.
 
Damn Hot Topic " lets sell lame alien weapons just becuase they share the least likeness to real guns". The Plasma Rifle is atleast useful, though. I'd have prefered an SMG or a BR. Maybe even a plasma sword if they wanted to get into that. Wouldn't have bout them anyway.

They are making a plasma sword. Also in one of the bungie updates they talked about how they were NOT going to make any of the human weapons because they would have to be bright orange since they look real.
